We found this place by chance and decided to give it a try because we were really hungry and no other place nearby had good reviews on Yelp, though from the outside it does not look like a place I'd ever consider (I'm a bit picky about the cleanliness of the general outdoor area and not just the interior). I used to come to this place all the time when I lived close by and I really miss it!! The owner is so kind, and I always enjoy stopping in for lunch. I would usually get crispy cod with rice, there's something magical about the way it's prepared, it makes you feel warm inside! I've never done take out here because I really enjoy eating in, it's cosy in the restaurant and I feel really comfortable hanging out and enjoying my food. The Parking here sucks!!! But, it is so worth it! Just call in for a to-go order and pick-up. Came here after Universal Studios and it was worth the drive to get here. Got the Korean BBQ beef and it comes out sizzling on a skillet. Incredibly good. Better than I could have ever expected. The tacos were buy 3 get 1 free. My only regret is I didn't have enough room to finish all four tacos. The cabbage was fresh and delicious and the special sauce had a tasty spice to it. My bf and i stopped here after yelping for restaurants near our hotel and omg the fish tacos and beef tacos are to die for. We also got the Koren bbq beef and the bbq chicken also and they were good too but the tacos were delicious. The kalbi burger, veggie burger, korean bbq fries are delicious. But if you want something healthier, order the tuna plate. The tuna is seared just right. Served with white rice and coleslaw. OMG!! My friends and I don't live nearby and decided to try this place because of the 5 star rating. We were on the way to another location and stopped by for lunch. Overall, I can definitely see why this place got its ratings. The restaurant looks clean and new, and the menu has a variety of food to choose from. Most of the selections are well priced and everything else makes this place well worth visiting. The owner (I assume), was extremely nice and double checked if we got everything we ordered, which is always a good plus for customer service. Although I was missing my food, she quickly went back to the kitchen and fixed up my item as soon as possible. After our meal, the owner was extremely thoughtful and gave my friends and I a batch of homemade brownies. I never would've expected that but we really appreciated the gesture, and it was a very nice surprise. read more

Been wanting to try this place for a long time. Parking is horrible and the area is not great... but that's not the restaurant fault. I ordered a kambi burger and seasoned fries. The first bite of the burger was ok.. but as I ate more of it there were different great flavors with each bite. By the time I finished it was a great tasty experience. The Korean beef was a lil on the dry side but not to where it ruined the burger. The fries were very crispy.. but at $2.30for seasoned fries would of just gotten reg fries. Probably the dopest little spot in this area. I came in here just walking by and it was one of the greatest restaurant discoveries. My friend and I dropped by Corner Grille on our way back into LA from an all-day PCH cruise from the bay on the 4th of July. We were exhausted and starving and so many places were closed - my friend called a bunch of places and Kari, the owner of Corner Grille picked up his call and was nice enough to stay open a bit later to accommodate us - YEES! We ordered way too much food but that's okay because everything was delicious and this was our last cheat day (hopefully!). We had two fish tacos each because one wasn't enough($3 for 2 deal!). I also had the Kalbi burger, which was amazing - the hawaiian bread went so well with the BBQ sauce. I wish I could've eaten another one. We also got the cajun shrimp, which was well seasoned. Kari even gave us chocolate mochi for the holiday. Outstanding service :) Wish it was a bit closer to LA so I could go more often! read more
