They directly source and roast elite coffees from around the world. This shop is located in an old historical home that was relocated from Rainey street. The space is very vintage and they have an amazing outdoor space that was perfect for hosting an event. My phone charge was low and the staff was super friendly and allowed me to charge my phone behind the counter before the run. Overall, Praxis is a great spot if you're looking for high-quality coffee and a great place to hang out. Can't wait to try options from their menu.

I hear they are also one of the first, if not the first, craft coffee roaster in Texas. Found within the base of the Natiivo highrise, Cuvee was a bigger location than I expected. Tons of seating inside in a variety of forms, including a few outdoor seats. Staff was very friendly and fast in preparing everything for us. I was surprised with what a wide variety of nitro cold brew drinks they had here! They also had a bunch of beer on tap, a huge list of cocktails and a huge list of Boozy Coffee Cocktails. So many cool and fun options here. Plus, some 5mg delta-9 drinks in the case...winnnn! I ended up going with the Mint Chocolate Chip speciality cold brew which added a nice creamy mocha and mint cold foam to their signature nitro drink. I absolutely loved this. It was the best coffee I've had in ages, though to be fair it was so indulgent it felt nearing a dessert. I was obsessed with it! My friend had the Maple Spiced Pecan speciality cold brew which I also tried and loved. But that Mint Choco Chip...mymymy~ Absolutely loved Cuvee Coffee and I'll be back next time I'm in Texas~!

I got a specialty matcha off the seasonal menu, and it was awful. The matcha tasted bitter and grassy. It was also very grainy like it had been pre-batched or not mixed properly. My latte had a fruit syrup in it, but I couldn't taste it at all once I mixed the drink a little. I'm a huge matcha fan so I was very disappointed. If you order a drink here, I would recommend sticking with the coffee items.

Radio Rosewood wants to keep the party going all day and late into the night, offering food outside of "goes with coffee" and a beautifully appointed bar. The featured coffees here are roasted by their own RCB Roasters, and my selection was their Ethiopian Guji, promising some nice acidity and brightness from its lighter leaning roast profile. The coffee "space" is compact here, but they're using good gear and seem to have the staff to use it well. My espresso was served with sparking water, and was just as I'd hoped, a bright cup with citrus acidity that was well structured, but not overly acidic or bitter at all. It was a winner all around. I'll have to get back in for an adult beverage on my next visit, but I was pleased to see that us coffee lovers can still get a good "fix" here!
