I absolutely enjoyed this Louisiana style restaurant. The Parmesan chicken is tasty as can be and the customer service was excellent.

I went to this Copelands last night with a party of eleven people.The front end service was poor,the waiter was not at all able to handle a large party. I had to keep asking for things such as a high chair for my baby, condiments, and extra napkins.Not to mention the seemed to get a little aggrevated when i had to send back a couple. items.As far as the food goes was ok ,not very hot though.I had the gumbo it wasn't a real gumbo to me,it was ok.I mentioned to the waiter that we were celebrating a birthday ,they did nothing to acknowledge that either. Lastly when we got ready to leave no one from management bothered to ask how our dining experience went. I more than likely won't go to this resturant again. read more

The service was amazing in super quick. They provided us dinner within 10 minutes because he told in that we had just a few minutes to grab something to eat before watching a movie and me made it happen. The sunday brunch here is sooo good. So much to choose from. There is something for everyone. It's buffet style so you can eat as much or as little as you want. They also have a band playing. It's worth the money and the drive if you don't live close by. Only downside is it gets packed quickly. Never been disappointed with the food here. We ate at Copeland's as a family for the second time and had a wonderful experience. The staff (particularly Daniel our server) were wonderfully attentive. The biscuits are the best in town. The food was fab! I ordered a bit outside the lines of traditional New Orleans cuisine and was pleasantly surprised at how good the filet mignon was. The desserts are to die for. I recommend the cheesecake, which comes in a wide variety of flavors. The only improvement I would suggest is the children's meal portions are a bit on the small size. We had to supplement with extra biscuits to fill up our 8 year old. Overall though Copeland's is a wonderful, family friendly dining experience. read more

I went to Copeland's for lunch Tuesday . My server was Donna , from the very beginning her service was horrible. We sat forever at out table with no waters. When she came over to greet us she was very quick and rude. No introduction. She kept trying to rush us to order. When she brought our appetizers over to the table she kept slammimg down onto the table. She has no hospitality at all. When I went to speak to the manner Ish. He had no type of care. He didn't listen to what I said , my point wasn't valid. He just kept saying that Donna had been here the longest and was his best server. He automatically said " ohh I'll discount the check " which was even more rude. He only seem to listen to me when I told him 3 peoole are my table were industry people and we knew her service was horrible. Ish shouldn't be a manger he lacked the empathy and support to do. After the meal Donna came and told us why her service was beyond mediocre, which added to the disrespect from her poor service. Either they need to train their employees better or hire more staff. This was my only day off from serving other people and I wanted to enjoy it with my family and it was ruined. read more

Went Friday night with some friends. The service and food was very good, but our experience was completely overshadowed by their live entertainment that evening. A solo saxophonist was performing. He was loud and not very good. It was hard to have a conversation over the noise. I would go back as long as they don't have live music. read more

I love New Orleans and all things Nawlins, especially the food. That being said, I was very disappointed with the Sunday brunch. The live music, though a nice touch, was way too loud. We were em seared off the buffet behind the double doors, which were open and we struggled to talk to one another without screaming. Jazz brunch should feel mellow, not crazy hyper! Our waiter was totally lackadaisical, encouraging us to just order the buffet because it's busy and Sunday. And, discouraging certain drink orders, such as a Champagne Cocktail because he used to be a bartender and didn't know if the bartender knew how to make it. After providing the ingredients, guess what: still wrong! Guess he told me, huh! Lol The Pina Colada ordered by someone else in my party with raspberry liquor was a disaster. The waiter actually argued with her about taking it off the bill, even though she didn't accept or taste the drink!! Seriously? The service was inconsistent, dishes rarely cleared, drinks refilled for some and. not others. Of course, near the end of the meal, he became nicer, refilling drinks and complimenting us. Too little too late mister mediocre service! Oh, yeah, back to the food, while the buffet variety was good, the food was absolutely unremarkable and generally flavorless. The deserts looked better than they tasted, which is good for my waistline! The ham was dry and sadly there were just a few New Orleans specialties on the buffet. Where was the gumbo, shrimp and grits and good jambalaya? cheese grits were tasty. I won't be back and I don't recommend. Atlanta has much better options to spend $25 for a buffet and $8 for a bad cocktail!! read more

