I Eat here frequently ... but this most recent time I've found several pieces of hard/sharp plastic in the chicken tika masala. :/ I'm sad because I love the food here but why did this even happen. At first I found 1 piece which was weird and thought maybe I had dropped one in there somehow. But I continued to find several more pieces. We love Indian food. We were excited to try this place and we were not disappointed. The cheesy garlic Naan is amazing. I had the paneer dumpling in coconut creme sauce. My husband Matt had the chili chicken which is not to spicy and was great along with the butter chicken. We came a couple nights ago and I am already ordering a to go for tonight. To bad we don't live in Colorado or I would be coming back often. The staff is so nice. You can tell they take pride in where they work. They want you to have a great experience eating there and seem truly pleased when you like the food. Thanks for a great dinner the other night. I will be ordering the samosas and Dal soup tonight. This is not an authentic Indian place. The biriyani was a joke- a rice dish with shrimp but definitely can't be called biriyani. The raitha was pseudo Indian and the Salna that comes with a biriyani was a chili sauce!!!!!!!! The reason I've given 3 stars was because it tastes okay and the quantity was decent. read more

I ordered delivery to my hotel while visit Denver for Memorial Day. I ordered the Gobi Manchurian, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Basmati Rice. I was not a fan of the Gobi Manchurian. I expected something entirely different. I expected more of a breaded dish but it's my fault because I never had this type of cauliflower before but I have had deep-fried, crunchy cauliflower dishes in the past. The Chicken Tikka Masala was good. There was 5 ore less large chunks of chicken and it was mostly sauce. You'd like I ordered shrimp, LOL! Most restaurants are very stingy with shrimp but I'm not sure why they were stingy with the chicken. They gave me plenty of rice, though, almost too much. The Gobi Manchurian was just not my thing, but everything else was served hot/warm and was great. read more

Ok so not only did this place stay open during the pandemic, the quality of their food never wavered. Their food is always delicious. I've ordered 10+ times since moving to GVR. I love the shrimp 65 and the cauliflower appetizers, they have the best masala in Denver, and I'm getting more and more variety each time I order. Excellent quality. We are so fortunate to have a local restaurant that isn't a chain in an area plagued by chains and fast food (we have 6+ and counting fried chicken restaurants. ) Had an issue with delivery via Uber eats and they cancelled. Called the restaurant, let them know there was an issue, went and picked it up myself with absolutely no trouble. Thanks again! I am 35 minutes drive from this place. I ordered through GrubHub and it took and hour to arrived. It's understandable and it's given. I ordered Shrimp Masala and Vegetable Korma. It came in well packaged containers. Not leaks not blazing hot. It's tasty even you don't go up with the normal spice level. Shrimp and vegetable are well cooked but nor overcooked. Don't usually write reviews, but was quite underwhelmed by my experience here. Based on the good reviews, decided to have dinner here tonight before heading to the airport, but I was unimpressed. Service was decent, but the food was overpriced (close to NYC level), especially since the portions were small and it was terribly underseasoned. We got the gobi manchurian - the cauliflower itself was very crispy and nicely done, but the sauce was lacking flavor. The garlic roti had visible chunks of garlic but no garlic flavor whatsoever. Finally, the saag paneer portion size was small with a scanty 4-5 cubes of paneer. Even worse, it was bland - we had to add salt and still felt like it was lacking spice. Not sure how food could go out like this. Maybe our experience was the aberration, but what we had today wasn't good Indian food. read more

Low-key, little to no frills, but yummy! Interesting menu items (ex. Amritsari fish, Coriander bullet naan) I've never experienced before, delicious takes on favorites (spicy vindaloo!), and very nice, conscientious servers/wait staff. This place is incredible. Indian food at its absolute best. The sauces were all different and so fresh, not the usually flavored sauces that seem to be recycled at each Indian restaurant. My 12 year old son is still talking about it! The tandoori meats were all perfectly prepared, not at all dry. The owner came to check on our experience and was very kind and friendly. I think Yelp is getting really good at suggesting restaurants that work for my family. We ordered for plain naan, cheesy garlic naan, malai kofta, Aloo gobi and matar paneer. All the items were excellent. I was pleasantly surprised by the number of paneer pieces that they had included in matar paneer. Surely a restaurant that is not trying to nickel and dime you. The waitress was nice and explained all the ingredients in the dish and made us feel very comfortable with our choices. Added benefit is that it is very close to the Denver International Airport. If you want some spicy food Coriander's is the place. I have a high tolerance for spicy food and it's hard to find a place that can satisfy my appetite. We were a group of 8 coming in for a work lunch. They took a reservation for us so we didn't have to wait to be seated. It was pretty empty walking in around 11:45 and then everyone started showing up (I guess they heard it's good). The inside is warm with interesting and appropriate decor. The music was somewhat club music at that time, but it was Friday so it worked for me! Our waitresses were very attentive to our needs, quick to refill our water, take our orders, and so kind to split up our messy check! The lunch special is a GREAT deal! Will you be full if you eat all of your food? Yes, please plan a nap time ahead accordingly. Will you accidentally over stuff yourself when you decide to splurge on Garlic Naan (which is an extra dollar with a meal)? YES! Will you want to stuff your pockets and bags with any Naan that didn't make it into your stomach? Yes, but I guess that's not advisable. I got the Chicken Korma, it had great flavor! I got the mild--just because I'm always afraid to level up at a new place. Next time I will definitely ask for medium-mild is great for anyone who doesn't want spice. VEGAN OPTIONS! Really happy with our order! I did call to ask about vegan options and the guy I talked to was helpful and informed me that their website menu has a "V" next to all vegan options. Super thankful, this makes ordering sooo much easier! They also offer a lot of gluten free options, labeled as "GF" on their menu. Their pakoras and samosas are super good! Portions are generous-- we ordered 2 entrees, pakoras (4 pieces), samosas (2 pieces) and roti and we have enough left for another meal. We will definitely be ordering from here again! read more

I was really excited when I found that Coriander was close to my neighborhood and decided to do a take out order: Butter Chicken and garlic naan. When I went to go pick up my order, my first impression of stepping into the restaurant is that it's really cute! I wouldn't mind doing dine-in here and trying the food straight from the kitchen in the future. My review of the butter chicken is that it was just alright.. nothing special. For some reason, the flavor from the butter chicken wasn't at all what I was expecting because it was heavier on the tomato flavor. The garlic naan was very garlicky and I loved it. Hear what I'm about to say.. Coriander will become the next family name, Indian restaurant in the state of Colorado. The cuisine is inspired by the North of India providing the foreign tongue with a palate of flavors brought from the Old Silk Road where men traded thier lives to obtain cumin, turmeric powder and "coriander" , ect . . . The Service is defined by the roster of amiable servers. The recommendations each server gives the novice in Indian cuisine is satiable. However, watch out for Samjhana, she will try and upsell the also satiable collection of spirits at the bar where playoff games and Bollywood are often watched. ;) ;) The only criticism I have for this future family name will be directed at the decor. Although, there is original pieces that give the feel of India present, such as a taxi that is still employed today, I suggest management add some textures that come from the north in style and mosaic to fill the space that feeds the many. Craving Indian and remembered a friend mentioning this place. Ordered biryani and saag paneer. As a midwesterner it's odd to say, but saag paneer is a staple comfort food for me. It's my litmus test for an Indian place. They passed with flying colors! Then the biryani.... It was amazing and more than enough for two people!
