Yet another restaurant fail. Friday night I call in a to go order ordering 216 ounces to pints of the creamy jalapeño dip. I was told 5 mins. I arrive 12 minutes later proceeded to go to the to go window was asked by no less than four people what I needed and my name. 10 minutes later when I finally got my order they provided me with one 32 oz, not two 16 ounce like I had ordered and was told when you said 2 pints I just figured you wanted 32 ounces so I just made it the bigger one Since I was in a time crunch for Quickturn and it took me 10 minutes to get my original order standing there for 10 minutes I decided to take the 32 ounce and separate it out myself when I arrived at my destination. yet another restaurant fail. Go to Taco Bell and save some money. They have better food than what is served here. This place has gone so downhill over the years. Chuy's used to be so much better. Chuy's by far has the best tortillas and queso in my book. We have ordered to-go with them a couple times during this pandemic and the food is just as good as if we were eating at the restaurant. I came here with 4 people and we all enjoyed the great customer service and good food. The wait was short and our waiter didn't hesitate to refill the chips often. This is a great restaurant. We love bringing our family here. We usually get fajitas for two and split them with everyone. They give you quite a bit of food. If you come at happy hour I believe between 4:00 and 6:00 during the weekdays they have a free nacho bar. That's a added plus for sure when we have four hungry little mouths to feed. Hate to say it but it just hasn't been quite as good as it used to be the last few times. On our last outing, I don't think anyone left feeling like we'd made a great choice for a place to spend our Friday evening. I enjoyed the green sauce on the chicka chicka boom boom as always, and the margaritas were good as well. But my wife and daughter picked at their food and didn't finish it. One had the taco salad, which was served without sour cream and was pretty dry, and it took a while for the sour cream to come out upon request. Can't remember what the other ordered. The service was enthusiastic but forgetful. No silverware until we asked, and had to ask twice for extra napkins. This was at the tail end of evening rush hour so maybe the staff was tired. Adjusting to three stars. It's not a bad restaurant, it's just not quite as good as it used to be. read more

Well second time here in a week. Chuys is my absolute favorite! We got the exact same things here our second time! I cannot wait until the update the menu with the green chili stew and the fried avocado!!!!! Our waitress Marissa was awesome!!! Such an awesome waitress!! Definitely will be going back & hope to have her take care of us again. Everything came out super fast and was delicious!!!! I recently moved to Ft Worth from Austin so of course Chuys is a must in my books. Their food is always delicious. The appetizer sampler is your best choice. You get a little of all the appetizers. Their queso & guacamole are my favorites & their quesadillas are very good as well! I love their tortilla soup and their salads are delicious. My husband got the burrito with spicy queso & it was awesome! The spicy queso reminded me of Torchy's queso... Yum yum yum! We also got the granddaddy Margarita which never fails to let you down. Our server, Avi, was awesome! So sweet & very attentive! The service was very fast as well! I am so glad that they just opened this location close to our home! read more

When we arrived we were told it would be a 30 minute wait but no big deal normally it isn't ever as long as you are told and ours wasn't it was maybe 10 minutes tops. So that was good. I have to say the setting was cool I loved all the decorations. We sit down and they bring you chips, chips, and more chips They also bring a salsa that has some spice to it. So don't eat it until you have got your drinks (just a heads up). My mom couldn't handle the spice of the hot sauce so she got the queso. Let's just say the queso is really tasty! Our waitress did a great job! She had the refills to our drinks about the time we were half way through with our current ones. As busy as they were i was very impressed. She also gave us an idea as to how hot some of the meals were...she used the heat of the salsa to explain. Now the food, I have to say I was way under impressed with the food. The chicken on my enchilada was not rubbery but you couldn't cut it up easily. I think the beans were my favorite and the rice was ok. I just kept thinking I could go to Rosa's and the food would be better and it would be cheaper. Now in all fairness I would give it another chance and maybe not get the chicken this time to see if the beef is better. I would at least try it once to see if you like it. We've heard all sorts of amazing things about this place and it was pretty good. Not out of this world good, but good. The chips were delicious and the salsa was incredibly flavorful and fresh, but really spicy. They told us That their salsa is one of the spiciest things they have. Seems weird to have the free salsa they give to everyone be the spiciest thing they serve. We tried the chicken chimichanga- amazing! The sampler platter was pretty good. Rice and beans were mediocre. Their giant tostado chips dipped in queso were my favorite! They came with the sampler. Long wait to get in on a Friday night and quite loud, but fun friendly atmosphere! The decorating was really neat. read more

My recent visit with Chuys was less than desirable as I was there to place a Togo order and was waiting while I saw a employee in uniform sitting in the bar area drinking and everyone was standing there talking to him and did not notice me. When the Togo person came to me he was very rude and I ended up just leaving and will not be back. read more

Iv'e been a frequent customer for many months. I love the creamy dip and fresh tortillas they make there and the staff is normally very polite and accommodating to us, but last friday night my husband and I were very upset with the behavior of one male employee (don't remember name) who was yelling and being extremely rude to another female employee. He was very loud and didn't care about any other guests sitting at the bar, I don't know what was the matter, but he kept calling her a "stupid child" and degrading her. I told my husband to tell a manager but when we got home he said he forgot. I love this place and would never expect that from a waiter here. This three star review is only because of the incredible noise we encountered at the new Chuy's in Fort Worth. My sisters and I literally had to yell at each other. The food was very good. I ordered chicken flautas with green chili rice and refried beans. The beans were very dry. The flautas were awesome as usual. One sister ordered nachos and they were good. Showed up at 845 on a Saturday night. Walked in and there were 2 people waiting in front of me. Asked for a table for 2 and was told it would be 15 minutes. I noticed 3 tables that were empty in the dining room and was told there was a 15 minute wait. Why is there a wait when there are 3 tables empty that I could see and only 2 people waiting in front of me. I've been to the location at the Arlington Highlands and definitely preferred it over this location. I've given it 2 times to change my mind but It just can't. The service is horrible. Slow to respond and takes forever to get your food. Our table was barely wiped down and was sticky. The waitstaff really doesn't seem to care about their sections and disappear. When our food finally arrived the server was gone so fast that we had to wait until someone else walked by to request silverware. I don't mind a busy restaurant but this location seems chaotic to me. It hasn't been a fun place out with family or friends. I won't be giving this location another chance. read more

I'm here on Cinco de Mayo (we ordered ahead and didn't think it would be as crazy as it turned out to be! Wow!) There were SO. MANY. PEOPLE. but let me tell you. Every single employee was was running and trying their absolute best to get everyone their order. People were getting antsy, but they kept their grace as they tried to accommodate. I have been a Chuy's "groupie" for 30+ years. I remember visiting the original down by Zilker Park in Austin during the '80s and have visited almost every other location throughout Texas. A new one opened near my home in north Fort Worth. My friends and I couldn't believe we had a Chuy's so close. Unfortunately our excitement came to an end. There is no way this location has a manager, assistant manager, or a district manager. The service and food quality at this location can be less than impressive. Chuy's has always been a five star experience for me. They need to step up their game, or back to the Southlake location we go. Update 7-17 They have made major improvements with training and food quality. Very happy to see this!!! read more

My wife and I eat here once a week. The best Mexican food and stellar service around. Wife has the Chicka-Chicka Boom-Boom And I have the beef enchiladas with chili con carne and it never fails to exceed my expectations. The hostess is the friendliest lady and knows our name and preferred table. The wait staff works as a team so if you are out of something any of wait staff is more than willing to serve you. Would definitely recommend to anyone. For the amount of delicious food you get the prices are great. read more
