Came back again and it was still good. Their sauce is still on point. Besides the seafood, I recommend their loaded asada fries and grilled oysters

They will open at new location May 20 (I heard) 11450 SOUTH STREET CERRITOS, CA 90703 ^_^

One of my favorites in Garden Grove. The staff are extremely nice and fast. The place is always clean and well decorated. The food and drinks are always good. Will come back often to support them :)

Service was a bit slow but other than that the food was amazing! Great experience. Lychee martinis were a huge hit. We got shrimp, crawfish, crab legs, sausage and clams. Sides corn and potatoes.

This is a Cajun seafood place that has a variety of food offerings. It is pretty spacious and can accommodate a good amount of customers. Service is attentive. Their food is not bad, though their seafood sauce is a bit lacking. Peeled Shrimp with Cannon Ball sauce 4/5 - They have peeled shrimp! This is a big selling point for those who don't like to peel shrimp shells. The shrimps are also big and juicy unlike mushy shrimps at other places. However, the sauce isn't as good as places I've been to. The Cannon Ball sauce has a strong lemon flavor, almost like it consists of mostly salt and lemon. They just need to tone the lemon flavor down and make it more garlicky and flavorful. Garlic Fries 5/5 - These fries were da bomb. They were super crispy and delicious with garlic and Parmesan toppings. Definitely a must-get!

My food is there and they still didn't give me my food yet.

Food was great but the only complaint I have is ordering from online. If you're a first time online orderer, they will not make your food until you get there which defeats the purpose of a quick pick up. They are so worried about people ditching. But this isn't the first time I've order online. I asked what the ETA was on the phone and they said about 5-10 minutes. I gave them 10 minutes before I left my house and it takes 15 minutes to get here. Told them I have a pickup. Been waiting here for about 10 minutes and they still don't have my order which means they didn't even make my food yet. Btw, my order was 4 lbs of frozen crawfish with 4 corns.

Fantastic restaurant, we were served by angel Megan. she was so nice to us and helped us with figuring out what to order. The clam chowder fries were also fire. Would definitely recommend coming here!!

My friend and I came to visit here for the second time. We got their 3 lb meal deal, sweet potato fries and calamari. Our last server was super nice. He was all smiles and we got the same server. I think his name was John (not quite sure), but service was superb. Idk why it tasted so good but their Shirley temple was amazing! They also offer alcoholic drinks. It's a spacious spot with tons of tables. Surprisingly not as busy for dinner. But it was overall good.

Never thought about orderings a steak at the place it ended up really good. The steak was cooked to the temperature that I wanted. We also got a pound of shrimp y 1/2 pound of sausage. And a side of rice. The meal filling and satisfying

My favorite out of all the seafood boil places. Their wings are so delicious and crunchy. We prefer to do the meal deals and claws has a great one, we usually do lemon pepper fries, baguette, side of rice, shrimp, crawfish and green mussels. King crab legs when we want to splurge. The service is pretty on point, never really had issues. My only issue is that they close too early especially with the bar they have there. Overall 10/10 I enjoy everytime.

Crawfish are fresh or frozen this month?

She went in looking for sushi-grade salmon, and she couldn't be happier with the quality. The salmon was incredibly fresh, healthy-looking, and full of flavor. She prepared a few different dishes with it, including sushi cuts and a spicy salmon bowl, and both turned out absolutely delicious. It's always nice to find a place you can trust for quality seafood, especially when it's being used for raw dishes like sushi. Highly recommend this market for anyone looking for fresh, high-quality fish.

