The latter were super sweet. The donuts were not nearly as sweet as most donuts. I really enjoyed this balance, I could have more than one donut without feeling sick. The service was super quick.

We were in town for a basketball tournament and decided to stop for a sweet treat. We selected a variety of doughnuts, hot chocolate and a very delicious lavender latte. The doughnuts were light and fluffy with just the right about of sweetness. The service was great, definitely a cute spot in a great location.

Service was great, ready to help the customer with wants. Saw the price on the kiosk which was very helpful. Staff were very nice & understanding of the price differences on the donuts/food online then in person. Always use there website & not old unreliable photos or what Google/online tells ya. Their website is always updated as what in house is. The ambiance was relaxing! They also have a great promo on coffee going on right now, so if you catch it. It's a snatched deal!

Lemon Filled Donut (hardly any filling)

$14 bucks for a 12 oz Snicker doodle latte, lemon filled, Bavarian cream, maple old fashion Pros: Overall the donuts were flavorful, fluffy, and delicious. The Bavarian cream had an even amount of filling and was delicious. The lemon filled was airy in flavor but lacked enough filling. Now the star of the show was the snicker doodle latte. It was just sweet enough to enjoy and was made with tender love lol!!! It was soooo good. Overall the donuts are really good. The place and the packaging was clean and cute. The box is a high quality box. Service was great no issues. Cons: The price point for the donuts are extremely high at roughly $3 a pop. There's nothing really special about the donuts to make them this high. It seems you are paying for the nice box and their location because I cant justify spending so much for 1 donut. The lemon donut had very little lemon filling. I took about 3 bites (half of the donut) and didnt have any filling. I took pics for you to see.

This was Stop 2 on the donut tour of Portland, OR, and it was an OK stop. We weren't allowed to go inside this shop (others we were) so we stood outside in the cold waiting for our donuts. Bummer. I wish I could say more but trying to eat donuts, manage the cold, and stand outside with nowhere to set anything down made it hard to take pictures. Nothing was memorable in comparison to the other donut shops on our 4 stop donut tour. Nothing was bad, but not being able to sit and enjoy made a difference on the experience.

Ok, I'm here again! This time I got the Crumbs donut, maple bar and chocolate mochi donuts. And I'm happy to report everything is delicious as usual! Also to my surprise, I arrived at the happy hour. Meaning you get one free donuts towards your purchase, which is totally awesome! Free donut = happiness

Box filled with variety of donuts

After seeing a lot of locations for Coco Donuts around Portland I had to give it a shot and I now I have my go to dessert spot when I'm in town! I got a box with a variety of donuts including their mochi donuts, donut holes, cake donuts, and eclairs. Every single one of them tasted great and had they own distinct flavors. I've only had mochi donuts once before from a proper mochi donut store and these were very close to them. They had that classic chewy texture and a nice sweet icing on top. I really enjoyed the regular donuts as well, they tasted super fresh and soft and the quality of the glaze was really good. The service was also excellent. The person at the counter was very nice and was chatting with the customers. They were polite and gave service with a smile which I always appreciate. Will definitely go again when I'm in the area! Tips: - If you've never had a mochi donut before give it a shot! It has its own unique texture that makes it feel very different from a regular donut - All of their donuts taste amazing so don't be afraid to be a little adventurous!

Loved this donut shop! We stumbled upon it while on a walk. From the outside, I didn't expect much. But the inside interior was a welcoming place to sit and enjoy a donut. We happened to be there at happy hour. With the purchase of one donut, we got another free. This included the apple fritters! The maple bar was fluffy and fresh. This was surprising to me because we were there around 1pm. Sometimes donut shops have what they have from the morning and are often a bit stiff and lose their fluff. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the neighborhood.

While in the area, I stopped in here for a donut to enjoy with some coffee. They have a very nice selection of the typical types of donuts, as well as some interesting and unique ideas. My donut was really good, fresh and definitely not dry. The chocolate was great quality too.

