I attended Corner Joint yesterday for the sole purpose of supporting Krazy Cup's pop-up. I ended up not only ordering a Krazy Cup, I also ordered a mango Michelada with add-ons, which Corner Joint made. The Michelada was my first. I chose Modelo Especial beer because it's supposed to be really good. It is a lighter beer, which I prefer if I'm going the beer route. They had a few choices for add-ons: Beef sliders (I ordered 2 - one for me, one for my mom); mac & cheese poppers (it came with 2); al pastor sliders; and bacon wrapped shrimp (which I didn't order). For those who aren't familiar, a Michelada is like a Bloody Mary, but with beer, Tajin and spicy sauce. The mango Miche was not tomato-y, which is why I chose mango. You could definitely taste the flavors, which were delicious. The Miche was garnished with jalapeño slices as well as a celery stick. I ate them all! Lol. Everything was so fresh and delicious. The sliders were the best I've ever eaten. The beef was cooked perfectly - so juicy and flavorful. The mac & cheese poppers had brisket in them, but they are delicious. Lawndale isn't too far away, so I definitely plan on returning to Corner Joint to try more of their delicious food and drinks. Their service was great - very attentive. I just wish they notified us when they were closing the kitchen because I would've liked to order something to-go. I will return, though. read more

This has been the worst experience in a food joint ever. First off my sister in law ordered for us 15 min before we arrive they had just gotten there. After waiting another 45 min they brought out our food. My sister in laws sand-which came with a strand of hair in the middle of it. When I began to eat my food I bit on something hard (I ordered a sausage and bacon omelette ) nothing that would cause a bone to be in my meals. I spit it out immediately because it hurt my tooth! I spit out a cooper staple ! Like seriously !? A staple ! With a picture to prove it ! And all the waitress could do is not charge us for our meals ? Where is a manager in this situation ??? They least you can do is show your face for that. read more

I came here hungry and left full, I ordered the Philly cheese steak, sweet potato fries and fried mac and cheese poppers and a regular lemonade. I want to thrilled with the Philly cheese steak sandwich, i felt it wasn't up to par with the rest of the worlds. But those mac and cheese poppers where to die for, I'd go there and just order multiple orders of them, with the sauce they use, it was jamming with flavor with every bite. I am so glad to have found this place! Lucy and Nancy were nice & attentive. We had a lot of questions as this was our first time here and they answered every single one of them with a smile. We had their $15.00 bottomless mimosas (2 hour time limit) and their breakfast pizza. I must say that i was extremely hesitant to try the pizza as it sounded odd to have an egg on my pizza but i am so glad we tried it! It's full of flavor and delicious! So my friends and I came here because they love micheladas. As for me I'm not a huge drinker. I will start with their review. They said hands down the micheladas here are the best they have ever had and I'll let you know they have had a lot from just about every where they have been. The beef slider and bacon wrapped shrimp on their drinks were good. As for me I ordered a small sampler of the fried Mac and cheese. The first two bites were good. But after that they just didn't taste that good anymore. Looking around the restaurant I noticed that their health code was just a mere B. Come on guys you can definitely do better than that. I saw this place on Instagram so I started to follow. What caught my eye was the spicy Margarita so had to see and taste for myself and OMGEEEE THE BOMB! I came here for lunch with the intention of getting the lunch special that I saw a picture of a menu on here. Turns out the prices had all changed within the last 5 months and the special did not exist any longer. Everything was about $1 or $2 more. I got a Philly cheesesteak and my girlfriend got a wrap, they were both mediocre, like something from a deli at a grocery store. We did like that yogurt parfaits were an option for a side and we really enjoyed them. The whole experience was underwhelming and I probably won't be back. read more

I just hit this place up for a take out got the Pesto chicken pizza(my favorite) & the Beef Sliders( MY NEW FAVORITE) I don't know what they put in these sliders, but the patty was cooked to perfection. The food was good, place is smallish but cool. The service was ok the thing i did not like was a table of 5 and the food comes at all different times like a pizza comes out then 20 min later someones salad then 15 later someone else's like if people wait for you there food would be cold not cool at all we are all here together would like to eat together, the drinks are good to. read more

If I could give this place more stars I would. This place is smaller than I thought it would be, but that didn't bother me at all. The service was so quick, and staff members kept coming to our table to make sure we had everything we needed. For the amount of food you get the prices are super reasonable. I wanted to splurge so I got the loaded Michelada and my bf and I shared the breakfast pizza. I was STUFFED after this meal but it was so worth it. Honestly I'm usually not a fan of micheladas but I had seen pictures of the loaded one on their Instagram so I wanted to try it, and i actually really liked their michelada mix. This place was an incredible fine. I had a Chelada-- and wooowwwwww! I would drink this again and again it was so tasty. We also had the Mac and cheese poppers which were terrific and came with a spicy ranch sauce that really made the poppers. Lastly we had the Mac n Cheeto pizza which is made with flaming hot Cheetos! Stopped by for a snack while my car was getting serviced at PepBoys next door. Ordered the buffalo cauliflower and French fries. Thick style fries not my favorite but they were still tasty, and the buffalo cauliflower was fantastic. Very friendly service. Definitely recommend. read more

I ordered some Beers and Margarita's pizza and taste good also I seen people ordering Burgers and other drinks and looks good to tryout. Is a little noisy but good for groups 16 beers on tap and variety of beer bottles it may need more TV's but is a good ambiance I will come back again. read more

This place has really proved itself to me. After an OK first experience and failed second attempt, I decided to come back to give them another try. Now, this is the only place I go to to get a michi Micheladas: Their micheladas are the BEST in the South Bay. Primarily the reason I keep coming back. Has a good kick, just how I like it and has a great presentation. The staff are friendly and attentive. The owner is a cool guy that I'm starting to get to know. There are a lot of food options as well and even a breakfast menu. Love how they show the Dodgers too! My suggestion would be to have later hours on Saturday. 8pm is a bit early for a prime night, especially if there's a Dodger game. Also the brioch buns tend to fall apart by the end of the burger. After leaving another spot for being unclean I came up North to try a few different spots. And this was one. This place did not have disposable menus that they throw away either! The had laminated menus and mine was DIRTY!!! I told the lady this isn't clean! It had food on it!!!!!!! Omg! I just ordered a drink. Walked in here not expecting too much just because it's pizza. I was blown away by the service and the food. The micheladas are very refreshing and great. It was flavorful and well balanced, it's also the first time I've had a michelada with jalepenos in it. I had the hot wings, both BBQ and Hot, and they both were flavorful and great. This place is great! The boyfriend and I come here all the time! They're remodeling, so every time we go in it's looking better and better. The service is great! They know who we are, memorized our order lol they even let us pre-order by phone so as soon as we walk in, our order is ready! :D The wings are some of the best wings we've had too! I appreciate the fact that they have a reasonable delivery fee ($2) and minimum amount on Eat24. It allows me to order delivery for lunch without having to spend so much. The pizza was delicious! A little too cheesy for me, but the flavor of the crust was so good. The Hawaiian pineapple slices are a little big but nonetheless the overall taste was 5 stars. I found this place on a day out during their taco tuesday special and I've enjoyed it ever since. The service is great and everyone is so nice. I definitely recommend coming during their specials. I always get their fried macaroni and buffalo cauliflower during their happy hour and they are so delicious!
