It's also connected to a church, so it definitely leans into that community-centered atmosphere. Unfortunately, after going back 3-4 times hoping my experience would improve, the coffee has been consistently disappointing. It tastes burnt and weak at the same time like warm water with sugar. There barely seems to be any real espresso in the drinks. On more than one occasion, I've taken several sips hoping it would get better... and ended up throwing the whole drink away because it was just that bad. That's honestly frustrating, especially when you're paying for specialty coffee. The only drink I've actually enjoyed there is the pumpkin spice latte, that one was solid.

They asked me if I wanted it heated up. I said I did. I saw her put it in the microwave, and I assumed they turned it on. When I bit into it (I had already left and walked across the street) it was cold. Like cold cold. On top of that it was flavorless which made it worse. I questioned the soft cookie texture but once mixed it the hints of Biscoff were quite good. Milk options include WHOLE and OAT which was a bit limited. The bathroom is quite fancy and clean. Filled with little pockets of cream cheese, drizzled with honey, and topped with toasted regular and black sesame seeds (I forgot to take a pic of this one, but I'll add it next time I go). We enjoyed all of the pastries we tried- not a crumb on our plates by the time we were finished! The decor is beautiful and unique. All of the employees super nice and helpful. I ordered 3 (mozzarella, Nutella and custard) all three flavors were delicious. These are made to order and take about 15-20 minutes to make. Cafe Tori's menu has many options. The cafe was very clean, organized and spacious. The self-serve kiosk is their preferred method of ordering as there are only two people working. Both staff were very friendly but extremely busy. The owner was there both times that I went. This place is located in a strip mall so plenty of parking however, during peak lunch and dinner times, Maui Pho customers take the majority of the parking near Cafe Tori.
