We just can't get enough of this place! My family and I frequent this place often. The servers here are all friendly. Michelle is the server I always ask for due to her attentiveness, and the laughter she brings to the table. Michelle has become a part of the Corky's experience; she knows our drinks by heart & we never have to worry about our coffee getting cold, she also makes sure we have plenty of there delicious salsa for our breakfast burritos. Not to mention their food portions are huge, so if you don't have much of an appetite you can share with a friend or have a meal for later. We cannot give enough praise to Michelle for the service she offers consistently! read more

Diane was our server and she was amazing! This was our first time at Corky's and the food was off the charts delicious. My only complaint is that it isn't bigger, haha. It's busy, but that is because it's quality food and everyone enjoys the meals and diner ambiance. The serving sizes were generous and the food came promptly as ordered. As soon as you walk in, everyone is so warm and kind. Everything on the menu sounded delicious, I couldn't decide what I wanted - - I wanted everything. Our server was Gabby and she was such a sweetheart! I asked what she recommends and she let me know the fish and chips is VERY popular. The last year with Covid and the start of this one hasn't been a dreadful one, and in fact that service and food has been great as usual. Now, there seems to be that there is that once in a while occasion where you don't have a good day at a place, and this is that occasion. Last time I posted a negative review was because that time the day was bad, out of the normally pleasant others I have. This time? It was more frustrating that anything. Let me start by saying that, it was a busy day, so I don't discard the fact that everyone was busy and rushing around the get the orders in and out. However, that doesn't excuse the fact that my waitress (whom I won't mention just to avoid throwing her under the bus) not only didn't let me finish my damn order as I told her what I wanted (and we'll touch up on my order shortly), but I essentially had to bother the supervisor or manager helping them out for other stuff, just to get some sort of further assistance, like more napkins and my lemons which I asked for earlier but never got. Now, we get to the order, which was almost an infuriating embarrassment. My last review contained an important problem with the quesadilla, and that was how it lacked CHEESE. You know, the point of a quesadilla? Guess what? This also didn't come any cheese, and it's a recurring problem, because not only was I unable to remind her to please make sure they added cheese to it (something I made a habit out of when I order it from here), but I couldn't even tell her to please make sure they went easy on the hashbrowns, because damn do they like STUFFING IT like a turkey with the stuff. There's more potato in it than actual cheese. The fact that I have to remind them to please make sure they ADD CHEESE onto a QUESADILLA tells you it doesn't get done (and I've sometimes been charged for it because they think I'm asking for extra cheese). Hell the only server there who I don't have to remind to do it, wasn't working there today, and she rarely goofs up our orders too (and her name tragically slips my mind right now, because she deserves praise). Next, as I'm TRYING to eat it, the damn quesadilla FALLS APART as I'm trying to carefully eat it, and now I have what looks like a casserole in front of me. Again, if you can't add enough cheese to hold the ingredients together, don't call it a quesadilla. It's outright embarrassing that I had to eat this with a fork. So once again, I normally don't complain here because it's always pleasant, but damn, being busy doesn't excuse not letting me complete my order or even the lack of cheese in a QUESADILLA, and that it damn fell apart. Yeah, I'm actually upset about it for once, and I didn't tell the supervisor or manager because last she needed to hear was complaining on a busy day, and I didn't expect free stuff in return for it either. Either they need to start getting their stuff together, or I'm just going to be forced to go to another Corky's in the future, because it's ridiculous that the food has to be specially instructed to come out the right way, and that specific servers there don't put in the effort to listen to the damn customer. read more

