I really would not recommend this location. The customer service and wait time is beyond horrible. I waited for approximately 20 minutes (at my booth) before I decided to just leave the restaurant. (Within the 20 minutes of waiting, no staff member offered drinks, food order, or even a "how are you"). I spoke to a representative by the name of Kayla who claimed she was the GM (General Manager) of the particular location, but when asking for her last name Kayla ignored and/or refused to give me her last name. As a GM you are supposed to correct and address potential problems for the company and especially for your location you oversee. I maybe wrong, but I highly doubt Kayla was the actual GM. If so, I think Corky's needed to analyze who they select to represent them as a company. Go there at your own risk, but I can guarantee there are other breakfast places with better service to the company and especially the customer. This was my first attempt to dine at a Corky's restaurant, and I will never try again. Just a total turn-off. I would not even give this 1 star if I had a choice. Parking - located in a big shopping area so kind of limited it's a very busy location. Location- very spacious and open seating plan. No private group areas. It's a diner and down home kind of atmosphere, casual and yummy smells coming from the bakery. Family friendly establishment. Food/pricing- you get a lot of bang for your buck. The portions are more than generous. Since this was my first time here at the recommendation of our server, we ordered breakfast plate, lunch sandwich, chicken tenders and of course had to try the pie. The pancakes were thick and fluffy. Crispy bacon and eggs not over cooked/soft. The chicken tenders I can see why they are known for them. It's a very thin layering and bathed in buttermilk prior to frying. It was so good alone and with sauce. Not to spicy like some other places perfect for kids too. The blt was spilling with bacon and not dry. I like a good serving of mayo and fresh veg. Lastly, I still dream about this pie We tried the chocolate cream peanut butter pie. It hits every note you want, creamy, salty, sweet, crunchy and light whipped texture. Experience- you feel like your at home. Lots of laughter, clinking of utensils and the smells are so good! I'll preface this by saying I've frequented this location many times over the years and never had this problem, but today's experience was frustrating enough to prompt this review. Now then, on to the fun. What began as a simple takeout order for breakfast this morning turned into a waste of a morning and a very disappointing experience. I ordered breakfast burrito and an order of pancakes with chocolate chips - nothing earth shattering. I ordered them at 10:33 am and got a confirmation back with an estimated pickup time of 11:03. I understand these times are estimated by an algorithm, so I have grace for such things. I arrived at about 11:05 and inquired after my order. I was told it wasn't quite ready and would be another 10 minutes or so - no problem at all, but things continued to go downhill from there. After checking in with the staff a few more times, I was informed that they were down a chef. I continued to wait patiently, trying to be understanding that they were short handed and also clearly very busy, but my breakfast order was well on its way to becoming lunch. Finally, I asked to speak to a manager, because no one was giving me a straight answer about when my order would be ready. And here's where everything finally made sense. The staff were all visibly stressed, explaining wait times very awkwardly to incoming guests, other guests who'd arrived after me receiving their orders while I still waited, vague estimations of when my order would be ready...come to find out the kitchen messed up my order and had to redo it. The manager explained this to me, and while she seemed apologetic enough, but even after explaining how long I had been waiting, she offered nothing at all to make it right. In similar situations, I've had everything from free appetizers and coupons for next time to entire meals comped, but this time - as I waited an hour and a half for something that could have been remade at least 5 times in that span - not a thing. My conclusion? Bad manager. She definitely didn't have a handle on the situation. She wasn't encouraging her staff or leading effectively to get them through the ordeal, and while there, I saw a number of other patrons leave in frustration, some canceling orders. All this said, my food, once I finally got it, was great and freshly prepared minutes before it was given to me. I'd like to go back. I like this place. But a change of management is in order. It's a high traffic location. Team members will call out sometimes. You need a manager that can rally the team and get them through it without hemorrhaging customers. ADDENDUM: several days after originally posting this review, I received a message from Corky's in reply here on Yelp assuring me a member of their executive team would be contacting me. I have followed up three times now waiting for this to actually take place and all that has actually transpired is the exchanging of more empty words. I've received nothing in the way of reprieve for my experience, and now, quite frankly, they've wasted even more or my time and it would take a miracle for me to want to visit this location again. I really have very little patience for people who over-promise and under-deliver, so I may write off the entire chain. It's not like I can't just go to Denny's and get similar food. This review is strictly for the Snicker Pie I purchased on 12/31/21. It was TERRIBLE! Just a hard Oreo cookie crust, some chocolate pudding, and TONS of whipped cream for $14.99. Very disappointed compared to the Snicker Pie I purchase a few years ago. That one had a delicious crust, a smooth and creamy peanut filling with nuts and caramel, and was so tasty. It's sad that you had to downgrade the ingredients of this pie, and that you no long have your "$9.99 Pie of the Month." Needless to say, I won't be purchasing pies anymore :-( read more

Ordered 4 meals and they got 2/4 wrong!!! So frustrating. We had two patty melts one on Sour Dough one on rye, and one with no onions. Got both with Rye bread and onions! Also, ordered a BLT, no tomato. Got home and opened the box to find tomato all over it and no lettuce! It was not even crowded in the restaurant when we picked up the food! I've been coming here for years. I love the food and all the people there. Jerry is the best btw! She always makes us feel so welcome.