The lady at the counter gets 5 stars but the donuts themselves feel average at best to me . I have had Coco donuts multiple times and I never really cared about the taste much . Also , almost all of my visits here they are out of something or the other and perhaps that's why I might not have tasted their best offerings yet . They do have good beverages especially the Lavender latte. The store is clean and spacious and the staff is always welcoming and friendly .

They rotate flavors often, but Raw Honey & Sea Salt and Cinnamon Sugar are always available. The chai flavors are also excellent, especially the King & I, inspired by Thai pandan tea. It's warm, lightly spiced, and packed with flavor. Consistently delicious, fun seasonal flavors, and always worth the stop. One of my favorite donut shops, hands down.

I just had a chance to interact with their mobile food truck at an event, which was such a fun aspect to the overall event. I got a quad of donuts and a chocolatey chai! Also I will say this: Pip's offers a free birthday dozen, which is incredibly generous gift. My birthday falls around the holidays so I usually can't make it in, but I want to be clear that I have absolutely zero complaints about that. Adults, especially, should never grumble about not receiving a generous freebie. The fact that they offer it at all speaks volumes about the kind of business they are!

They are brioche-based donut with a thick, heavy dough instead of being airy and fluffy. Well, they are unique, but they are definitely not my favorite and they are quite expensive. They're known for creative flavors, but creative does not mean it tastes good. The famous Blueberry Bourbon Basil donut was so doughy and cakey (hard type), blueberry jam was too sweet and completely overpowered the subtle taste of bourbon and basil. The apple fritter was the same, just sweet, doughy, and nothing special. We also tried the Cointreau Crème Brûlée, it is a custard donut comes with an orange liqueur pipette. Because the blueberry donut completely lack of bourbon taste, we actually used that pipette to squeeze the liqueur into the blueberry donut. We had the coffee, they're just average, nothing special. Walking in less than an hour before closing, we were surprised to see most of the items still in stock! We ended up picking four things to try: Vanilla Bean Kouign Amann ($7) - This pasty has a sweet yet salty exterior that's complementary in flavor rather than clashing. It's accentuated with a crunchy glazed and caramelized sugar layer that's on the sweeter side. The interior is interesting. There's a cavernous gap right in the center that's filled with a sickly sweet melted sugar syrup. It's unpleasantly sweet and very cloying. The puffed and filled area is large enough that it compresses the other layers so the kouign amann is dense. I've never had a kouign amann quite this sweet before. (3/5) Meyer Lemon Olive Oil Cake with Thyme ($5.50) - This cake is so moist and rich, thick and dense, fatty and rich, that it feels like I"m eating a slab of butter. I'm sure it has just as many calories too! It's quite sweet, although not nearly to the level of the kouign amann. Overall, it's just a really rich and decadent cake. (4/5) Blueberry + Vanilla Cream Brioche Donut w/ Earl Grey ($6) - The top of the pastry is dressed with a cream that has an unmistakably strong bergomot earl grey taste. I wish there was way more cream - there's essentially only a dab on top! The rest of the donut is filled with a custardy light blueberry and vanilla jam. It's not too sweet and has an excellent high quality blueberry fragrance, creating an exceptionally strong blueberry taste. The jam is not too thick and is somewhat syrupy from sugar. The donut itself is really soft and extremely airy. It's the fluffiest donut I've eaten in a long time. (5/5) Raspberry Rose Cruffin ($8.50) - This pastry has some fun dehydrated raspberries sprinkled right on top of a light and fluffy cream that's not too sweet. The cruffin base is buttery in taste and great lamination even when filled with the custard and rose/raspberry cream. This is a heavy cruffin that's very filling. My mouth is watering describing this now, a true sign I'll be returning to experience this delicacy time and time again. There are three locations of Twisted Croissant in Portland, and this is the only one I've visited. The interior has a classic Parisian bakery vibe, clad in white subway tile from floor to ceiling. The bakery case in front of the store is beautifully stocked with fresh pastries, perfect for enjoying with a cup of coffee or tea. However, be advised, there are only two tables in the back of their public space, so it's not particularly inviting space to sit and enjoy your breakfast. Given the location, I assume there is outdoor seating in the summer months, but don't quote me on that. Regardless, run here if you haven't been. These baked goods are worth the visit!
