The coffee is good. Today I am having the Raven's Blend, which is darker with a little bitterness. Exactly the way they described it, so I appreciate that. Yesterday I had the Guatemalan blend which is brighter. They both met my expectations and my mood of the day. They also offer a variety of pastries and food. I am having the black bean burrito which is good, as I expected in a black bean burrito. So I'm satisfied. I really like the spacious seating area and I am a sucker for exposed brick in a coffee shop. The workers are also very nice. Overall a good experience here in Cincy.

Parking can be difficult but it's definitely worth a visit. It's a huge coffee shop with tons of seating. They have sugar free syrup options so I was able to try their bumble bee with a buzz drink sugar free! The pastries are pretty good. We got carmelitas, Nutella croissant, and lemon poppy bread.

They don't have a lot of parking and it was busy. I went in the morning and couldn't find a parking spot. So I went back a few hours later and I found a spot. It was really busy. The staff was all friendly. The coffee was just ok. I got a cold brew with oat milk and vanilla. It was really sweet. If I was ever in the area I would give them another try but I wouldn't get a cold brew.

This location does have street metered parking. When you walk in, it is a large space but not super loud even though it was busy. There is lots of swag , treats, coffee options and beans to go. There is also a large seating area if you want to work, read or meet a friend. There are several coffee drinks specials and several teas as well as pastries and even a gluten free muffin option. The service was lovely and quick for the long line they were serving. My drink was delicious - I tried the white chocolate truffle with almond milk. I am excited to go back and try another drink on their list.

First time visiting and they did not disappointment. They offer a variety of coffee, non coffee, pastries, grab n go breakfast and even have light lunch options. Their honey bee latte was so good paired with their blueberry muffin. I gave them a 5 star review because their staff deserves some recognition. Their staff was so patient and kind. Even the busy baristas made time to ask each customer how their day was and made time for small talk with each customer. It's clean and spacious filled with cute merchandise. I also love that they are inclusive and have an ADA accessible ramp. Highly recommend!

Nice location with great staff. Parking can be difficult but I like to walk over, anyway. The inside is surprisingly large with plenty of tables to sit at. The food is good too with the drinks being decent.

What a gem - exactly what I'm looking for when I'm traveling for work and need a spot to hunker down in to get stuff done. I discovered this coffee shop on Yelp a few days before I got to town. It was right around the corner from my hotel so it worked out perfectly. I arrived to find a space that's much larger than what I expected. It's got an industrial vibe but with a ton of natural sunlight, and some cozy touches... like plants and strung twinkle lights. There's a large seating area to the right, and a home goods shopping + snacks + bakery items, section to the left. You place your order right in the middle. My coworker and I stayed for quite a while. Because of that, I ordered a handful of different things. I started things out with an iced latte and a gluten free muffin. The coffee was exactly what I was craving but the muffin could have been better. A little later on I got a lavender matcha and that was perfect. One thing to note: There's a 45 minute time limit on their free wifi - but once that time is up you can easily log back in for another 45 minutes. This was kind of annoying considering the "time limit" wasn't truly a limit, but I get the gist. Pro tip - Anytime I stay at a coffee shop for a long period of time, I continue to make purchases, hence me getting another drink a few hours later. I suggest you do too so you're not just taking up space but continuing to support the business while you're at it.

The coffee emporium had a cool, industrial vibe. Lots of people working on their laptops when I stoped by for a cup. Their brewed coffee was pretty good and was well priced. I got a rice crispy treat and it was as expected. Would return!

Delicious coffee and fast service. We ordered a small hot Mock - E- Otto made with oat milk and a 20 ounce iced oat milk white chocolate truffle latte totaling $13 for both. Not too sweet, perfectly balanced both made with high quality coffee.

What a lovely way to end my trip to Cincinnati! Great pastries, light breakfast and easy grab snacks! Love that they have merch for purchase, as well as local favorites. Although there was a decent lined formed when we arrived, it moved swiftly and it wasn't long until we were seated! There is plenty of room to work from here, read a book, chat with friends etc. I will definitely come back if I'm ever in Cincinnati again!

