Corner Bakery is so underrated and I'm still not sure why. Their breakfast, and lunch/dinner menu is absolutely delicious. It's the place we go to when we literally don't know where else to eat. It's solid, delicious, convenient, and you can never go wrong with anything on the menu. The best part is signing up for their app and getting points, which gets you so many discounts and money off of foods which is a plus. For breakfast, my favorite thing to order is the Apple & Banana Overnight Oats with their Crisp. I also really love their Caramel Macchiato. For lunch/dinner, I also do a Choose Two, where you can mix and match half of a food with another food. I always do the Chicken Carbonara Pasta with half of a Chicken Pomodori Panini, but you can always change it up for what you want. Date of visit: September 21, 2017 I've been meaning to visit this Corner Bakery Cafe location for the longest time; now that I had joined their e-club and gotten my coupon for a free birthday dessert/pastry, it was time to come here for breakfast this morning (and cash it in)! Breakfast was their Anaheim Scrambler plate ($8.29) - two scrambled eggs, with smoked bacon, tomatoes, green onions, cheddar & avocado, served with two pieces of harvest toast and a side of oven-roasted potatoes and onions (you can also substitute fresh fruit). The plate was rather filling, even if there wasn't too many avocado slices on top of the order. Additionally, there's Sriracha at the condiment bar - it definitely helped improve the taste of the scrambler plate! For my birthday freebie, I again went with the blueberry hand pie - while the gal at the register wasn't sure if it would work with the coupon (despite it being listed on the coupon itself as an option to choose - and given how it's one of the most expensive items on the bakery shelf, gotta go with it, am I right?), she was surprised that it went through. The crust and filling were superb! There's plenty of seating inside and out, and parking is plentiful (especially now that Sears is closed). I was surprised at how busy Corner Bakery Cafe got despite the early morning hour. And apparently, you can bring your own coffee cup in as long as you pay for the java... Sometimes they are super fast and they get your meal to you in a matter of minutes and other times, it takes forever aka more than 15 minutes. It's a bit inconsistent. Again, overall the food is not bad. It's decent. I've ordered pasta and panini here before. The panini was tasty, a little oily and the pasta was okay. My go to order is typically the Asian Wonton salad. When you order the entree size, it's a pretty good size to share with someone, if you aren't too hungry. If you are hungry, you can easily finish it. Also, the price points aren't too bad either. My entree salad was $9 and you get a small piece of tasty bread with it. We've been a big fan of the Corner Bakery going back twenty plus years. Back then we were living in the midwest and they had just opened one at Northbrook Court, or in Ferris Bueller country. Btw, in those days the potato chips were made onsite and were packaged in waxed bags. Long gone. LOL We have been to this location a few times and prefer it to the fast food options. The Mac 'n Cheese is great, as are all the sandwich options, which can be combined with either soup or salad. Its flavorful and just straight up delicious. I have also gotten soup And sandwich combination. Depending on the day you come the soups can he different and I am in love with the loaded baked potato! Its such a clever idea! Its basically everything a baked potato would have except instead of an actual potato you get a bowl of potato bisque and they add the toppings on. So its this very creamy after very yummy soup that goes perfectly with your hot sandwich. Parking is part of the mall so you will find no issue here. REDEEMED!!! I ordered a Mac N Cheese kids meal - $5. Comes with a good sized portion of good ole fashion creamy mac n cheese shells, fruit juice and a cookie! I always come here and get the chopped salad and add walnuts (no charge!). It's funny because the "entree" size is only $1.20 more than the "cafe" size and it's like double quantity. So...yes go for the entree size and share with a friend...unless you really need to save $1.50. It comes with roasted chicken, bacon, avocado, blue cheese, tomatoes, green onions, iceberg and romaine lettuce. The dressing is pretty on point, but they tend to over dress it. I recently used Corner Bakery to cater a large lunch (approx. 40 people). Online ordering wasn't available at the time, so I went into Corner Bakery to get more details and place an order. I'm really glad that I went in because I received great service from one of the managers (I think her name is Kat). She helped me figure out how much food and drink to order as well as the mix of sandwiches. The amount we ordered was almost perfect; we had leftovers, but it wasn't too much. (I got 2 large Corner Classics with sandwich baskets, mixed green salad, Cavatappi pasta salad, fresh vegetable basket, fresh fruit tray, chips, and sweets basket.) While I was placing my order at Corner Bakery, I also received a complimentary drink and cookie. The staff was very accommodating and helpful and we only put in our order 2 days in advance. The delivery guy was right on time with our order and set up the food for us. The only thing that he forgot was ice. He offered to come back with the ice buckets, but since the iced tea and lemonade boxes were already cold, I didn't want him to bother going back and forth. The food was very nicely presented and tasted great. The chicken pesto sandwich was definitely one of the favorites. I really enjoyed the pasta salad and the sweets (bundt cake and maple pecan bar) too. I've also had their box lunches. These come with a sandwich, fruit cup, chips, and a cookie. It's reasonably priced and tastes great and works well for a lunch meeting. I had a great catering experience with Corner Bakery and highly recommend them. Ordinary dining experience. Ordered Chili, broccoli soup and some pastries. Flavor for everything was decent but nothing compared to Panera. The bread next to the soups were stale and flavorless, while paneras bread is fresh and flaky. Broccoli soup was beyond watery, was going to return it but figured they were low and quickly added water. Aw I was so sad. This was my first time eating here and the first thing I did was bite into my Pomo panini (AMAZING) and I got a half of the Asian chicken salad which was incredibly misleading because there was a scarce amount of chicken. 2 whole, thinly sliced pieces of Chicken (about the size and width of two quarters next to each other) and then random scraps! I know they were busy but I ordered this online an hour ahead of time.
