I did have an overall good experience here; food was good. The beef "tea" was pretentiously named but still hit the spot as a starter. The wagyu selection was excellent, and I really enjoyed the scallion salad. I'm not a big banchan person either, but I was actually able to enjoy those, too. I was not in love with the servers sprinkling salt on the meat with their bare hands, and not fond of them rotating 6 different workers on our table; communication could get messy. Had such a "COOL" time at Cote. We dined for a late lunch Friday afternoon and received excellent service from Joey. We were greeted by other friendly servers even though we had very young guests with us. My daughter (5) woke up this morning and said "Cote was so COOL." Went there for Christmas dinner. The Christmas set menu was expensive and the portions were small. They didn't proactively remind us that side dishes could be refilled. When we asked for one refill, it took them more than 15 minutes to bring it. The whole meal felt like it was deliberately dragged out until we were full. The staff were very polite and the atmosphere/environment was nice. But it's not suitable for bringing family to eat. It's okay for couples who want to chat and have some drinks. read more

Excellent experience. Came here for my anniversary dinner and I know what many people think "the price here is high," but it is actually worth it. We got the butchers feast for $88.88 a person, the Caesar salad, and the lychee martini. They were very much worth it. They truly start off with the lighter foods, then work up to the hard hitting ones. The ONLY thing I'd say is that there was only 8oz of meat for this price but a lot of sides and banchan. The service was excellent. Rotating servers refilling my water cup, refilling banchan, checking up on our meat cooking as well as giving detailed explanations on how something will taste and feel. We visited COTE Las Vegas after missing the chance to dine at the New York location earlier this year. After hearing that a location had opened in Las Vegas, we decided to give it a try. We dined on Christmas Eve, with a relatively late dinner around 8:00 p.m. That evening, we already had a show scheduled, so our timing was a bit tight. I hesitated about dining there because of this, but we ultimately made a same-day reservation (around 2:58 p.m.). While we did not make the reservation 30 minutes in advance, during seating a male staff member openly mentioned in front of us that our reservation had only been made 30 minutes prior. We were then led to a table right by the entrance. This was especially disappointing because a female staff member had initially made it seem as though we had a reservation and appeared to be trying to offer us a better table. The interaction left a poor impression, but since it was the holidays, we chose to let it go. As for the food, perhaps my expectations were too high, but overall it was underwhelming. One of the wine glasses had a funny smell too. Our main server was male and, unfortunately, was rarely present. It also felt as though most of his attention was directed toward my husband, rather than acknowledging me or our child. We did not receive frequent check-ins or a proper, welcoming level of service. That said, I would like to express my appreciation for two staff members who made the experience more pleasant. The Korean? male busser was very attentive consistently refilling our water, clearing the table promptly, and anticipating our needs. In addition, a female staff member who appeared to be an assistant server was kind and thoughtful, making an effort to check on us and offer help when our main server was absent. Without their efforts, the experience would have felt far more disappointing. Overall, despite the number of staff members moving around, the atmosphere felt rushed and cold. Compared to the warmth, courtesy, and hospitality often experienced in Korea, the service here felt lacking. Given the level of service and the quality of the food, I was honestly surprised that this restaurant has earned a Michelin star. While I am unsure if we would return, I hope this feedback can serve as an opportunity for COTE Las Vegas to reflect and continue improving both its service and overall guest experience. read more

Came here last minute with my family -- six of us total, including two small children (ages 2 and 3). We placed our order, and then our server sent , Tiffany (I believe that was her name), back to tell us that everyone was supposed to "participate" in ordering, meaning each person needed to order a main dish. Obviously, a 2- and 3-year-old are not going to eat a flight of steaks. Our plan was for each couple to order the $88 tasting menu with a few add-ons, which should have been more than sufficient. She told us this was not acceptable but said she would "make an exception." We even offered to purchase two additional dishes if needed -- no issue at all. At that point, her explanation changed, and she claimed she was just trying to "confirm our order," which was clearly not the case. The interaction came across as frustrated and unprofessional once we didn't order the way she wanted. After that, the service went downhill. We were left pulling our own food off the grill because no one came by, service was inconsistent and sloppy, and my husband ordered another beer that never arrived. The pricing suggests a Michelin-level experience, but the service and etiquette absolutely do not match. Best I've ever had. Butcher's feast is amazing, portions are perfect so that you and your party can be full. So many sides come with this "combo" and each and every single one of them were amazing and unique. Don't even get me started on the A5 Miyazaki Wagyu, we ordered 3 oz of it and man when they say it melts in your mouth it absolutely does! Their drinks were also amazing, I myself had the non alcoholic drink, Finesse. The food is amazing! The appetizers, salads, sides, especially the meats, and the soy sauce caramel on the vanilla ice cream dessert! The service was just as exceptional as the food. Our first server was Valentino, and Caleb took over when Valentino's shift ended.. both were great, along with the entire team that helped with our dining experience. Can't wait for my next visit. Dining for 2, Valentino suggested the Butcher's Feast with a Caesar salad to start, and a Wagyu kimchi paella is his go to order. It did not disappoint, and even the Butcher's Feast might've been enough food for 2. He mentioned the Steak Omakase is better for a group of 4+ because of the amount of food, so I'm definitely looking forward to trying that on a future trip. read more