In the mood for some good quality Cinci coffee, I found Coffee Emporium in the searches and decided to check it out. Here's my take on the experience: Quality of coffee and food: Good. I tried their Aztec Warrior which is a mocha with 2 espresso shots and a little bit of cayenne pepper. The drink was smooth, flavorful, and had just the right amount of kick to make it unique. I also got a croissant that tasted like it was freshly baked there. Décor: kinda cool. The place felt like coffee roaster's basement. It is very cozy and dark and the place is filled with wonderful coffee aroma. Cleanliness: good. The tables and general seating area looked clean. Service: great. The person taking the order gave great suggestions for coffee drinks and pastries. Price: reasonable. The coffee was around $6.50 and the pastry was around the same price. If you're up for some good quality hand-crafted coffee and tea drinks then head on over to Coffee Emporium. Parking can be a little bit tricky so plan accordingly.

Excellent coffee and a busy place on a weekday morning when I stopped for my first caffeine. My cortado was excellent and worth paying for as the flow of customers definitely had the baristas working hard. I found a table with a power outlet and was able to connect to their wifi with ease. I stayed about an hour and a half and would have gotten a second coffee except that my parking meter was running out. Cincinnati wants its dollar per hour for sure. Great spot, great coffee. I always proud of their produce, coffee emporium. A gift for friends when I visited. I could find their products in some local grocery but once a while I love to walk in the store. Services were great. The cashier asked me if I wanted a coffee grinder, warm their scones, whipping or whole milk were ok. All did not take long time. You ordered and waited for them to call your name. The line went quick. Parking meters on the street. The pastry looked good. I tried raspberries scone ($3). It was tasty with my cup of Mock-E-Otto (tall $5.50). So the place could treat you if you only want a cup of coffee, take the coffee bean home or a little meal.

Since we were one of the first 1000 attendees that day we received a swag bag that had some coupons and goodies including some stickers and fair trade lip balm. Cool! The coffee selection was diverse and very good. We had never heard of a few of the coffee vendors so it was great trying their coffee and meeting the friendly faces of the owners. There were a few non-coffee business and it was fun tasting their products too. I highly recommend getting a bottle or four of this stuff called beer syrup http://www.thebeersyrupcompany.com/ It will be great on so many things you eat. The latte art throwdown was a cool way for baristas to show off their amazing talent of pouring milk into creative designs. There was a small tv that showed the close up work but most people farther back would not benefit from this. (next year a projector would be great) Like many first festivals in the city, there were some hiccups along the way, but I hope that the producers review the event and correct anything for next year. I could easily see this branching out to include a stronger tea and food/dessert presence. So the negatives: crowded... the Music Hal ballroom is a great place but at most events I've attended here (Crafty Supermarket, Holiday Market), it always seems to clog up in the aisles and people that bring strollers do not help the situation. This event will probably move to the convention center and this will definitely alleviate most of the crowding. Lack of garbage cans. During this event, one samples numerous small cup samples of coffee or tea and then one had to hunt for a can to place the cup. Oh well... So, I hope this event becomes a yearly thing and look forward to attending.

This year's Cincinnati Coffee Festival was hosted at the Duke convention center downtown. Its…read moregrand ballroom turned out to be the perfect sized venue for the festival as it grows year over year. The quality of vendors was top notch. Of course, you will see plenty of light roasts, natural Ethiopians, single origins, etc. But even if you're not obsessed with coffee, there's something for everyone here. A variety of vendors represented related spaces besides coffee as well. For example, tea, chocolate bars, baked goods, drinking chocolate, handmade ceramic goods, etc. A few of my coffee favorites were Tinker Coffee, Yield Coffee Roasters, and Utopian Coffee. But even if Kalita Waves and Chemexes are not your thing, there were blends and darker roasts too. Savorista offered a specialty coffee quality decaf coffee. I haven't seen that before, and it feels like they're onto something. It's kind of analogous to the current bar trend of low-proof / no-proof cocktails. There were interesting options on the coffee alternatives side as well. Saku Tea creates turmeric, matcha, beet, etc mixes that you prepare like matcha with a bowl and whisk. Cup of Coa produces high quality cocoa-based drinks that are hot, cold, or frozen. From "bigger" companies, both Rishi and Natalie's brought new and experimental products. Rishi Tea offered a mushroom "tea" mix. Natalie's Juice sampled cold pressed juice cocktails as good as their orange juice. I also enjoyed the demo section where a couple of baristas from Rohs in Clifton were making and teaching people about (traditional) macchiatos... optionally with glitter on top. The event is well organized, vendors are great, and the ticket price ($15) is very reasonable. I will definitely come back next year.