I usually order the same thing when I go. Sometimes take out. Its always good, so kudos to the chef for being consistent. The staff that I have personally dealt with have been polite and well mannered so far. I have no complaints with this place so far, tho I do miss the Piedmont location by the movie theatre. But they closed down which is too bad because they had the best location and a nice outdoor patio. read more

Highly disappointed with their take out catering options. Not enough food! I assisted to coordinate a Thanksgiving office pot luck, where the employees bring the sides and the company provides the meat. There were 14 of us in the office. So we ordered turkey and ham: - Half tray of turkey with dressing, serves 8-10: $69.95 - Half Tray of ham, serves 8-10: $39.95 When we brought the trays back and opened them, we immediately knew it would not be enough meat and made sure that we only took one slice per person. And, we still ran out. The turkey was on a bed of dressing. But, the dressing took up most of the pan. On top, were a few slices of very dry turkey. Maybe a pound of meat at best? For nearly $70, we expected more. The ham wasn't much better, the slices of ham were swimming in a fatty liquid. The slices were not robust slices, rather small chips of ham, like scraps, Each piece having fat attached, and only measuring maybe 1/2" x 2". Again, if we were able to weigh the pan without the liquid, I bet we barely had a pound to a pound and a half of meat. The ham was tasty, but the portions were terribly small. I was going to order from Copeland's for my personal holiday needs, but after this experience, I decided to give Honey Baked Ham a try and so glad I did! I ordered their 2.5 to 3lb sliced turkey breast entree. It was juicy and easily triple the amount of food Copeland's provided, and it was only $22!!! I will not use Copeland's again for our office, nor my personal needs. What a shame, because their in-house dining is good, but their take out is a total failure. read more

Only been to the Sunday brunch and I enjoyed the atmosphere and food. Live jazz music with great selection of food. I believe the price was 20.00 not including a drink. The Sunday and Saturday brunch are different. Saturday is cheaper but doesn't have same selection as Sunday. The place is packed in Sunday. I usually over eat because I want to try everything. Mom my brought me here after a day of shopping. I got the crab cakes and shrimp Alfredo and I would say the food was eh... I wouldn't go out of my way to come back here. I will say I had the best service that I've had in Atlanta so far here. That's a huge plus. read more

Went to brunch buffet today with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday...most of the food was bland...not how I remember Copeland's...what was most disappointing is their shady bar...I ordered a brandy Alexander....but clearly the bartender did not know how to make it....it was brandy with a dab of creme de cacao....it was the wrong consistency and since it wasn't made/ mixed correctly, it tasted horribly....don't charge 12 for a drink if you don't know how to make it! just recommend something else......I don't like sending food back, and the service was already slow, so I tolerated the drink and paid my bill....but I don't appreciate being ripped off.....used to enjoy Copeland's, had a great time with my friends- which is always good.....but I won't be going back.... read more

What an amazing experience! I brought my cousin to Copeland's for her birthday. What a terrific vibe in the bar area. There was a DJ spinning a nice variety of music old and new. Now the food. Absolutely fabulous. I had the salmon salad with A delicious vinaigrette. She had the blackened catfish that she raved about all weekend. Pretty much a disappointed me all the way around. Should have researched it a bit more as we usually avoid chains and restaurant groups. Service was awful. I will say it was probably only our waiter but that is a management issue. He was clueless and had to customer service skills or personality. The food was ok at best. Really no taste. The cajun jumbo had two pieces of protein.....2 tiny crawfish tails. The ravioli did not seem fresh (frozen???). The chicken parm had no taste at all. read more
