When it comes to customer service, Duane and his team will take care of you. When I was in the market to replace my failed AC unit. Duane quoted me a few options, from fixing, to full HVAC replacement, all at reasonable prices. Since my immediate need was to replace my broken AC unit, that was the option I took. Installation was fast, and easy. 3 months later while selling my home a home inspector found an issue with the AC performance. Duane came by, immediately diagnosed the problem, and fixed it for free on the spot. During the fix he had to work around the furnace to gain access to the evaporator coil. For whatever reason, the furnace stopped operating properly. Duane stayed long after the AC fix to try whatever he could to get it back working. Feeling guilty for possibly affecting the previously working furnace, he offered to come back and replace the unit at no benefit to him, either with a newer used replacement unit (my unit was extremely old) or a brand new unit at cost. Free installation. Due to time constraints I went with a new unit. The end price and overall experience was truly excellent. I had a problem with my Trane furnace not coming on. I suspected it was the igniter, but not certain. I called Connected and made an appointment. David arrived early and in about 5 minutes he confirmed it was the igniter. He stated he would have to go get the part as he didn't have it on his truck. He suggested that I purchase the part online ($23.00). To remove the part only required the removal of a screw and unplugging the igniter. If he did the repair, it would cost in excess of $200. I decided to order the part (received the following day) and make the repair myself. What is notable and admirable is that David refused to take payment for his time, effort, and transportation costs! You don't see that much today from a service contractor. Certainly, everyone is entitled to make a living. I was pleasantly surprised. I will be using Connected Heating and Air again for my HVAC needs. Thank you, David. read more

My wife called Connected Heating and Air to help us out with a problem with the heating system in her old condo that we rent out. The unit has a hydronic heating sytem which apparently not many companies will touch. We called a couple of people to come out and they basically told us to replace the system which was going to cost thousands of dollars. Jerry came out to do a diagnosis to see what the problem was. Right from the beginning I knew that he was much more knowledgeable than the other guys I met that day. Jerry did a very thorough job and was able to isolate the problem down to a bad water pump. Since Jerry didn't work on hydronic systems, he referred us to another technician, David. David explained what needed to be done and we were able to schedule the repair in a couple of days. Had our air conditioning system serviced and am satisfied with the work that David had done. Initially, he noted that I can just manually open the dampers to fix the air flow but also provided an estimate if I were to elect to fix it. That alone says a lot. Our house was warm last night so tried to turn on the air conditioner and the fan came on but not the outside unit so today (Saturday) I called connected Heating and Air and left a message to call me thinking I would need to set up an appointment next week. I received a call back in 10 minutes and was able to setup an appointment 2 hours later. Jerry came and checked everything and we had a blown fuse. I asked him if he could service my air conditioner since we had never had it serviced before. While he was working I thought that maybe he should service our furnace since he was here. He explained to me most newer furnaces are self contained and as long as it is working you don't need to service it . We change our filters every 6 months. He could of said yes I will service it for an extra cost but he didn't. He serviced our unit and besides the fuse everything was good. I am so impressed with this company and will always call them when I have a problem with my heating or cooling system. When my air conditioner eventually poops out I will purchase my new unit thru them. I will be recommending them to my family and friends. read more

I can't say enough good things about Dave Hibbard from Connected Heating and Air. I paid a service fee last week to another AC company, because my AC was barely cool. I was told the fan motor was burned out and that I could either replace the motor, or replace the whole unit. The unit is 24 years old, but the furnace was still working well. I was told that both would need to be replaced. Replacing the fan motor wasn't really encouraged. Dave came out today and within 5 minutes, told me that I needed only a new Capacitor for the Condenser, and my AC is working really well, as is the fan motor. The cost was less than 1/2 of what I would have been to replace the motor. Dave was very knowledgeable, and I will definitely use this Company again!!! read more

