    My final bill
    Jesus G.

My family and I discovered this place through a staff member at our hotel. We arrived in a Lyft and were surprised to find it quite crowded. My sister spotted a few empty tables near the bar and approached the bartender, who was very friendly. She ordered a few drinks and we noticed a few people leaving their tables, so we moved over. However, the waitress working the area ignored us. When we finally got her attention, she acted rude and insisted that we couldn't order until the bar tab was closed. I then told her another card (mine) was to be charged for this order and she immediately rolled her eyes and left. The food and drinks took significantly longer than usual. The only reason we didn't leave was that we didn't have a car. Her attitude was bad. I could never go back. I still left 20% on bill as the food did end up tasting pretty good and is the reason I give them 3 stars.

The atmosphere is sports bar ice house so be prepared for no ac. Just a bar with all doors open and fans blasting. It's a cool spot to hang out and just chill with several TVs that have the game and UFC fight on. We're here hanging out before going to the United We Dance rave!

My daughter and I went over to this location since it is only about a mile from her place. Started with the onion rings and they were delicious. The. Got a burger along with a couple of drinks. Service was good but they were busy because of the Texans game. Atmosphere was electric due to the football games on the TV's. We will be making a return to this location for future Texan football games.

Craving a good old fashioned burger, Christian's Tailgate was on the menu. Ordered the Bacon Bacon Burger and fries! The burger was spot on and cooked perfectly. Was honestly a really really good burger. Fries were ok. Service was friendly. Value for the meal, price point too high IMO. I remember the old Tailgaters at Washington and I-10. Memories!!!

    Mimosa Carafe

A couple of friends and I decided to meet for a few drinks/ apps on a Saturday afternoon of Memorial Day Weekend. Seating is covered/ indoors but the bar is open air so you really get the feel of being at a patio bar. The bartenders and servers were all very friendly and happy to make suggestions. When there, our group ordered a few Yuengling Beers, the Mimosa Carafe and some fried pickles. I loved that the mimosa carafe was actually served as a bottle of Prosecco on ice with a large cup of juice (your choice of juice) so you could pick your own juice/ champagne ratio. Also- it was on their Saturday specials menu so the price ($15) just couldn't be beat! The only thing I didn't love was the fried pickles. The pickles were served as thinly sliced pickle spears instead of chips so when you bit in, you ended up with the whole pickle and then a lot of breading left over. They tasted good but it wasn't great for execution. Overall, we had a good time here and would definitely visit again

As a Wisconsinite, I had to put the cheese curds to the best. For non-Wisconsin curds, they were solid. The ranch was amazing too. I also tried the three cheese cavatappi pasta bake. It was so cheesy and gooey. I'd highly recommend it if you're looking for non-traditional bar food. My friend had the chicken tenders and said they were good. We came to watch the Utah Mammoth @ Nashville Predators game. While the staff tried their best to get it onto the TV for us, it unfortunately didn't work. However, the staff were so accommodating with letting us stick around to watch it on our ESPN app.

Don't know why there wasn't one tv showing any baseball game, including the Astros game on at the same time.) The bar is fine; the seats not the most comfortable; the food is overpriced bland Sysco, with the atmosphere too loud for the friendly waitstaff to hear you. I had a salmon Caesar, which was fine, but $31 plus a hidden 4% service charge for not a lot of lettuce, dressing, and four croutons. An app (chips and bland dip, skimped on the chips) and two entrees, a 16 oz beer and two mixed drinks was $145 with tax and tip. Agonizing to pay that much for a mid experience, especially with the other costs in time and money. Guaranteeing seats for the game without showing up ages in advance cost $40/seat and we didn't get the advertised VIP World Cup goody-bag package we were promised. Worst part of the night was getting out. 45 minutes stuck in the $10 Greenstreet parking garage because the scanners weren't working, but it's that or $40 of Ubers. So ~$250 for a less-than-mid evening that wasn't especially relaxing.

The first time that I went there, I went by myself and had a seat at the bar. The bartender was attentive and greeted me when I say down. I ordered some beers and a hot dog with chili. Both the beers and hot dog were great after the three hour bus ride I just took. The third time that I went there, I went with my friend and we had a seat at the bar. This was our last night in Houston and we decided to have a few drinks before our trip ended. I got a beer in their special St. Patrick's Day glass. The bartender was again attentive and it was a good night. Looking back, I guess both my first and last stops in Houston were here. The second time that I came here was also with my friend and we sat at a table to order food. The waitress was great and kept checking on us. I ordered the fish and chips. The fish was crispy and tasty. This is the only part that I had an issue with from the restaurant. At some point during my second visit, a woman came into the restaurant with her pants covered in poop. She left and then came back another time and walked among the tables. The bartender eventually escorted her out. Here is why I am still giving this place 4 stars after this. The service and food was still good even and I had two uneventful visits. This visit, I just happened to sit at a table closest to the door. If you want to make sure you don't have an experience like this, you can sit at the bar, or upstairs or further away from the front door. I recommend this place for a great selection of beer, great staff and great food.

I ordered Birria Tacos, while also sampling hot chicken mac n cheese fries, and brisket eggrolls thanks to what everyone else ordered. Everything was delicious. The bar offers $1 champagne shots and has a solid happy hour outside of their already pretty good regular prices. My only negative was the bathrooms. The name is simply "Houston" spelled backwards. The decor is quirky, eclectic and goes hard on the taxidermy. There are all kinds of animals from land-based to sea creations in all kinds of positions, along with very unique art and ambiance to explore. The multi-room layout makes the place a fun spot to explore and check out the different levels. The darkly lit ambiance makes it a bit hard for photographs, but it is no less a dizzying and fascinating space. My favorite part of the entire place is on third floor, where there is a sound dome that doubles as a visualizer, a communal space, and a trippy acoustics wonderland where music can be played via bluetooth and tourists and locals would enjoy it. The sound system is excellent and a perfect place to chill out. There's more than just sensory overload, the drinks also deserve a bit of mention. The jalapeño palomas and hibiscus mules are fun, despite feeling a tinge overpriced. Bartenders are nice people, and service as a whole is a thumbs up. The parking situation will be challenging, since this is Downtown proper. Street parking is available just down the block, and if one can avoid the crowded weekends, the weeknights are an ideal time to visit.
