Complete disappointment in the institution! Starting from the hostesses, who are absolutely not friendly and not polite! We waited for our table for 30 minutes! Then at the table, terribly slow service. The waiters are slow, the terrace is not well maintained, you will not get any view! The furniture is very old. We asked to be transplanted inside, we were seated at a table at the waiter's counter, although there are a lot of free seats in the hall! I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!! I have a very mixed feelings about this place. The place is very cool, have a bit crazy artsy bar area, classic and stylish dinning area and open air patio with a beautiful view on downtown Miami and the bay. So the place is perfect almost for any occasions from grabbing a beer with a friend to a romantic date. But I do have mixed feelings as I said before and the reason is the food, which is at best mediocre and really don't match to the way it place looks. Besides I really have to get to this place 4 stars, because when manager discovered that we not satisfied with the quality of the food, completely took care of our bill. Emily checked us in and she was so nice and professional enough that I remembered her name. (i'm usually bad at names) Eventough it was a cloudy rainy day in Miami this place didn't disappoint. If you are staying at the four seasons it's a quick 10min walk and honestly the food is better than the food at the four seasons so go figure. Our server was very nice and sweet as well and the food hands down was so good!! Every thing I had was good and perfect portions. I can't wait to come back to Miami just to have this meal again . Crazy about you is a restaurant with a very unique name located in Brickell with beautiful view of Biscayne Bay. The menu and decor here is very electric with a twist on many Latin cuisines. Our waiter was very attentive and provided good recommendations. The restaurant also had a great deal all entrees ordered came with an appetizer of your choice, a two for one. For starters we choose the Mahi Mahi fish dip and the Chihuahua Cheese Casserole. The fish dip included plantain chips that tasted like it was bought from Publix and the fish dip was a little bland. The Chihuahua Cheese Casserole was the delicious and I think the best part of our whole meal, gooey and full of flavor. For the kids we ordered Kobe beef burger which came with French fries, and ham croquettes. The burger was good while the croquettes were too soggy, but the thin fries were excellent and additive. For my main entree I picked the Free Range Chicken Milanese with cheesy mashed potatoes, the chicken cutlet was too dry while the mashed potatoes was very watery. For dessert we ordered their Spanish cheesecake which was delicious very sweet and creamy. We had a great time but I think the ambiance and bay view is the main attraction over the food. read more

There is inside and outside seating. We got there during happy hour. Had the martini, the mule and the Paloma and they all were perfection! Each entree came with an appetizer. I had the chicken Milanese with jasmine rice and the kale Caesar salad! Amazing!! The cornbread was so good, we ordered it twice!! Our waitress Alexandra is top tier! She was very accommodating and patient with us. She gave great recommendations and reviews. She treated us like we were regulars. Very sweet and funny. The best service I've had in a while. While every restaurant and business makes mistakes, it's really how they recover from those and the lengths they go to correct them that speaks the most about their level of care for their customers, and their business practices. On the day we came here to Crazy About You for a late lunch on a Sunday they made a few, but recovered very well from both. We arrived with our dog in tow at just after 1:30 p.m. and went to the patio area in back that overlooks the bay as we were hoping to sit at the bar. The bartender there said they were still setting up and not open for service, as that doesn't happen until about 1. Again...It was already after 1:30. When I went inside to the hostess station and asked for seating on the outdoor patio for 2 and a dog, she said it'd be about a 20 minute wait. I gave her a bit of a confused look as we'd just passed by there and knew there were plenty of open tables, AND another patron just before me asked to be seated there, and was taken immediately and given a table. She saw my confusion, apologized and said they were just opening up that area and wanted to do it slowly so the staff weren't overwhelmed. When they did come for us about 10 minutes later they were apologetic about the wait, and also brought a dog bed for our 4 legged friend to use, which was appreciated. Service was very good throughout our meal, our food was served in good time after we'd ordered and the food quality was good. We'd come here to celebrate a special occasion and ordered a bottle of Chandon brand champagne to enjoy with our meals. After we'd paid our bill we had 1 final look at the check and noted we were charged $140 for a bottle of Moet & Chandon. We motioned to our server and showed him the error. He was apologetic and said the bartender must have entered the wrong bottle. The bottle of Chandon we'd ordered and drank costs about $16 at Total Wine. The Moet & Chandon we were charged for by comparison costs about $70 retail. Big difference. The server left, returned a few moments later and explained that he could adjust our check and the charges, or we could just take the bottle we'd paid for with us. We asked that our check be adjusted. A few minutes later the manager came to us, apologized profusely several times for the mistake, explained she'd voided our credit card charges for the original check, she created a new bill and did not charge us at all for any champagne (so we basically got the bottle we'd consumed for free) and she gave us her business card in case there was any issue at all with the charges to our credit cards for the first, incorrect bill. Again, mistakes happen and sometimes restaurants fall down or have an off day here or there. At times when you catch an error they may correct it, but do little more. Crazy About You went above and beyond and gave us a bottle of free champagne to make up for their error, and we didn't even complain and told them several times it was fine; we really didn't expect more than to be charged correctly for what we'd actually consumed. Their efforts and generosity went far beyond what most restaurants would consider doing and it's appreciated. We'll be back for sure. read more

