Visited MCO Coffee for the first time and had no idea how spacious and impressive this spot was! There's plenty of seating -- ground level outdoor seating, a full second floor inside, and second floor outdoor seating. Tons of space to hang out, study, or catch up with friends. Definitely Instagram-worthy with its clean and modern aesthetic. We got there around 4 PM on a Saturday and luckily there was no wait. The service was super friendly and attentive -- felt very welcoming! We tried the ube matcha vienna, which my sister loved -- the ube added a fun, creamy twist to the bold matcha. I went for the classic iced matcha latte, which was also on the bolder, more traditional side. I personally like my matcha a little sweeter, so I asked for some sweetener on the side, and once I added it in, it was perfect for my taste. Overall, great experience! I'm was on the hunt to find a spot to do some work and Coffee MCO met that expectation. I went on a Saturday morning and found it was busy. There was a wait to order and for the drink as well. The service was good. I asked the staff for a recommendation on something that wasn't too sweet. I also got my drink within 10 minutes. I got the Cohen Latte and it was exactly as described. For seating, this store was next level. There was plenty of seating available on the 1st floor right outside, which both had shade. If you prefer a non-shade, you can head upstairs to the patio area. I decided to sit on the second floor indoors for the wall outlets. The indoor seats were definitely high priority, especially the ones with outlets. For parking, the store has their own parking lot. It is free, but there is a time limit of 2 hour. The music was slightly loud, so being earphones if you're easily bothered. Overall, I really loved my experience at Coffee MCO and I'd definitely come back again! read more

Out in LA and wanted to try this highly rated coffee shop! Me and my girlfriend are in our matcha era and so we had to give their matcha a try. I got the Strawberry Matcha and my girlfriend got the regular Matcha with Oat Milk and Sweetner. Both tasted amazing. Real strawberries were used for my Matcha and it seriously showed. A great flavor that doesn't taste artificial and was very smooth. Matcha flavor by itself is great, its rich but not too rich and has a very smooth flavor. Refreshing and not too strong. Service is nice, quick and friendly and answered a question I had with thoughtfulness and care. Overall a great spot to stop by for a drink! My new favorite coffee shop. Came here on a whim to get some work done. First off parking was a breeze. There's a huge lot with a 2 hour limit (and an old security guard that regulates it). Ordered one of their specialty drinks the Cohen Latte. Not too sweet. They have a nice upstairs area to park yourself. The space is limited but they have an outdoor area upstairs too with some seating under umbrellas. This was my second time at Coffee MCO but the first time I went was in 2023, so I can't remember what my first impression was. They use a light roast for their espresso (I prefer medium-dark roasts so I was bummed lol), and I ordered an iced cappuccino. It wasn't the worst coffee drink but I definitely didn't love it. Again, it's cause I don't like light roast espresso. Service was fine. Not great not awful. The place has balcony seating which is very nice! Lots of seating outside as well. And a bathroom! And a private parking lot!!! Bonus points for that!!! I don't think I would return for the coffee, but if you're a light roast lover you should totally check this place out. read more

The upper floor is mostly occupied by people with a laptop or some sort of digital device. Most tables against the walls have a wall outlet to charge your phones and laptops but it's hard to find an open spot because most seats will be taken. They have a fairly large outdoor seating one the second floor which comes with heater as well for colder days. There's also a large outdoor seating on the ground floor to the back of the building where the paid parking lot is. The vibe is great. Ordering is quick and the drinks are decently priced. This place was super packed when we got here but plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They have a super cute upstairs seating area and even a balcony. I don't often leave reviews, but I feel this experience absolutely warrants one. This coffee shop has been a go-to for me and my girlfriend for over a year. Never any issues, the staff is incredibly nice and the coffee is DELISH. With that being said, the security guard needs to be put in check. Upon driving into the lot, the security guard simply told us that the lot was full. As we were pulling around to park elsewhere, someone already parked in the lot leaves, leaving a spot open in the lot now. We politely ask the security guard if we can take that spot that just opened up.... The security guard went on to, quite aggressively, SCREAM at us about how he told us "NO PARKING." And when I say screaming, I mean like a literal child throwing a temper tantrum. All we did was politely ask if that spot was now available. If there was an event or something, it was not made clear. Just utter childish, disrespectful behavior on the security guard's part. We left and found a different shop, to our own disappointment. Otherwise, this place is an easy 5 star coffee shop. Until that security guard leaves though, we won't be going back. read more

I've been coming to MCO for the past 3 years and it's definitely one of my go to coffee spots in Koreatown. They have their own secure parking lot at the back and ample inside and especially outside patio seating. I've been on a journey to find the best wfh cafes in LA so I was recommended Coffee MCO. The pros are definitely: -the interior decor/vibe -the free wifi - free parking lot with an attendant -decent amount of outdoor space/seating downstairs and on the rooftop Disclaimer: if you're looking for a wfh cafe where you can hop on calls this is not the place at all. When I say the vibe is a pro, I mean it's a chill spot where you can go and get some mindless work done but they are always blasting their music inside. Brings me to the cons: -music is so loud -small indoor seating space in the lofted area (really need to hop on a table as soon as someone leaves) -coffee is ok -not many outlets if any Please keep in mind, my review is solely based on factors that could make it a great wfh cafe, if I were to rate it on the cafe alone, this place is pretty solid. I think I ordered the Cohen latte cause I asked the barista what is their sweetest latte on the menu and this was recommended. This was not sweet at all, unfortunately I didn't enjoy the latte so I won't be getting that again but there could be something else on the menu I could enjoy. All in all, would I come back? Yes, but only if I want to hangout with friends at a chill cafe, not to get work done and enjoy a cup of coffee. The highlights are the free parking lot with so many spots, security on site to feel safe, a second floor of seating as well as so much outdoor seating that is shaded. We came for a brunch + work session and we were impressed with the selection of savory foods. There was a burrito and many warm sandwiches in addition to all the pastries in the display case. The chicken focaccia is very good. We got two coffees, both weren't too sweet, which is what I like. Never knew such a spacious coffee shop existed in Ktown until I visited Coffee MCO. We walked in, ordered, went upstairs, came back downstairs to a covered outdoor patio, then walked up the outdoors upstairs for additional seating. Just wow. It's a great place to meet friends and chat over coffee. The coffee is quite delicious - I ordered an iced latte special which was perfect on a warm, sunny day. Also ordered the Korean style brisket burrito which was amazing and a good portion. My friend ordered the exact same thing and we gobbled it all up.