We ordered the toro, tuna, salmon, and yellowtail and I can definitely see myself coming back here often. If I'm being completely honest, the toro didn't quite meet my expectations, which is the only reason I hesitated to give it a perfect score. That said, the salmon and especially the yellowtail were outstanding, it was fresh, flavorful, and everyone enjoyed it. I'm already looking forward to coming back to try the shrimp or scallop next time. Currently most items are frozen but I hope they can offer some fresh options to better enjoy day off and smaller quantities (half pounds) so I can buy a little bit of everything. Anyways our sushi night at home that fed three people to the brim was around ~90 and was a success thanks to D&D seafood

If that bit of consistency doesn't speak volumes I don't know what will. Oc & Lau specializes in Vietnamese street food and essentially works in family style dining. Everything is brought out in platters & large bowls where food is shared amongst the table. The menu is filled with Vietnamese salads, snails, assortment of seafoods, rice, noodles, and hotpot. Vegetarian options are available. As if the menu isn't extensive enough, there is a whole section of drinks- alcoholic & non alcoholic. Must haves: *COCONUT ESCARGOT w/ BASIL LEAVES *GRILLED GARLIC BUTTER ESCARGOT *GRILLED RAZOR CLAMS IN GARLIC BUTTER & PEPPERCORNS *GRILLED RAZOR CLAMS IN TAMARIND SAUCE *SALT & PEPPER SQUID *SPICY GRILLED CHICKEN FEET *RARE BEEF SALAD *DEEP FRIED QUAIL IN BUTTER HOUSE SAUCE *GARLIC BUTTER QUEEN CLAMS The food is authentic and genuinely great! Ingredients are always fresh and the quality is on point. My complaints stem from the restaurant ALWAYS being "sold out" of the razor clams and the stir fried basil clams coming out soupy and off tasting to what they normally should taste like. Not too big of a deal once you factor in all the other great qualities Oc & Lau has. The pricing is costly and the portions can be small depending on what you are ordering. Things add up quite quickly since my family and I eat to get stuffed. Lmao. 5/5 stars because a trip to LA isn't a trip to LA without visiting O&L!!! I'll forever be a fan!!

Louisiana Creole Approved!!!!…read more Wow, just wow. There were a few other things I was not able to photograph because everyone was so excited about the food it got snatched up. Lol My mother was in town, and I told her about a place that has creole cuisine. Being born and raised in Louisiana, my mom has a very strong opinion on southern cooking. She ordered a cup of a the seafood gumbo and was blown away. My mom has never liked any restaurants gumbo outside of the south. However, this fine establishment was the first to win her seal of approval. Everything was well seasoned and absolutely divine. We ordered several entrées like the gumbo, steamed oysters, French bread and butter, kids chicken tenders, H0use, lobster, blackened catfish, beignets, margarita, strawberry lemonade and a Moscow mule. The food was great. The service was good. The atmosphere was peaceful. There were so many great menu items. It was hard to choose so I guess that means we'll have to continue to keep going back so we can try everything.

Another date-night experience…read more My wife and I have a number of hometown favorite places to eat with friends and family. My wife also has a little phrase she likes to use on Friday mornings as we wrap up a busy week of work, family, home projects, and other commitments. She will inevitably turn to me, smile, and say, "Where are you taking me for dinner tonight?" Sometimes we enjoy returning to those familiar places where you can always count on a good meal, attentive service, and a comfortable setting. But this Friday, I was thinking, maybe not. How about a place with a menu that was a little unique to the Southern California community, but not necessarily international fare? That's when I came across Roux Seafood Kitchen. I always check the interior and exterior photos before trying a new restaurant because my wife notices things that I would never even think about or care about. For example, she immediately noticed the oyster shells as we walked to the door and the double glass doors as we left the restaurant. Both earned her seal of approval. The dining room and bar area were orderly, classy, and appeared clean and polished. This place was going to make the grade. I made reservations through the website's chat feature and received a prompt response, so we were set for the evening. We were greeted warmly at the door and escorted to a table with a "Reserved" sign on it. A corner booth by the window--perfect. The service was attentive throughout the evening. At least four different servers stopped by to check on us during the meal, and whenever we requested something, it arrived quickly. Every member of the staff was pleasant, engaging, and personable. As many other reviewers have noted, there are similarities to New Orleans-style cuisine. We, too, were reminded of the flavors and Cajun-inspired epicurean dining experiences we've enjoyed in the past. We topped off the evening with warm, sweet beignets covered in powdered sugar. It was a wonderful dinner and a pleasant evening, with just a little taste of Bourbon Street on Beach Boulevard.
