I tried this place after receiving a recommendation from a reliable friend, but I was very disappointed. I called and asked about the type of cheese in the jalapeño poppers and was informed it was cheddar cheese so I ordered those and a salad. About half the lettuce in my salad should not have been served to a customer and should have been thrown out. Then I tried my poppers and found out they are made with cream cheese! I was given a 20 minute wait time for pickup but when I arrived I had to stand in the restaurant for almost 10 minutes waiting to be acknowledged in order to pay and pick up my food. On top of the poor quality of food I was provided, the customer service is lacking and the employees are not properly informed of the product they're selling. I had to throw out everything I ordered and will not be returning. read more

Better Pizzas and service at other places in town. The Food....average Pizza parlor food ( mainly from Frozen) other then an average home made Pizza sauce everything else is purchased frozen. Nothing original here. The Staff...Owners are European (German, Albanian) and the rest of the staff is mainly Brazilian with a "We are better then Americans" attitude. There maybe 2 or 3 local kids used to answer the phones and take walk in orders. Delivery times...The worse out of all the other restaurants in town. One hour delivery times aren't uncommon. read more

Been ordering from here at least twice a week, and have been for 5 years. WAS always a fan. We get a delivery order for over $50, they forgot a bacon burger platter. It's a burger, fries, and a roll. We get it all the time. So we went over it with the delivery driver and asked him if he could send us the bacon burger they forgot. The driver leaves. We wait another half hour, and they still aren't here. So now it is an hour late. We call them asking about the burger, they say we will send it out. 20 minutes later we get a sloppily made sub roll with half a burger tossed on the roll with bacon, with no fries and no bun. We call them again, we tell the employee the issue and ask for a credit for burger platter. The put down the phone and I hear the employee tell the manager the we want a credit and I hear the manager say "Aw that's bullshit! Complete bullshit! We gave them one and then they call for another, we give it to them and now they want the whole order free?! That's Bullshit!" I point out the fact that I heard that whole charming conversation about a loyal customer. The manager continues to tell me that I ordered wrong and that this is all my fault and I should be grateful. We told him that if he doesn't give us a credit for just the burger platter, then he would lose our whole family's business. He gives me more attitude and so I hung up the phone. DO NOT GET FROM THIS PLACE. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR LOYAL CUSTOMERS. THEY DON'T CORRECT THEIR WRONGS. My dinner has now been ruined. read more

These. Calzones. Are. Enormous. And tasty and filled with cheese. What more do you need?

Where to start with classic pizza. This restaurant Is definitely not your average pizza place, not even close. First off the food is unbelievable, and with all the choices on their vast menu, you can choose something new everytime you go. Instead of their "competition" Sals Pizza, which you pretty much only have the option of pizza, which dont get me wrong is good. But The thing that separates CP1 from any pizza place in Marlborough is the atmosphere. I have been going to classic for a few years now, and everytime I enter the door, I am automatically greeted by the staff, whether they hit me with a new joke, or discuss current news, they are like my second family. Even though the atmosphere is above average, the only important thing in a restaurant is the food. The pizza is excellent, the calzones are to die for. And not to mention any type of sub you can think of. You can always see the employees always hard at work making new freah dough, or new cheese for the pizzas. So when Mark D. Says he will never be a fan I hope that changes, because he is really missing out on not only the food, but the experience of going to Classic Pizza 1. read more
