We were seated fast and while we were waiting for the rest of our party, our servers were very patient with us. When the rest of our party came, the servers were attentive and took our order right away. They also kept checking in on us to see if we needed anything else. I love claws it is my absolute favorite Cajun restaurant and believe me I have tried many. The reason I always go back is because of their delicious food which is always consistent and their amazing service (shout out to Amy she is the BEST). Due to covid I haven't been able to dine there for a while but I have been getting togo and it does not disappoint. Calling over the phone to place an order can be hard at times but that's okay because I usually go to the restaurant and order anyways. It is always prepared accurately and quickly too not much of a wait. I have tried a lot of items because I have been here many times but my favorite things to order are clams, peeled shrimp and some corns (if I'm in the mood). Huge Menu! One thing is I'm all about the boil flavor for shrimp and seafood in a bag. Everyone knows everyone has its favorites location. However this location has quantity flavor and top notch service. We went on a Sunday night no lines no waiting. It was busy however not overwhelming. The garlic Parmesan fries are dangerously good.? For dining in make sure to scan the menu on your phone before sitting down they don't provide menus. If taking out they gave the menus displayed on the table for you to look at. I hadn't been to Claws in while... and finally got the chance last week. It wasn't during crawfish season so most of their crawfish was frozen. It didn't matter to me because all I wanted was crabs. They were out of Dungeness but they had snow crab and king crab. I had to get the King Crab for $40 (market price). It was two legs. I went for their popular Cannon Ball flavor, which is a mix of all three flavors in one. It was perfect! There was plenty of meat and two legs was more than enough for me. They gave us scissors to use for the legs. For sides, we also got a pound of crawfish and an order of their gumbo. The gumbo came with rice on the side. It too was pretty good. The crawfish tasted frozen like we anticipated but the seasoning was good. They had plenty of drink deals going on while we were there. The service was pretty good and the food came out fast. The inside of this place is pretty large. They have plenty of tables and chairs and a large bar in the middle. I also like that there was plenty of TVs for sport lovers. I have been getting cajun seafood at this place since it was just opened years ago. It's one of the best in town. Their sauce is not too salty and oily like some other places. I got togo this time because of COVID and it was very fast (only 15 mins wait). I have also tried the cajun fries, sweet potato fries and wings before and they were all pretty good. The service is always nice and friendly here. From the host/hostess in the front to servers/food runners always greet and help guests with a smile. The only minor thing that I would say about this visit is that some of the Clam and Mussle we're not fully cooked as they were still closed. We had to boiled them more when we got home. Ordered 1 pound of clams w garlic butter, 1 pound of clams w cannon ball (all the sauces together), and 1 pound of peeled shrimp (Yes they peel your shrimp for you for $.50 extra per pound...totally worth it :) and rice and corns. The clams taste fresh but not a huge fan of their version of the garlic butter sauce. There wasn't much butter or garlic taste to it. The shrimp however: love the fact that peeled shrimp is an option but it was suppose to be mild and it came hella spicy. Also it wasn't very fresh because I had a mild allergy to it. Unfortunately we have been coming to this restaurant since they opened. We live 1 light away and haven't been able to visit since COVID-19. We literally just walked in moments ago at 8:30 PM to dine in for a dinner we have been craving immensely as the food at this establishment is phenomenal. The (2) hosts at the podium were not only rude but also quick to speak over us and turn us away before letting me complete my sentence. We called prior to driving over to see what time the restaurant closed and they said 9 o'clock. We got in the car and once we arrived and walked inside, neither individual standing in front of me spoke a word and looked confused at our presence. I politely said for (2) of us and smiled and he quickly spoke over me and said unfortunately they aren't seating anyone for the rest of the night and are only doing take out orders. I was so confused as to why wouldn't someone have mentioned that over the phone when we had just called minutes prior. We also asked if we could order with him right then and there and be seated to wait for the food. He gave us no opportunity at that or let alone the chance to even get a drink.