Went there as a last minute dinner for my birthday. Soon as we did valet and went through the door the staff was awesome. Set outside and the weather was just right. I'm a vegetarian and they had a couple decent options for me on the menu I had the artichoke pasta which was really good. The portion size was right and very filling. One of my friends had a burger and I forgot what the other one had (sorry lol) but they both enjoyed their dinners as well. I had the message in a bottle desert and I loved the concept! From the friendly staff with great service, especially from our waiter Marco. He was very attentive to our needs and constantly checked on us...maybe a bit too much but we know he means well. When we went the restaurant was pretty quiet but it felt cozy, like as if I brought out the place. But let me not forget to mention the food. It was, as usual, impeccable. I was hesitant at first as I believe most hotel restaurants placed on any waterfront are very over rated, but the presentation and the food were both equally excellent. My meal started off with the lentil soup which was very hearty, yet light. very heavy aroma of flavor throughout and lots of lentils/vegetables for texture. i had to take breaks because i was eating it too fast hehe. Then the main course; Branzino covered in cilantro aioli, both ends of the filet charred to perfection. Gives me goosebumps thinking about it. I loved every bite as the still steaming hot fish was melting in my mouth. Don't be fooled, most white fish can be covered in seasoning or sauce to mask the very inevitable over cooking of said fish. But they did it right here, as every single piece of the filet just crumbled apart, glistening with moisture and flavor. I however made the mistake of not asking for a different side, as it comes with cauliflower fried rice, which i'm not a fan of. But i trust that the side i imagined i would have gotten, would've made my meal twice as perfect. My only regret: Not trying more items on the menu. This place was perfect for a great, relaxing dinner to start the weekend off! My friend and I walked in without a reservation and were easily able to put our name down for an outdoor table. We didn't mind the 25 minute wait as we went down to the water to admire the lit up skyline. One thing I immediately noticed was how respectful and welcoming the staff members were whilst they sat us at our beautiful table. The menu was simple to read yet was filled with impeccable options. Something that sets Crazy About You apart is each entrée included an appetizer at no additional cost. Our server, Sam, was very accommodating and even went back to the kitchen to confirm if some dishes I inquired about were gluten free. Side note: the oxtail tacos are served on flour tortillas and the kitchen was unable to switch to corn tortillas to make it GF. We started with some drinks ($8.99 white house wine was delicious) and ordered the tostones and bruschetta. The tostones were crispy and each bite got better and better topped with tomatoes and diced strawberries. My friend ordered the chihuahua cheese casserole and said it was really good as well. While my friend enjoyed a beautifully stacked burger with fries, I loved every bite of the skinny lolita chicken paillarde. Highly recommend squeezing lemon juice on the entire platter as it truly enhanced the flavor. Additionally, the sauteed veggies on the side were prepared with an amazing glaze that I'm still dreaming about. After devouring our meals, the manager brought our bill and asked about our experience which was the best finishing touch. Our waiter was beyond fantastic and made the experience that much better. We had booked reservation for inside and were hoping to get outside. The Hostess told us it could take 1.5 hours for outside. We didnt want to wait that long so we were immediately seated at inside table. Within 5 minutes of sitting a worker, might have been manager, came over and said would you like to eat outside, the hostess said you did. We were thrilled! I have visited Crazy About Your on two occasions. The first was with my family and the second with a out of town friend for my birthday. The first experience was fine, but yesterday's visit was interesting to say the least. I will start with the positives, to be fair. I find the ambiance and menu to be exciting and new. I enjoy trying new dishes and experimenting with a nice drinks menu. We had excellent appetizers & the frozen rose. Both were decent in size & delicious. My friend ordered a delicious poke bowl, which I also tasted and enjoyed. On both occasions, they've also accommodated us as walking and sat us rapidly. Things started getting funny when I received my zucchini carbonara. I eat kosher (no pork products), so I check dish ingredients very carefully so I don't accidentally order anything with pork or ham. Upon receiving it, I notified the gentleman who brought out the dish that I was unaware it contained pork. The menu listed the chicken but not the pancetta. He insisted that the menu listed ham, but it actually did not list it. I don't expect menus to list flour and eggs, obviously, but I do expect a meat to be listed. Next, the waiter who did provide overall decent service, came to inform & semi-lecture me that any dish with the name of "carbonara" in it will always contain ham, so it's a given. I find this comical... let's take a moment to reflect on this situation. I'm