We rolled into town at 11pm and this was the only place open. Sux everything in corona closes at 10pm. Anyway its decor is very bland just a cement floor and tables but Im not too worried about that. Service was good although the waitress did forget our drink refills. Food was good we had the hot open turkey sandwiches. For desert we had coconut cream pie and omg it was delicious. I would recommend coming just for pie if you get a sweet tooth. The place will not be winning any awards anytime soon but food is decent and staff is friendly. read more

I would give it a 3.5 Overall, most of the food there from what ive eaten, i can tell is pretty good. However, the really big problem with this place is the service. A lot of the time, we get our order with something being wrong with it. Or, mostly in the morning. The service is very slow when it should have the same amount of workers at all times. Great service this morning with Valeria! Kudos to her! The French toast (loaf combo) is 6 thick moist slices with 2 fresh cracked eggs (not the powdered kind) and 2 crispy bacon. The price is 13.99. Yes it's a bit steep for breakfast. But it's quality is there compared to Denny's or IHOP. And Yes the service is a bit long once you are seated. The waitress are way too slow that you see them walking slowly and taking their time to greet and get the food out. You have to get their attention or else they will walk right past you several times. Unless you get Valeria, she is the only one that will stop every time she walks past you. Can I just say I wish I went here sooner? I actually sent my brother here before I went myself and he told me he absolutely loved it. Portions here are fairly large. You'll definitely have a hard time finishing your food here, and if you don't, don't worry. They have some AMAZING pies here for you for dessert. My mouth is watering as I give this review. We were both happy with our lunch items. Mr. B had a hot turkey sandwich (they roast their own turkey) with slightly lumpy mashed potatoes (a winner in my book).....I had a steak sandwich which they cooked to perfection. Maybe not a top of the line steak, but still good. Soup of the day was chicken noodle, with large chunks of chicken breast and fresh veggies. Not a homemade broth, but a soup that was satisfying and flavorful with hints of herbs, and one that they created in their own kitchen. They are better known for their breakfasts, but I might consider a chicken or turkey pot pie dinner, and their fish and chips is a good one, too. Dinner starts at 3 pm. I only became aware recently that this place existed a few months ago. I met up with Yelp buddy Joe G. at this place for breakfast on a Sunday and this place was packed. I ordered the Pork Belly Hash which was a bunch of tiny pork cubes, served with 3 eggs. The potatoes were not mixed in on this hash dish so I ordered hash browns extra crispy. This was a big plate though and also came with biscuits and gravy. This was a solid breakfast from a portion and price perspective. Joe ordered the Texas Skillet and a large cinnamon roll. I tried a piece of the cinnamon roll and it was good. After a day of drinking and karaoke, I had my wife bring the family here for my 2nd visit for dinner where she and I ordered the fried chicken. I loved the crispy skin on the chicken. The size of the pieces were adequate. Most of the flavor came from the skin as the meat did not taste like it was marinated. My wife thought the fried chicken was OK. I ordered mashed potatoes and gravy and corn to accompany the chicken. My son didn't care for the chicken strips but my daughter liked the chili served in bread bowl. We saw a special for a pie of the month and wanted to take one home but they didn't have anymore. They offered to give us any other pie for the same price so we took a strawberry pie home and it was good! On my 3rd visit I ordered the caramel cheesecake french toast with eggs and bacon and my wife ordered the hot turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. We really enjoyed these items. My 4th visit was the worst by a mile. I ordered the prime rib sandwich with a cup of pea soup, my wife ordered the fish and chips, my daughter ordered the grilled cheese and my son only ordered a cup of pea soup. the soups were brought out first. The soup was very condensed and appeared to be blended peas. I didn't mind even though is was viscous as the flavor was good. My son did not care for the texture and he would have prefered his soup with some liquid. The entrees were brought out next. My family started eating and my food did not arrive. After several minutes I was told that the meat did not smell good so they were going to re-make it with a new batch of meat. Meanwhile, my wife complained to me that the fish had no seasoning and tasted like it was from a box in the freezer. She also complained that her fries tasted like fish. The waitress shows up again and said that they made the sandwich wrong and were going to make it again. My daughter liked the grilled cheese sandwich. My sandwich finally shows up and it was made with dry roast beef and not prime rib. The parmesan bread was excellent but this is not what I ordered. The manager removed the sandwich from our bill and offered us a free pie for the inconvenience. The service here has been good and we have been served by different servers each time. This place has an IHOP layout in that you check-in with the host/hostess and you need to line-up at the cash register to check out. The one benefit of this is that you can't ignore the display case with the baked goods. IHOP has no benefit to the layout. Although my last visit was bad, I had three good visits. 3.5 stars but the review may be updated in the future. read more

We have been coming here for years. Decent prices, good food, large portions. Last two visits have been a little disappointing. Prior visit I had breakfast and chose a muffin. I've had their muffins before and they have been good. The banana muffin this last visit was bite size, dry and tasteless. First demerit. Today arrived for a later lunch ((145pm). Restaurant was pretty empty. We ordered. Mother in Law ordered steak and eggs both cooked to medium and wheat toast My wife ordered blt and soup. I ordered a burger. 5 min later, my wife's soup arrived as did the mother in laws toast. My wife finished her soup and politely waits assuming our meals would be arriving. We wait 25 min while the staff is cleaning and changing shifts etc. Finally someone notices us again and comes ask how we are doing. I meantion the fact that we are still awaiting our meals. 5 min later our waitress arrives, apologized and left. My mother in law cuts into her steak and it's very rare. After several minutes I finally flag down our waitress. She apologized and take the plate back. Meanwhile I have finished my meal awaiting the corrected meal to come back. By this time we need to leave as the girls had a nail appt at 3 in the same parking lot. Her food arrives and it's the same steak but well done at this time. We ask for a To go box. Now to be fair, they took the meal off the ticket which I appreciated and thanked thanked the waitress for. However, I would prefer a return to better service by the kitchen staff, more attention to customers by waitstaff and consistent quality. I hope management reads this and takes this customer experience and try to ensure it is not repeated. read more
