Recently visited Coffee MCO and loved the drinks and atmosphere of the cafe. We ordered the Cohen Latte, which had a bold earl grey flavor and was made with oat milk, and the Mason Latte, which was a rich and indulgent blend of brown butter caramel and smoked sea salt. I've never had coffee that tasted quite like them before, but they were surprisingly really good. The vibes of the cafe are also very on-point. I was recommended this coffee shop by one of my friends and I was so excited to try it! I came here on a Sunday morning and while the parking lot was full, the coffee shop had plenty of tables available. there's plenty of seating both inside and outside and this is the perfect place to get some work done or catch up with friends. I ordered their iced Cohen latte and it was delicious. their service was great and the baristas were so kind. the only thing I would say is a downside is that they play their music pretty loudly so if you're looking for a quiet place to study or want to listen to your own music, I would suggest bringing noise canceling headphones of working outside. read more

There is plenty of parking available in their private lot and lots of seating - both indoors/outdoors (roof and downstairs in the shade). I normally go for the regular Latte, but was curious about their specialty coffee. Barista was super friendly and gave me the rundown of their specialties. Coffee MCO's Cohen Latte caught my attention when the barista informed me that this is not your regular tea latte, but house infused earl grey syrup added to the espresso latte. First impression: love the free and big parking lot! Ordered a hojicha latte and was very disappointed that it was premade and just poured into a cup over ice lol. It was about $8 for a 12 oz. size and I would expect for that price to at least have it made fresh... Very disappointed in the quality and price point. It didn't taste that great either. Very nice place with lots of free parking, lots of seating, and great barristas! I love the Cohen and their hojicha lattes. Fast internet is also nice to work with for developers. Their outlets really suck and have no grip so it's tough to charge anything but that's the only negative. A aesthetically pleasing cafe in LA, they have an outside area with wifi and also a second floor to work and relax in. This spot is usually very busy, so hard to find a spot to work in at times. It is dog friendly and the staff were very nice to my dog, gave him treats :) I enjoyed their iced matcha latte and breakfast food (eggs and bacon). Tried it for the first time and unfortunately wasnt happy with the experience. Decided on trying the matcha with houjicha cream top. Its rather on the pricey side coming out to almost $9, and its small cup. I dont know they use ceremonial for it either, i dont think they do. The part that upset me is when I noticed the barista making the drink pouring the cream on top, I saw the cream was running out. Barista was emptying the rest of it, and instead of opening a new container to fill the rest with cream, she added more ice so it could "full"... She barely put any cream, but instead a lot more ice... While the drink tasted good it lasted like 3 sips, cream top finished in 1 sip. Pretty disappointing experience unfortunately. read more

Yup, you can go up the stairs to do work in a more intimate type of setting or even go outside and there's another upstairs outdoor area to sit at with a turf. All beautiful vibes for sure. You can definitely come here to study, do work and/or grab a bite/drink to catch up with friends. It can get busy on the weekends and during peak hours so parking can be hard to find even though it's easy with a lot in the back. There is also street parking right by so you just have to look but it's pretty simple and sweet. The service is great, the workers are super nice, welcoming and helped with some suggestions when I asked. I got a Panini here before and enjoyed it. I'm not really a coffee drinker at all so both times I've visited, I've ordered an Iced Oat Hojicha Latte (tea) and it's never missed for me. Five Stars for parking, especially in ktown! I always get the Matcha here. It's super good. I heard that their coffee is amazing so try that if you were a coffee lover! There is a stair seating and outdoor seating seats in the upstairs do go really fast there are outlets which are really nice. The café itself is very clean and neat. They have some outdoor seating around their cafe, an upstairs loft, which is also connected to an outdoor roof deck with additional seating, and a giant tent full of seating/tables in the lot right next door. Orders: - Chai latte: mostly milk with what i assume to be pre-made chai drizzle. Yummy, but the drizzle from the bottle made me feel cheated somehow since I've been to places where they've made the chai right in front of me. However, modern times and all! - Matcha latte: always delicious, can never go wrong with matcha. - Iced espresso: classic, coffee-licious. - Chocolate chip macadamia nut cookie: Large, fun, perfectly sweet. Although, I actually didn't know there was macadamia nut in it (it looked like a regular choco chip cookie) so I was pleasantly surprised, not being allergic and all. When I was in line later on to order another drink, the lady in front of me ordered the same choco chip cookie and the barista asked if it was OK if it had macadamia nuts in it! I tried to go here midday on a Sunday once and had trouble finding parking, so I ultimately just went to another coffee shop. Today I finally made it in! There is a parking lot and a security person. The security person helped guide me to park today, which I appreciated because when I initially got there the lot was full. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with a cold brew (I can't remember what flavor I added). The breakfast sandwich was delicious. I love runny yoke, and that's what I got. The cold brew was solid. I like that there was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They had heaters at upstairs outdoor seating where my friend and I sat. The tables are a decent size. My friend chose to sit outside because the heat inside was pretty strong, which I totally understand. It's a great place to catch up with a friend and/or get work done. read more

One of my favorite coffee spots to work at during the fall/winter/spring season. NOT summer. I say this because if you're looking for a quieter working spot, the outdoor patio both downstairs and upstairs are great. The indoor upstairs tables are nice for working but is not quiet enough for meetings as music plays inside. While the outdoor areas do have shade, it tends to get warmer depending on the time of day. They do offer umbrellas and such but sometimes it's obviously still toasty. Simple menu with good quality coffee and matcha. I'm not a coffee girl but i do love a good matcha and you can usually tell when people are using premade commercial matcha tea powder or actual food grade matcha. I'm not an expert in matcha, truly but if it tastes like what I attempt at home then it's NOT the good stuff ANYWAY why I also like this place is the brisket burrito. Excellent hearty choice, plus they cut it in half so you can save some of it for later. Jk I ate the whole thing because it was delicious. I ordered a small matcha latte and took it upstairs. there is free wifi available and outlets, but the outlets are only upstairs. that day they were blastingg the AC but my friend told me that isn't normal. they usually play music so bring some noise cancelling headphones if that bothers you. the wifi went out a couple times as well. they do have a parking lot in the back and some tables there. the matcha latte wasn't bad although a little pricey. and it got cold so quickly because it was freezing inside! maybe their other drinks are better but I just didn't have the greatest coffee shop studying experience here sadly read more

We came a bit late in the day to study! The coffee was excellent and there was a surprising amount of seating. There is a parking lot (2 hour limit) with a security guard there. Their restrooms are outside the building - be sure to ask for the code if you need it. I love sitting on the second floor (though, it can get a little warm during the summer months) amidst the colorful windows. They make good tea drinks and decent coffee drinks, though options are fairly limited. Their food isn't bad if you're hungry either, though a drink and sizable food order will run you over $20 easily. I appreciate that they have a dedicated parking lot and someone who helps you park in the very tight spots, but there have been a couple times when the place is so busy and you have to squeeze into a spot with variable confidence. Stopped by here on a Friday afternoon to escape WFH. Got an iced strawberry matcha with oat milk. I really liked my drink and appreciated the freshness of the strawberries in my drink. This place is quite small with seating available upstairs and in the front patio. The parking situation is kinda a mess here with a small free lot that clearly gets filled up fast. Came on a Wednesday afternoon, there is free parking in the back and there was lots of space at the time we came. Wanted to try their matcha and my sister told me they use rockys matcha so I was excited to try this place. We both got matcha lattes with whole milk, it was a 9/10.