Once again Connected Heating & Air came thru with awesome service! Our thermostat stopped working last night. My husband replaced the batteries but that did not fix the problem. We haven't had to call Connected Heating and Air since we had some work done back in 2013 until now. We left a message late last night and Duane called back this morning and he was out here by 11:00am and fixed the problem immediately. Turned out to just be some corrosion on the connections. We purchased a new AC unit from Connected Air in 2015. During the whole process of getting a quote, delivery and installation we were very satisfied with Duane and his team. In 2014 I had an Air Conditioning Fan lose bearings. The Tech From Connected came out replaced the bearings cleaned the blades. He suggested I replace my thermostat with a digital one. I did. 2 days ago the thermostat stopped working (low battery) I replaced the batteries still did not work. I called Connected and and talked to Duane. I had know idea who Duane was. Maybe an employee? He showed up and looked at the thermostat removed the face plate worked his magic and WALA it worked. I cant begin to tell you what a wonderful service he provided my wife and I! Jerry came out twice to fix my heater but he wasn't able to fix it - said I would need a new furnace, which I can't afford right now. But regardless, giving him a full 5-stars because not only was he perfectly on time - but they told me he would show up between 9-11 and both times, he was a few min before 9. Also - he did not charge me for the service call either time. 1st time, it just seemed to start working without him doing anything but the 2nd time, he installed a new circuit board and it still didn't work because he said I'd just need a new furnace. read more

I had an old heating furnace that was rusted out and broken in my tenant's place. I was told it was blowing carbon monoxide into the house and needed to be replaced immediately. Another company quoted me double what Duane ended up doing it for. Plus when I told him it was an emergency, he came out the same day to give me a quote, and had all the work completed the next afternoon! Duane is awesome. I called Duane and he forwarded me to his partner Jerry to come and fix my air conditioning unit. Jerry was a really nice guy and he came out and said he fixed the ac unit. Then after he charged me $95, now keep in mind we didn't talk price first. I thought that was expensive since he spent about 30 minutes working..then he told me that he could come back and replace all the ducts in my home and maximize the air conditioning and heaters...he said that would cost me $265. I said okay. I handed him $100 and told him to give me a $5 credit on the next job for $265. Then he left and of course the unit broke the next day..there was water again stuck in the ac unit. Jerry came back the next day after I called and said he was sure it was something else and he fixed that (no charge). The following week the same problem happened...water in the ac unit. Then, he came on a saturday to fix all the vents and he said he would fix the ac unit. He basically just replaced four vents and this time he found out that the water drainage was blocked up which is what was causing the water to back flow into the ac unit. So he pumped gas into it to blow it all out and he added a backup pipe so that if there is any overflow next time it the problem would not happen again. I think after three tries he got it fixed each time telling me he was 100% sure that the problem was fixed...then I paid him $300..bear in mind the quote was for $265 and I had a $5 credit from before....so I was supposed to get back $40 but he said because he used extra tape he had to charge me the extra $40. I think that was not right of Jerry to do. A quote is a quote. The fact that I went many days without heating or ac because he misdiagnosed the problem two times was a hassle for me and I think Jerry should be a man of his word and not have charged me the $40 extra. Everything works fine now. I don't think it was worth the $300 I ended up paying on a $265 quote just to change the air vents which I could have done myself and I think they should send me back the extra amount I paid to Jerry as a quote is a quote and just because he uses extra tape that costs almost nothing, is no reason to charge me $40 extra and not keep your word. Duane, if you read this, please send me back the extra amount. read more

My air conditioner stopped working on Saturday night, just before the latest round of ridiculously hot weather. I found Connected on Yelp and decided to give them a try. Jerry returned my call and made arrangements to meet me on Monday after work. He was AWESOME! He had my air conditioner repaired and cooling my insanely hot house in no time! Not happy about the price. The technician was good and knowledgeable and he came on the same day we called. HOWEVER, we were charged $260 to replace an AC capacitor. We asked the technician for a breakdown but he didn't seem wanting to provide it. He only said the cost of the part depends on where you get it (well, of course...but not even providing a range??). After the guy left, we checked online. The part was only $40 for the exact same type. The website advertised that it's free repair estimate. I don't know about the brand but unless they can prove to me that they use an expensive brand capacitor, we have been charged $220 for labor?!!! THIS IS REDICULUS!!! A complete RIP OFF!!! read more

I told her no problem I'd like to make an appointment for your next available opening. She then stated they actually don't make appointments that far out because people flake and don't show.