First of all way too many workers just waiting around so you feel so rushed. Once one person starts cooking our food another comes right after they leave then a different person then a different person. So you can't enjoy your meal or talk because someone is always there. Also one of the guys in a suit gave all his attention to a dumb food influencer who had a blinding light to take pictures of the food for social media so that was fun to have in your eyes. Meat was typical for a medium tier non-ayce kbbq. Nothing that wows you. White Tiger cocktail was awful and just tasted like margarita mix and nothing else. Ceviche was awful. No seafood just rename it pickled veggie medley with a tiny shrimp underneath. Music is crazy loud so I guess they're going for that instead of a nice place to just enjoy a meal. Michelin stars mean nothing anymore. This will impress tourists from the middle of nowhere that haven't had kbbq before. If you have had kbbq before this won't impress you. Even the banchan wasn't that good. Everything super sour and unbalanced. I prefer sour but this just tasted like they poured vinegar on vegetables and called it a day. I've been to NYC's COTE several times and the Vegas is location is almost as good! Considering they've only been open for 2 weeks when I went, I'd say they filled the shoes pretty well. Great ambience, fantastic service, amazing food. I recommend the Butcher's Feast and adding on additional meats/sides/apps if needed. Cote was an experience that I wasn't expecting as I don't do fancy restaurants too often, especially a table side service like this, which really exceeded my expectations in service. To start, the food was simply amazing - the cuts tasted and felt of quality. Everything that was at our table did not disappoint and ultimately left our dinner completely satisfied. Our server, Brian, really added to this experience as well - which is somewhat we hoped for at a restaurant of this level. He answered all our questions with quickness which, to me, meant he was very well knowledgeable about the food, menu, and even the culture. Overall, it was a great surprise - especially as it has just opened! Glad to see quality is still around on The Strip. I will probably be back next trip. read more

For our anniversary last night, we decided to splurge and chose Cote as our destination restaurant. I like to make a note of the staff's names when they provide exceptional service, and Cote truly delivered. From Lexi and Erica at the front, with their charming smiles and welcoming body language, we felt immediately at ease. They escorted us to the bar where we were greeted by the incredibly hospitable Amber and Joe. After ordering drinks and a couple of appetizers, we were already impressed. Then came the highly anticipated meat selection and banchan--and wow, did they deliver! The first soup broth to open our palate was unforgettable. Every member of the service staff was on point, including Nicole, Michael, Giovanni, and Eunice, all of whom were attentive and delightful. AGM Tiffany's warm, welcoming demeanor was as good as any Vegas hospitality, and Jay didn't hesitate to get his suit dirty by cooking our meat while making sure we felt well taken care of. A huge shout-out to the entire Cote team for their impeccable hospitality. There are plenty of Korean BBQ spots in town, but if you're looking for a memorable night out with a nightclub vibe, this is the place to splurge. The food is delicious, I'm still thinking about the steak tartar, A5 wagu and oysters with uni on top. Overall this place has a great vibe with live DJ and mood lighting. I've been to Cote New York over half a dozen times, so as a Cote stan I had to invite my colleagues to come on our trip to Las Vegas. Thankfully, this new location did not disappoint. It's the same great Cote experience, with a few twists on the menu and ambiance, but overall still fantastic. Our server Sosa was great. Attentive, a bit of a perfectionist, friendly, and wasn't bothered by the very convoluted way we needed our checks split. The DJ, as others have mentioned, is quite the interesting touch. Cote LV is more "clubby" than Cote NYC, and I found the layout to be far more aesthetic as well. I did find the prices to be slightly higher than NYC's, but that's also Vegas. As for the food itself, I highly recommend the Butcher's Feast. It's the best way to enjoy Cote. No sides needed either, it is plenty to fill up most people. This isn't just for show or an "experience," that is style over substance, Cote is delicious. All in all, if you've ever been curious about Cote, I promise you will have the same 10/10 experience in Las Vegas. I was extremely disappointed with my experience at COTE Las Vegas. For a restaurant at this level, the service was shockingly poor. From the moment we arrived, the staff felt inattentive and uninterested. In comparison to New York, where the waiter was really interested in explaining to us each dish, I feel like maybe the one assigned to our table didnt exactly know that we knew how it goes? He was too busy gushing over the other table beside us who looked really affluent. I felt like we were being ignored while other tables were being taken cared of. The entire service felt rushed, uncoordinated, and impersonal. No one explained anything, no one checked if our food was okay. At one point, the waiter assigned to us cooked ALL of the meat and it turned hard and he put all the beef onto my husbands plate and cut them up into pieces. I was shocked. He was about to cook everything and we had to stop him. Then he just left. For the price point and reputation, I expected professionalism and hospitality -- but instead it felt like an afterthought. Cote a so-called 5-star spot that's been hyped up everywhere, --it was a total letdown The meat quality was decent, but the service killed the vibe. Our grill wasn't changed once during the meal, leaving everything charred and smoky in a bad way. Drinks took forever to refill, requesting refill condiments 4x on 4 different occasions which is 16 TIMES . To top it off the meat was burnt when served , the waitress said they would replace it with a new one which when it came out she put the meat on the grill and left , never came back so I decided to cook the meat myself so it wouldn't burn again. By the time the meat was finished the condiments for the meat was later served. The bill came out charging my for the extra meat that was suppose to be free. I had to contact the manager to notify this incident . Correcting it felt like pulling teeth--the manager dismissed us with a half-hearted "sorry" and no adjustment. For a 5-star rating, this place is coasting on reputation alone. The food was fantastic with a club vibe! Best quality beef I had in ANY steak house in Vegas. Best kalbi I had in my life. Service was great as well. However, I dont write reviews unless I see something outstanding. We had a reservation for a party of 8 but had some issues with staff checking us in. This is when the manager Mr. Kim immediately resolved the issue. That was impressive enough but as we were dining, I noticed Mr. Kim busing tables, cooking meat, helping staff non stop, and interacting with customers to assure they were happy. That was VERY impressive! I managed a staff of 300 people and mentor managers to be leaders. Mr. Kim led by example and was an effective manager. He understands leadership and customer service.
