Let's start with the good stuff: The view is incredible. Just as advertised. Our server Alex was very attentive and extremely honest when I accidentally overpaid by $100. What could be improved: We were staying in the hotel for our wedding, but we're giving no preference on seating near the windows. The food was incredibly uninspired and not very well presented. Staying next door at their hotel my husband and I decided to check out this restaurant for dinner on one of our nights. We made reservations for 7 and definitely glad we did. Walking in the restaurant was very busy. The host greeted us and let us know that our table would be ready soon. We waited about 5 mins until we were seated. Our table was right next to the window so we got the gorgeous view to go along with our dinner. We were greeted by our server and told the specials for the night and then brought our drinks. We decided to try their lemon limeade which was nice and refreshing. A little tart and a little sweet but not overwhelmingly so. Having asked the host what was good on the menu we took her suggestion and got their pear and cheese pasta with steak added to it. We also chose to get their soy glazed chicken dish. The food came out pretty fast but while we were waiting we were brought some warm sourdough bread with butter. The bread was soft and light with great flavor. When the food arrived it looked delicious. The pasta was well cooked and the flavors were great. The pear added a nice crunch and the steak was a great addition. The chicken dish was awesome. It was well marinated and the charcoal from the grill gave it extra flavor. The veggies they served with it were crisp and fresh and the risotto was delicious. The food was so good that we actually ordered it the next night to be brought to our room and enjoy it on the balcony. Overall between the food, service and atmosphere I will definitely come back next time I am in town. I would also recommend it to anyone looking for a great date night. read more

The view and the story of this restaurant are lovely, but the hype might have been geared more towards its romantic atmosphere rather than the food. It's close to five stars, but fell a little short this time. I felt as if maybe there could have been a new chef working. I ordered the rock fish which was cooked to perfection, but unfortunately the cream cheese overpowered the fish itself (new chef or perhaps a new ingredient experiment?). The cream cheese just was necessary. Then the molten cake didn't come out right, it was over done (though the milk chocolate inside had a nice smooth flavor). I'd also like to see more than a sliver of strawberry and single blackberry on the dish. Fruit does so much for chocolate. On a more positive note, the atmosphere and staff did a wonderful job, even while training new staff. The cork fee is low ($15) for us wine aficionados. Bread at the table is always a good way to start (plain butter would be nice). The wedge salad & butternut squash soup were great appetizers. I love a good butternut squash soup, this one tasted like fall and even had little hearts to help us celebrate Valentine's Day. My husband loved the way his Filet Mignon was cooked and we both enjoyed the flavor of the mashed potatoes. Next visit we will likely try the creme brûlée for dessert. The molten cake wasn't a hot, but the brûlée sure photographs well. read more

We went here for an anniversary and were pleasantly surprised. Very pleasantly surprised. Our server Cassidy was on it and very helpful with meal choices. We started with the Brussel sprouts and they were good but maybe roasted longer. My wife had the staff favorite, four cheese & pear pasta that was a bit rich for her, but we brought it home, and it will definitely be eaten. I had the chili glazed salmon with the butter sauce on the side. I'm definitely glad I had it on the side because it was perfectly balanced without the sauce. The rice underneath, glaze on the salmon that was done just right, and the ripe mango on top were perfectly paired. We will definitely be returning. read more

