I usually order a half of a sandwich and soup combo. However, I was feeling a bit more adventurous so I tried their Chicken Prsto Sandwich., an excellent choice. The chicken tender and tasty slices of chicken breast meat. It could have had a more generous slice of tomato. There was only a sliver of tomato in the sandwich. The pesto was delicious and complimented the sandwich perfectly. The bread was of course fresh and yummy. I also had their iced tea which was excellent. We have been going to Corner Bakery Huntington Beach since it was first opened. It is our go to restaurant until last night, the 18th of Octobr 2024. I was not allowed to use my rewards and when I gave my phonenumber they said I had none yet when I went to my app there were two that were not mentioned by the person who took our order. She was not accomodating at all and almost like we were bothering her. Lost my birthday treat and other rewards. The food was so substandard that I almost turned it back in. The soup was like sludge but I ate it, a mistake, myhusbnds sandwish was cold. It had been sitting on the counter with no one telling us it was ready. It was our first time here and the cashier/server who took our order was so rude. It shows on the receipt her name is Aaron W. She has nose piercing, look Hispanic and with long black hair. We took time to decide what to order since my dad is really old. She keeps on rushing us though there are no people waiting. She was livid not even a thank you after taking our orders. She is still young, and if she continues to be like this, she will never improve her service. It sounded like she doesn't like what she's doing. STOLE MY AIRPODS! Had a late lunch there on Fri 12/15. Accidentally left my AirPods behind when I left. Realized it within an hour. Noticed on Apple Find My that the AirPods were still at the restaurant. Called the store... someone nice on the phone said "sorry we didn't find them here." So, I drove back to restaurant and looked around for myself, unsuccessfully. However, it was still showing on Apple Find My that the AirPods were in the store, but likely somewhere in the back of house. Begged staff to help me find them... manager couldn't really care less, others just kind of ignored me. So I eventually went home. Next day - Saturday - still showing as at the store on Find My. All day long, with multiple updates confirming they were still there... Went back in the afternoon ... looked around. Again, app says the AirPods are there... one employee helps me look... again, can't find them. Becomes pretty clear to me that one of the employees has them... but still not 100% sure. Saturday evening - check in again on Apple Find My... now I can see that the AirPods left the store in the evening (end of shift?) and headed to Garden Grove, CA. The AirPods were at someone's house overnight. Sunday morning - first thing... I check in again on Apple Find My... see that the AirPods are BACK AT THE STORE. Now I'm quite convinced that one of the employees has them. I can STILL SEE THEM on Find My right now. So... BEWARE... the employees in the this store will steal things from you, kind of ignore your pleas to help find the item, and then nobody will help you figure out who is in on the scam. They only offered to help him if he came back into the store. He asked for a manager and was hung up on. Updating my review to a one star only because I can't give it 0. I went back saying "ah what the heck, I'll give it one more chance" after my last experience. I got a sausage and spinach breakfast wrap and it was just horrible... not to mention the manager attacking me at the door for not wearing a mask, which I totally understand. I said "sir I'm sorry I don't have one on me but I'd be happy to wear one if you can provide me one" he said it "wasn't the store's responsibility to provide that, there's signs at the door" I said "listen.. The prices are cheap and they have 2 sizes that you can choose from. I usually get their carbonara for a cafe size because I can't eat their entree size anymore. I come here often, the staff also changes often which has caused poor service. The older gentleman wearing the mask is very rude when I picked up my to go order, I inspected my bag and he got upset and I then said sometimes the silverware is forgotten. He immediately responded and said " no we never forget" unfortunately my bag that had my to go lunch order did not have any silverware, so I showed him and then he changed his communication to " it's only available upon request" and another associate behind him handed me the to go silverware. Ridiculous and rude service, they need experienced associates with better quality service I'm really disappointed as I come here for lunch often and provide them with so much business. I came to corner bakery on a random afternoon for lunch after seeing the Pick 2 deal on the online menu. Honestly I feel like this place is trying to be Panera but misses the mark. For food I ordered the chicken noodle soup which tasted like Campbell's soup from the can, and the turkey avocado Cobb salad which which wasn't bad. I also decided to try one of the baked goods (one of the salted caramel cake balls). Overall I left very underwhelmed with the food but the staff was nice. read more

I ordered the rustic Italian panini and the bread was soggy and the pepper spread was too spicy to even eat. The avocado turkey salad's dressing tasted like nothing but mayonnaise. I came here with the girlfriend to go over printing options for my invitations We both got a combo. I got the soup and panini. The soup I got was my favorite tomato soup and a chicken pomodori. Both was really good and served with potato chips. The food came out fast and everything was good. She brought booklets and booklets of options and we stayed there for a long time. So, you need to get some stuff done and you need two things: coffee and something other than a day old bagel to get you through it...? Well, this is a good place just for that. The food, although a little more expensive than I would like, is good- which is why I keep coming back. I love the chicken noodle soup in a sourdough bread bowl... (You no carb people- I don't know how you do it) The breakfast panini is also pretty tasty. Generally, they have many bakery items which is important if you, like me, have kids who bank on that. :) beware though: this location is a bit more limited in its variety of bakery offerings. TLDR: They give small portions :( This Corner Bakery is located in Bella Terra. They have pretty good parking in the area and there's seating inside and outside. However, I'm not sure why anyone would choose to go to Corner Bakery over the restaurants in the area. Not because corner bakery is bad or anything (more on this later), but because there are other restaurants that are full service and serve really great food. I can understand choosing Corner Bakery as a cheaper option... But it's actually not. I've been to corner bakery more than a couple of times so I have a feel for the pricing and the food served now. The prices are under $10, yes, but I don't think the amount of food I get is filling. And if you're going to be ordering double the food, you might as well go somewhere nice and pay the same price for food that will fill you up. Their best deal is the 1/2 sandwich/ side combo but 1/2 a sandwich is so LITTLE! Especially if you're having a panini. They do give chips for free with all their orders but I came to eat their actual food, not the chips. I wish they had bigger portions but the food itself isn't bad. I really like their Caesar salad. And their vegetarian panani is really good. I wouldn't consider this place to be super healthy though. In terms of restaurants around, yes. But it's not all greens and vegetables! Which isn't a problem but I just wanted to warn those who want to come here because it's super healthy or whatnot. Overall, I am probably not going to eat at Corner Bakery again. Located in the Bella Terra in Huntington Beach near the street of Edinger Ave. It's not very big. They have a pretty good selection from salads, pastas and breakfast items. As you enter you walk up to the counter to place your order if dining in they give you a number and you place it in the stand at the table you are gonna eat at and they bring your order to you. I got a Caesar salad and the Chicken Carbonara both the cafe size which is a small bowl. The regular size bowl is pretty big so I opted for the small. I love Corner Bakery! I personally think it's way, way better than Panera bread. Their pastas, soups, and bread are great. Their bakery section (bundt cakes, cookies, cupcakes) are also baked to perfection. My boyfriend and I come here every once in a while when we're in the area or feel like getting inexpensive pasta. We usually order their Chicken Carbonara or their Pesto Cavatappi pasta, which are both perfectly creamy. I recommend getting one entrée and splitting it in half -- that makes for a perfectly sized meal. We would sometimes order an extra café sized meal and split that in half if we're still hungry. The bread that comes with their pastas are really good also. They're made fresh out of the oven and are served with the perfect crispiness. We've also tried their broccoli cheddar soup and macaroni and cheese, which are both also very good! If I ever craved soup, this would probably be my go-to place. I docked off one star because the parking at Bella Terra is terrible, and it's not perfectly clean here. I usually have to go around in circles looking or parking each time I come here.