a paying customer, spending approximately $50 per person on a lunch, essentially a guest, and I'm getting guilt-tripped with a lecture on how carbonara is essentially the meaning of a cheese sauce with ham. Let's pause now for a second. My guest who is Russian would never know a Spanish paella in a restaurant contains seafood. Why? Simply because it's a dish she isn't familiar with. I haven't eaten anything-carbonara in my life because I eat kosher! I am not aware carbonara contains ham because I am not normally exposed to cuisine with ham. I avoid it actively. I will give credit where credit is due. The waiter promptly offered to swap my dish and make it with a ham free sauce. The final dish was delicious; I enjoyed it. But wait for it. While getting my check, another random gentleman comes to my table for another semi-lecture to remind me that carbonara always contains ham and in the future to ask for a ham less sauce. Here I am, paying $108 for a f******lunch and I get my second lecture on carbonara! Lol! Ladies and gentlemen: Not everyone who goes out to eat is a cuisine expert. I eat all over Miami and spend a good portion of my income on eating out because I enjoy it. I am also losing my patience with service. Paying guests are guests. They aren't there to feel bad; they're there to enjoy their time. They also don't want to feel that everyone in the kitchen is having a good laugh at their shortcomings on the menu. Spare the lectures, offer a solution (which they did!), and continue delivering delicious food! I here for Sunday brunch and I was extremely impressed and satisfied with everything. It's right on the edge of the water so the views are amazing outside. Thankfully it was pretty windy so we didn't sweat lol. Every option on the brunch menu sounded delicious and from my tastebuds to this review, I can tel you they did not disappoint. We ordered the cornbread to start and as soon as I tried a piece I immediately knew I was in for a good time. Needless to say it was really good. I called in that day for an early reservation and they were able to seat us with no problems! Our waitress was Christina and she was AMAZING! I got there a little earlier than my friend so she didn't hesitate to bring water and ask me if I needed anything. Once my friend got there she ran through the menu with some great suggestions. The menu has three different price points for entrees, all include your choose of appetizer! What a great deal! They also had frozé which I didn't try this time but looked super good! I got the Buddha Bowl and my friend got the breakfast pizza! For apps I got the mahi mahi dip, so so good! I had a great time here with brunch and the views are one of the best in Brickell! What a lovely place located on Brickell Bay, so you definitely get the water front dining if seated outside. There is usually a wait to get a table outside as you cannot make a reservation for that ahead of time, you must come in person and make the reservation. There is a bar outside with some seating that is first come first serve. The inside has beautiful seating too and works great for groups. We decided to sit at the bar outside and make sure your wearing long sleeve or a jacket because it does get windy, oh and your hair will be blowing in the wind too so bring a clip. They were nice to inform us on that but we were prepared. All food entrees do come with an appetizer and can range from 20s- mid 30s per entree price. They do offer happy hour as well. In NY picture you'll see the tuna tataki, calamari flat bread and the Mahi Mahi fish dip. The Mahi Mahi dip was very fresh and came with a side of plantain chips which were perfect for dipping. The tuna tataki, of course a delicious bite. The calamari pizza was good too it was a nice way to combine 2 popular items together. Our bartender was so nice, a young female I believe her name began with a R but I don't want to spell it wrong. Everything was so nice from the views, to the people and menu. We made a day of reservation for dinner here on a Thursday at 8:45pm. The service was a bit slow but the restaurant was busy for a weekday. We chose outdoor seating and the views were pretty. Maybe the view stands out more during the day or maybe because we went to a different restaurant the night before that had impeccable views that it didn't really awe us. The decor was cute though. The food was good for the price. They have a dinner special where every entree comes with an appetizer which was nice. We order the veggie spring rolls and burrata caprese avocado toast. Not gonna lie, the mix of Italian, Latin, and Asian inspired appetizers kind of threw us off but it worked out well. The spring rolls were hot and yummy with the sauce. The burrata toast was a hit! Very fresh and super delicious. For our entrees, we got the porcini mushroom tortellini with shrimp and our server recommended the chicken milanese. After about 15-20 min, our server came back and let me know that they are out of the chicken for the chicken milanese so I ordered the mushroom tortellini too. I will say that the wait between the appetizers and entrees was a while. The tortellini was creamy and good but just a bit small but that is to be expected when it comes to Italian food. I secretly asked our waiter for a surprise birthday cake celebration and he kindly said he would oblige. The chocolate cake was in fact very delicious. Someone came out and took professional pictures of us and then asked if we wanted to buy them for $25.00 which we declined. They waived the price of the cake due to the entree mishap which was nice. Overall, not a bad experience. The main problem was the slow service and then the chicken milanese mishap because that made us wait even longer for our entrees. The staff should've been told they cannot serve that dish any longer but also I've never had a restaurant say they were out of a protein/dish during a dinner service. Overall, I would give it a 3.5/5 but rounded up to 4 for the sake of this review. read more