Chicken fried chicken Well...... the last time we were there my sister-in-law had it and it looked great a tenderized breast well breaded on top of a great mash. This time she wanted to go to Cliffside again she is visiting from Texas and it was so good last time I ordered it with her. What happened? Two tenders on top of mash with salty gravy? First thing she said was "this is not what I remembered". Still like the restaurant but I think a fail on the chicken, the salmon is always great. Oh and what about the bread a dry hoagie roll? Great quiet dinner with amazing views. Destiny was a great server and suggested the 4 cheese pasta and pear topped with grilled chicken or salmon. They both looked amazing but the chicken was fabulous. Not dry and over cooked (cooked to perfection!) The lemonade served with salt rimmed on the edge was also a nice touch! The view is beautiful and the ambiance is nice. This is one of my go-to restaurants in St George. This time I had the salmon salad, butternut squash soup and lemon limeade. Beautiful city views of St. George are the draw here. We sat inside, but if weather permits, try to get a table on one of the outdoor terraces. The food was nicely presented and just fine. The price is worth it. Personally I am a true foodie and am very picky when it comes to the quality I am getting for the price. I've been to places and spent $80 for a steak with absolutely nothing with it other than just a plain steak. Tonight I paid about $60 for my steak and the plate itself was absolutely gorgeous. Tons of greens and flavors stacked onto my plate like a masterpiece. This is one of those restaurants that you just pay the price for the quality! Drinks were a bit lacking as they only have wine and beer but the meal was just delicious!! I would recommend going towards sunset so you can see all the lights sparkle in the city, it's a great location to set for a late dinner with loved ones. The server was on top of it and was there as soon as I even thought about looking for her to start ordering. Unfortunately we didn't have a reservation so we ordered some take out. Pro tip, don't come without a reservation. First impressions were that the man working behind the front desk was super welcoming and friendly and had a great smile. He took my order, went back to give it to the chef and gave and ETA of 30 minutes. We ordered the 4 cheese pear pasta (wife and myself loved it), Cliffside Salad (fresh), clam chowder (daughter loved it) and the steak burger (pretty good, huge patty). The prices here were not outrageous for what we got. If I had any recommendations, the burger needed some salt or seasoning, that would have made it great. I ended up pouring fry sauce on it which did the trick...lol. We would definitely come back here next time we are in town. read more

Loved this place. We turned up without a reservation at about 1700 on a Saturday. We had a very short wait for a table but they were super accommodating. My husband happen to be working in St George this pass September. We decided to come here to have dinner and catch the Sunset. I stumbled across this restaurant while yelping restaurants with a view in St. George. After reading the reviews we decided to come celebrate the weekend of our wedding anniversary here. I'm so glad we did!! We dined outside on the patio. The view from our table was over looking St. George. The view was absolutely breathtaking! It was so beautiful, and to top it off the the service was outstanding! For our appetizer we ordered the coconut crusted shrimp. The sauce to dip it in had an orange flavor to it. Almost reminded me of a orange marmalade. It was very delicious! We also ordered the Caesar Salad with shaved Parmesan. It came with the perfect amount of dressing. For my meal I had the chili glazed roasted Salmon with a mango salsa, coconut rice pilaf, with vegetables in a lemon butter sauce. My dish was so colorful and flavorful. I came here last year for my anniversary and I must say the food was really good. They view alone while dining on the outside patio overlooking the city of St George makes it worth eating here. I was disappointed by the reception staff to my inquiry about how long before a window table would become available. They were unable even to access the potential wait. A window table opened up 5 minutes after we were seated and two more shortly there after. The food was good but not great and was served cold. The appetizers arrived after the salads. My first time trying this restaurant on my birthday we made a reservation for the view table but our table wasn't ready when we arrived and we didn't get the full view, not that big of a deal but if your wanted to sit close to the view i would call and request and also request when you get there. the calamari was amazing!! mouth watering and Their Italian sodas are huge and taste good. I think we got a new server, only thing i have to say is its nice when a server has confidence and is attentive especially while at such a high end restaurant for St. george. Good food for our main meal however it took so long almost an hour. when my food arrived it was cold. I wondered how it took so long but wasnt warm. My partner and Is food was also served at different times i got my food then the server took another table the drink in his hand then a few minutes later he got his food. it was so good would have been better warm i got a stuffed fish with a creme and capers and veggies. Veggies were underwhelming . I did ask the server if my dish was suppose to be served cold he came back saying The kitchen said the cream cools down the food which i thought was odd sauce wasn't served warm. We were a little disappointed by our server not checking in while the food was taking so long. I am a server and think it can make the situation better when you let your guest know. Then to get cold food. The people who were sat down after us complained their food took to long and wasnt warm either and they just left.
