My husband and I took our little ones here from my sons birthday the other day. Was clean, food was actually really good. My problem was lack of things to do, broken machines, and employee's not listening or performing their jobs. Last Friday we attended our niece's 8th birthday party at this Chuck E. Cheese. My three year old had never been to a CEC before but had heard about it from kids at preschool, so she was SUPER excited to go. Well she was definitely not disappointed, and had a blast. This place is awesome for kids under 10. So many games and fun prizes to buy with your tickets. She was not so excited to see Chuck E. Cheese in person, however. The second he walked out, her face went from pure joy to pure TERROR, and she jumped straight out of her chair and ran to my husband. Can't blame the kid...he is kinda creepy. The pizza is not the greatest, but what do you expect, it's Chuck E. Cheese. Friendly staff and clean restrooms. Excellent place to take your kid, especially when it's over 90 degrees out and they need to burn off some energy indoors. read more

It was crowded since it was Saturday night but anywhere you went from wall to wall you could smell it strong. Not that anyone was smoking inside but going outside and coming right in after. I came here for my daughter birthday party. When we got in we were greeted, I asked where my party table was, the staff tells my im 20 mins early? So ain't that the point so I can get what I need on the table and be prepared? Wtf!! Anyways it gets worst, when the party starts it took over 45 mins to get someone to come and take our food order mind you there's a 90 mins time limit for party tables, We get our food 70 mins into the party, then chuckee came out and danced with the birthday kids and tossed a handful of tickets and after that we were told our time was up and we had to move to the general tables. A new Chuck E Cheese is the only decent one. I loved the one in Concord as a kid, and grew to find out just how bad it was. Well, bad in terms of hygiene and food. It was usually a good time. Loved learning to play Spyhunter at this place. Fast Forward 20 years, now I'm the parent in this equation. Time does fly. Concord C.E.C. long since gone, this Brentwood location is the the newest one I've been to. Never seen one any cleaner. Only one mechanical mouse. The games were just ok to my thinking. They seemed cooler back in the day. The prize wall was lack luster. I heard the counter help was BAD. However, this was a party for a neighbor boy, and his parents didn't complain about the venue. The pizza here was many times better than Fairfield. This location is about as easy to get to as any I've ever visited. It's right off the bypass. Overall, a 3/5. Could be a 5 for what it is with a couple improvements. read more

I just visited with my 2 year old niece yesterday and I have been to much better locations. The one employee I saw had to cover the front entrance and ringing up food/tokens, but she did it well and was pleasant. Bathroom was pretty clean, pizza took about 15 minutes. My issue has to do with several "attractions" being closed down for repairs and the unruliness of some of the children. No parents or employees in sight to prevent the hooligans in training from climbing over barriers to remove balls so they could play for free. These kids were under ten years of age and made it very uncomfortable for myself and another person who didn't want their children to play near the raucous mayhem. There needs to be a better eye kept on unruly children to make parents/guardians that care, feel better about staying. We left soon after. read more

We usually frequent the Modesto CEC but decided to try Brentwood for a change of scene. Distance-wise, it's only a few miles further than Modesto from Tracy. I've gotta say, this is one of the nicest, cleanest, & well maintained Chuck E. Cheese's we've been to so far (& I think we've been to every one within a 50 mile radius). At every other CEC, there's always a broke-down machine, arcade, etc... & so far, we haven't seen any "out of service" units during any of our Brentwood CEC visits. Brentwood also has some of the newer games & rides not found at other locations. I like the layout of the place... it feels wide & open... not tight, confined or crowded like the others. As far as the food is concerned, there's not much to say. It's no different than any of the other CEC's (overpriced blah pizza). But, I guess the 1 token per play totally makes up for it. No more 'it takes 4 tokens to play this racecar driving game' crap... all games at CEC are1 token. BTW, we never go to a CEC without printing out the CEC club coupons we get from their monthly email blasts. Otherwise, their menu prices are just too pricey for what they turn out... we'd rather would take our $40-$50 elsewhere & eat at a 'real' restaurant & then come just for the games. I know these remarks regarding prices are aimed more at CEC in general, rather than specifically towards Brentwood CEC... just had to put in my 2 cents. read more

Our daughter loves it here. We've gone to other kids birthdays here, and even had our daughter's 5th birthday party at CEC. She just loved the ticket blaster! The staff that worked our party of 25 kids, and 20 adults really did a great job! Really on top of it! The several times we've been here, we have come before 3 pm, where it's a nice mix of families. After 4 pm, it gets a little ghetto where you have the 16 year olds trying to get on the preschool jeeps while texting.. They also serve alcohol here, and yes, everytime I come, I get either a glass of wine, or the large beer. Kids can do that to you! LOL! They scan your driver license when you buy the wine/beer because you can only have one per hour I think. Max 2 drinks per person, for the day. Its only enough time to keep you sane, not stumble drunk in front of the kids. Pizza is average - but hey, kids could care less about the pizza when they are having fun! Get great deals in the ads in the mail, and by email! Just used a coupon for $19.99. Large Pizza, 3 drinks, and 30 tokens! Will be coming a lot more once the weather cools down. Well this place Is big, and lots of game choices. Pizza was outstanding, great variety of drinks, including a promagranat 0 calorie drink.i like the upgraded carry around debit scan cards for the games, but the problem is the ticket winnings aren't scanned into it. Kids still have to wait for the machine to spit them out, and then collect. Most kids dont, so it's free tickets for others. Place is clean, including restrooms. Whenever I have a long period of time with the girls by myself I take em here to kill a few hours and hopefully the get run down and will take a nap soon after. Tonight was my first time going on a weekend night and it was extremely packed which was a surprise. The place is too small to accommodate everyone and have fun. I find myself paying for machines that are out of tickets or missing balls or plane just don't work. I prefer to go on a weekday when there's little to no one there and the deals are slightly better or they are more generous at the prize table. Waiting in line for children to make up their mind on what kind of trinket the want for 20 minutes is no fun when you got antsy kids of your own. Now they have gotten away from tokens which I personally don't like because the readers don't seem to respond that well and if the machine doesn't work it won't send your credit back. All in all it's a good time and they always have coupons available for pizza or tokens. read more

