Came here last night for dinner around 7pm with my mom and baby. Everything we had was delicious and the service from both workers that helped us out was fantastic. We were there for about an hour. Most orders seemed to be take out. They have 4 or 5 tables. We had the medium Mountain Top and the Ranch Strips. On the mountain top, the veggies were way crispier and less cooked than other pizza places. I'm not sure if they start the pizza out in the oven without the veggies and then add them in later, but I liked it a lot. The ranch strip were also very good. I looked up "best pizza in Folsom calif" and this restaurant resulted. I have been to about 3 or 4 others in Folsom and this truly is the best. Pizza incredible, staff incredible, clean ,neat establishment. Carson who took my order was polite, attentive and is an asset to the restaurant. Everyone who works there goes above and beyond! Great service Decent place wish their restaurant could be cleaner maybe they are short staffed but the place didn't look clean and the worker had a lot of hair on his arm. I had my first pizza ('Trader Sam's' swapped the ham out for pepperoni) at Ciro's on Bidwell and it was excellent! The employees are very personable and Dan, our pizza maker, gave us a detailed explanation of the history of their special crust recipe and even explained how the stone oven finishes off the bottom of the crust. Alex who is also very warm and friendly, is super consciousness about sanitation as well... not letting us sit down at our chosen table until he was able to properly clean it, explaining that the prior customers had just left right before we came in. The restroom was clean and tidy and the entire experience was just wonderful! They both personally handed us coupons for our next visit...which we will definitely return soon! The sauce taste homemade, the pizza dough is perfect even cold, the toppings are off the chart- there is so much topping that when you pick a piece up its actually HEAVY! I've been coming to Ciro's for almost 32 years and it is by far my family's favorite pie. The Real Pisano is made with fresh basil and fresh tomatoes and I've not been able to find a pie like it anywhere else in town. As always, Ciro's pizza doesn't disappoint- but their manager could have better customer service, and management skills. We ordered a pizza for delivery and over an hour later as we are expecting a knock on the door we get a call from the manager stating a new employee dropped our pizza and they had to remake it. As someone that manages employees myself, I would never throw an employee under the bus, - he had so many other choices of handling the situation. Regardless, he advised that we'd have a new pizza in 25 minutes. Almost an hour later we called back to check, and the same manager had no sympathy, said the driver must have hit traffic (at 8:50 pm). He didn't apologize for the extreme delay in our dinner, he had no remorse. We are pretty regular patrons of Ciro's but the pizza market in our area is competitive so we will be choosing other options now. It's always important to value your customers, and treat them accordingly. read more

It was so delicious - loved the crust, oven baked daily and so many crisp veggies! If you're in the neighborhood, you can order pizza by the slice to go, or eat in the cafe and enjoy a glass of beer or wine. I received one private message from Rob, the owner of Ciro's Pizza with an invitation to be his guest to try his pizza. When I told him I recently had a stroke, he offered to deliver the pizza of my choice and delivered it personally. I ordered a combo. The pizza was awesome and I plan to visit his restaurant soon. I did a pickup and had to wait a bit for the pizza, which I thought was great because pizza would be hot. I was wrong, pizza came out soggy and uncooked. When I got home, there was water in the box because veggies had not thoroughly cooked. Had to put the pizza in the oven to finish cooking them. This was my seconds visit , First time I placed an order instore great fast friendly service, Pizza was AMAZING and delicious . therefore we came back but this time I placed my order on the app. I was unable to call my order phone lines no one picked up. I got a message from the app that my order was ready unfortunately when I arrived my order was not ready . I was asked to wait . I had to wait over 20 minutes. disappointed . why did I get an alert that my order is ready when it was NOT???? A young lady came after me to pick up an order for delivery service she was also informed that her order is not ready and was asked to wait . the cashier/order taker offered her a drink while she waits. We tried Ciro's new location and absolutely loved it! They just got their liquor license and so we tried out a few adult beverages with our pizza. The pizza was as delicious as ever and the 4 packs of specialty brews were a great addition. I am gluten free and tried out the Grass Valley Brewing Co.