We decided to give them another try as I was craving for their Hobo Skillet and I wanted to try their Eggs Benedict. Came in around 9am and it was pretty packed already. We were greeted by a friendly young lady who sat us down at a table right away. Our waitress Michelle was outstanding. We received the best service ever. She was friendly and attentive. The food did not take long to arrive even though they were busy. Their French Toast was amazingly good. The bread was thick with a crispy outside but still doughy in the middle at the same time and had great flavor. The Eggs Benedict had a thick ham slice which was yummy but I wish it was a tad bit thinner as the English muffin on the bottom was too thin. The English muffin was a little crispy which was nice but it would have been better if it was a thicker bread. The hollandaise sauce had a good flavor with a tangy taste to it. The egg was slightly overcooked and wasn't over easy like it should be. The Hobo Skillet was delicious with the extra crispy home fries. It's packed with ham, bacon, mushrooms, green peppers, chili, eggs and cheese. The biscuits and gravy was a huge disappointment. Gravy lacked flavor and was very bland. Attempted to make it better by adding salt but it didn't help. Definitely will ask for a different side next time. Portion size is big and prices are a bit high but quality of food has improved since our last visit. We are happy to say it was well worth every penny we spent here today. We even took home a mini strawberry pie so I can't wait to try it. read more

I've been here ALL THE TIME. The food is great, desserts are awesome, bakery's the best. BUT the only thing I don't like every time I'm here is the SLOW Serving time. Whether dine in or take out, even with just slice of cake THEY SERVE IT SO SLOW. It takes atleast 20-45 mins. If dine in atleast an hour! What's up Yelpers? Hope everyone is looking forward to eat. I sure I'm . Today's review will be on Corky's Kitchen & Bakery. The following review will be broken into categories: food, service,environment, price and overall thoughts. Enjoy! Food: I was in search of carrot cake and saw a picture of carrot cake cupcakes on Yelp and was like I'm heading there. Lol. But to my demise they didn't have carrot cake according to the waitress who've been working there for years. I double checked the picture and it was over 8 years old. . Lesson learned, look at the dates of reviews. Anyways I decided to be fat and order a Philly cheese steak sandwich, potato salad, steak fries, Reese cheesecake and banana cream pie. The Philly cheese steak which included a steak, bell peppers, onion, Swiss cheese all on a French roll. The sandwich was okay. I felt it had more veggies than meat and the bread a bit tough on the bottom. (3 stars) The potato salad was also only okay. (3 stars) the steak fries were surprisingly tasty. They were simple but had the right amount of salt, I didn't use ketchup at all. (4 stars) Now to the best part which was the Reese cheesecake that had layers of cheesecake, Reese cup pieces, peanut butter, whip cream and a chocolate bottom was just amazing. (5 stars) And let's not forget about the banana cream pie. That thing was so delicious I wish I had room for another piece. (5 stars) Service: I came in and was greeted by three staff members throughout my time there. Everyone was friendly and helpful. They all seemed to be doing something which I find to be a good thing. (4 stars) Environment: The Corkys is located on the corner of the Stater Brothers grocery store in a shopping complex. The place has plenty of parking. I did not eat at the actual establishment but did notice it to be clean. There was the hostess who swept and kept busy. The place gave me old diner vibes with the type of seating they had. I went on a Monday around 11am and they had plenty of guests. (4 stars) Price: The price for the sandwich and sides came up to about $12 bucks which I believe to be little high for the quality. The cake and pie were around $5-7 bucks each. I think the taste makes up for the price and is comparable to other establishments like Cheesecake Factory. (4 stars) Overall thoughts: Although the sandwich was decent, the deserts made up for it. I would definitely come back to try other items while smashing the banana cream pie. I have never left a review anywhere but after visiting there I have to put a review so people are at least aware of what they're getting into. we got seated and werent even talked to and when finally approached we were given the nastiest attitude and when asked questions we were given one of the two responses, uhh ok or a straight up no. and another lady would come and just slam your food on the table and walk away or just take a plate and slam it in a tray of dishes then for the rest of time was slamming around dishes in a tray in an upset attitude. there were so many things wrong with the customer service and the atmosphere felt so unwelcoming as if we were a bother to all the workers. Came in for a single slice of cheesecake to go as I was on my lunch break, the cashier at the front just straight up ignored me for 10 minutes and began to sit people that came in after I did (I really don't want to make this a racism thing, not the kind of 50's style diner I wanted to give my patronage to). The young cashier then took my payment and proceeded to sit more people down, at this point it's been 20 minutes waiting for one slice of cheesecake that's already been paid for, which is ridiculous.