Speaking of Mothers, please teach your children some manners if you're bringing them in public and don't allow them to act like the animals you problem let them act like at home. We came to check out the place before booking our kid's Birthday and I was glad that I did! As soon as I walked in the line to order was short but took almost 20min for the 3 people to order?!? I asked the young lady at the front if there was anyone else who could help because the line was taking forever. She flat out said no! The location was dirty and the kids were running everywhere. It was chaos! When the food was ready my husband thanked the worker only for her to snub him toss the pizza on the table and walk away. He was pissed! It was the end of the night and it was clear that the employees didn't care! The mozzarella sticks were cold and the pizza was greasy. We ate and decided we weren't willing to spend $500 only to be dealing with these grumpy employees! The line to redeem your tickets was so long that I gave away the little tickets I had. The pizza was good, the games kept the kid entertained, and it was a good location. The downside is the feeling of needing to wash my hands consistently, and worried about all the sick kids running around... Why people... Why?? I will say Chuck E Cheese went down a few notches by taking away the animatronic characters and replacing them with TV's... I remember being a kid and seeing the animatronic characters... Took my son (4 y/o) and 2 month old here as an excuse to get out of the house. The other reviews are correct, this place has gone a bit downhill. A few of the games were out of order, which would be acceptable if there were more arcade games than there are. A few times machines are our coin or didn't give us our tickets; normally I would go search for someone who worked there and before there was always someone in earshot but there was no one to be found and I was wearing the baby so forget about it. Chucky only came out because my son requested him but the first time they played the dance along soundtrack that he's supposed to dance with the kids to he didn't come out so my son went and asked again and then when Chucky came out there was no music no anything he simply stood there threw a box of tickets and left. Very disappointing as my son loves Chucky. I'm thinking of letting corporate know, honestly the amount they charge ($1 for 3 coins now FYI) we should have a better experience! read more

Walked around stepping on food and trash for 10 looking for 1 clean table before finding someone to clear on for us only to find I was sitting on a greasy stained bench. Good location, everyone is friendly, we attended today for a friends kids birthday. Had a great time and the kids had a lot of fun. Pizza was good considering it's Chuck E. Cheese. 2 complaints: The bathrooms (men's and women's both) smell terrible (urine). And it's not like it's from being used all day, we got there when we opened. Smelled like it hadn't been cleaned in a month or longer! It activated my allergies and I couldn't stand it! Second item is they have no Dr Pepper (don't carry it). Recently had a birthday party here and oh my. I have to say I was impressed! Im so glad I got the mega star package! I literally just brought the cake. They took care of pizza drinks ice cream and goodie bags! Probably the cheapest birthday i have ever thrown! The customer service was great. There were 4 other parties going on at the same time, but that didnt make a difference. The host Adam and supervisor Christian were both amazing! Everything flowed perfectly. My first time here at this location. Its newer than the one I went to in San Bruno on El Camino YUK! Brentwood CEC with the naked eye somewhat looks cleaner. Those that live here in Brentwood know how hot it can get, to have a place with AC and the kids can run off steam, for now works for me. The new management is horrible! Business has definitely taken the turn for the worse. I have been here countless of times with my kids and it was always a pleasurable experience, until the new management. I went last night and I will NEVER take my kids back. Not only is it more expensive (3 tokens for $1), dining room tables were all dirty with plates and cups still left on tables, pizzas all over the floor, bathroom was a complete mess with no toilet papers in multiple stalls, and half of the games were either not working or out of tickets. very rude customer service. a game owed me over 500 tickets because the game ran out. i waited over 40 minutes. i told every employee multiple times and they just gave me attitude. and on top of that, they lied to me and said the guy went home already. then i see him 20 minutes later. and then still waiting another 15 minutes to get my tickets. then i see the manager and try and talk to her what happend. all she did was laugh and ignore me. i was very pissed off at this point. horrible customer service. rude employees and manager. employees lying to me about the only person that can put the tickets in left for the day. this needs to be addressed. i come alteast once a week and spend a minimum $150 each time. this needs to be fixed or i will not be coming back again. concord chucke cheese never gives me this problem. never. When leaving, no one checked the stamp. Honestly anyone could have walked out with someone elses kid. And no one would have known. Also. The last time I came here, last week. What happened here!!! DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY!!! I don't know if they are short staffed or what but almost every table has used dirty plates and things, the drink station is covered in used cups and lids, the bathrooms needs to be cleaned all the trash cans are full and overflowing. It is a Monday so probably not the busiest of times and this place is a wreck. Come on management step it up. Not to mention the lettuce in the salad bar is going bad and is brown. The other parts of the salad bar are empty and 1 employee has been looking like she is refilling it for an hour but really she is just standing around because nothing has changed. So I've been to chuck e cheese many times (Mother of a 10 & 6) never have I had a bday party there. To be honest I always felt like it would be overwhelming because that place alone is madhouse of children! However on 11/11/15 I had my sons bday party there and my host? Tatiana was GREAT!!!! She was super attentive! Very joyful! Made my son and his cousins feel like superstars!! On average this place is just ehh.. I mean its chuck e cheese where a kid can be a kid.. So that alone is what it is. Lol. Besides that fact, the salad bar can be a little more clean. 4 stars for Tatiana and minus 1 for the salad bar. read more
