I didn't meet any crazy brothers or sisters here! Stopped by right at opening and ordered some food! Spoke to one "crazy" brother, super nice man. Amazing customer service! Other "crazy" brother was in back working, so didn't get to chat it up with him, but I bet he is far from crazy as well. Food was great! I had chops and my mom had chicken wings! I also had chess pie and she had a tea cake....now you know you are in "old school black mode" when you bust out some tea cakes!! My 83 year old mom's eyes lit up when I gave her a tea cake. She's too old to cook them and I don't have time to try. I didn't taste it, but I remember her baking them as a kid and them being something between a not so sweet cookie and a biscuit. It must have been good because she scarfed it down, dentures nowhere in sight, but crumbs were scattered all over her blanket! I'm going back, so next time I will get one.

The food was outstanding! This place is definitely a hole in the wall and I was nervous at first approaching the establishment because it doesn't look like much on the outside but once I entered I was greeted with a big smile and welcoming service. There are menus by the door that shows everything they have to offer (which is a lot of amazing stuff) and there was plenty of seating options inside. The food didn't take long to come and the wait was definitely worth it. It might not be the prettiest place but the food definitely makes up for it! If you live in the area you should definitely give it a try. I also saw a review that said they almost fell asleep at the first light and I understand why ! The portion is huge and it was definitely a challenge to finish but you also don't want to stop eating because it's so good. This place has the best fries I ever had EVER. You'll definitely leave this place with a full belly and a big smile.

Food is delicious. Great to come to a black owned business with excellent customer service and food. The portions are plentiful. Hello to my previous co-worker Kevin. We will definitely be back.

delish. I was pleasantly surprised with this place. I think it's in top three of BOB I've been to this year. the meat was seasoned with more than just salt. it was tender and came out in a reasonable time. chefs kiss frfr!!! fries and okra was on point and customer service was actually service. I gave it this rating only because of the desserts I shared a brownie with my sis and she enjoyed it staring "this will be better when heated up". For me it was a little dry but had great flavor, not too sweet and somewhat fudgy. The dining area was clean and pleasant. A Coke Zero would have set it off. inside joke. thank yall. job well done.

Crazy Bothers is where every DFW tourist and resident needs to eat, if you are looking for a serious local culinary experience. BREAKFAST, LUNCH, AND DINNER-Deliciousness confidently served ALL DAY. The thing about restaurants down south that serve breakfast is that they're not only about pancakes, waffles, a side meat, eggs, hashbrowns, and the usual IHOP fare. You can get stuff like smothered chicken with rice and biscuits, liver and onions with rice, or some fish with a side. And then at Crazy Brothers you can get fried pork chop with eggs and potatoes. I haven't had pork chop in years, but the week I went to Crazy Brothers was a cheat weekend. Ah, oh did I cheat. The pork chop was "This is how my grandma fry it" tasty. I had cheddar on my scrambled eggs and they didn't require any salt. The potatoes were all sorts of good. I got there shortly after they had opened for business. I can only imagine the crowd they draw later in the day. What I had would easily turn me in to a regular customer, so I would not be surprised if they don't have regular customers piled up in there constantly. They made my "Places to Return To" list.

Stopped by here for a quick lunch and was glad I did. The menu offers a lot of options but I settled on the Big Bacon Buffalo Chicken Sandwich with tots. It was PHENOMENAL! The staff were super friendly and helped navigate the menu. I will definitely be back.

Go here. Don't think about it. Just get here. The food is insanely good. Everything is cooked to order and the portions are wild. You will not leave this place hungry. This is not a diet spot, this is a place to revitalize your soul. The brisket tots are incredible and the Papa Norton sandwich is massive, and delicious. Hot sauce and syrup on every table.

Yoooooooooooooo!!!! This place is fire! We only came bc it was rated 5 stars ALREADY! But man we had to show some love bc we walked in and was unsure but with that first bite we was gone! They know what they're doing here. Miss Nay Nay was an amazing waitress, so sweet and professional. Her suggestions were on point. She's amazing! The food! Unlike any breakfast place! We took the food home bc we couldn't finish and it was so good we didn't want to waste it. Definitely going back. ****The Loaded fries with brisket, THAT HOMEMADE BBQ SAUCE THO!! The way everything tasted was balanced, no flavor overpowered another, and it was like every bite was perfect! Chicken on the wings and waffles was cooked just right and was crispy!

Call in early and place your order! Well worth any type of wait if they are busy. This spot will maintain one of the better breakfast spots, if not the absolute best in the S Dallas area. These guys care, are kind, and make breakfast like your grandma on steroids. I gotta give these guys huge props. Helping the community while also serving great food. Pretty busy at lunch, several call in orders and 4 of the 6 tables were full. Real friendly staff, very personable and detailed with each customer. Chicken and waffles were served and philly burger, both looked real good. Made fresh and proper, Apple Pay is also available.This place had great reviews so I made the drive over and am happy to report the cheeseburger and fries were great. This is a great mom and pop spot. Or should I say brother and brother spot. The service was excellent! We were checked on multiple times by multiple people. Don't expect anything super fancy. It's really good breakfast/brunch food and great service. The only downside was the time it took for the food to come out. We didn't order anything fancy pancakes, bacon, grits, eggs, toast, and fried fish. Actually, now that I think about it, maybe that was it, the fried fish. It worked out because I was there with a friend I hadn't seen in a while. We chatted quite a bit before the food came out. Again, it was super amazing! read more

I was having a rough travel day (800 miles to drive) and just needed to get some good food and decompress. I drove 15 miles out of the way to stop here. Really friendly place, as soon as you walk in. It smells amazing. Everyone is nice and it just smells amazing..lol The guy that took our order forgot to give it to the cooks, so we waited 45 minutes for our food. He apologized profusely, refilled drinks, brought us free nachos and candy for my daughter. The food was worth the wait. WORTH THE WAIT. My daughter had pancakes and bacon-- which was amazing. I had the chicken and waffles. Those were the most perfectly cooked wings I've ever had. Perfectly seasoned. I took them in a to-go container and I ate them while I was driving. I'm looking forward to my next trip to texas! read more

This place was both awesome and inexpensive. The staff was super friendly from the moment you walk through the door. It is a small restaurant that caters to both dine in and carry out. I ordered the turkey burger and fries which I was excited to see on a menu as most places no longer serve turkey burgers. I don't live in the area bu me I will definitely be back. IHOP has always been my #1 spot for breakfast, but they won't see me anymore. I went to Crazy brothers for the first time yesterday for breakfast (Belgian Waffles, bacon, eggs), it was really good, so they saw me again for dinner (pork chops, fires) it was delicious. If you like chicken and waffles you have to try this place. I've had Babe's Chicken Dinner House, Hash House A Go Go, Big Mama's chicken and Waffles and the world famous Roscoe's House of Chicken and Waffles and Crazy Brothers beats them hands down on flavor. The chicken was fried up perfectly and the waffle had just the right amount of fluff. I have eaten chicken and waffles from all over the Country and I can honestly say that this is the best I've ever had. If you come here bring your appetite because they don't play. I just can't believe I actually traveled a distance to come to this place to give it a try! Tried not to judge a book by its cover because some "hole in the wall " places can put out the best food. Okay so I will be back next month. The food is phenomenal. Amazing customer service. Shout out to NayNay. I had the surf and turf with corn nuggets. Everything was so hot and fresh and made with love. I live in Carrollton and I will drive all the way here for their food. Next time I'm getting breakfast! Their breakfast and lunch is AMAZING. Best patty melt I've ever had, and I mean it when I saw they treat you like family. Everyone is so friendly, they made me smile. Crazy brothers has so many options to choose from it can be 8am in the morning you want burgers and fries they got you or 6 in the evening you want pancakes and eggs they got you... I order the grill chicken sandwich and it was really good and juicy will be back for more... and the services was very friendly which is a ++++ I'll recommend anyone to go check them out oh and they tea-Lemmon aid off the chain read more

The burgers are not thick but this time I noticed the double burger (#2) is just a couple of bucks more than the the single patty in #1. Note to self for next time. Although the patty is thin, the flavors work. The burger comes with lettuce, tomato, onion, and mustard. No ketchup, you add that yourself. The bun with sesame seeds always comes out piping hot. Sweet potato fries are crispy and not greasy. The combo comes with a drink for $10.99. That's a deal. I hope they stay in business another 13 years!

Given how busy the place was, we figured the bar would mean faster, more attentive service. We were very wrong. We ordered two beers, a non-alcoholic drink, and three appetizers. The drinks arrived, and the appetizers followed about 10 minutes later -- fine so far. But there were no utensils. We had to ask for them, and we asked for plates as well, which never came. The empty dishes from our appetizers sat in front of us for a solid hour with no one clearing them. The bartender who took our order never once checked on us. With 3-4 people working behind the bar, only one server approached us during the entire 40-minute wait between appetizers and dinner to ask if we needed anything. The bartender told us twice that our food was "coming out shortly" -- and still, 40 minutes passed. When dinner finally arrived, my order was wrong. I ordered the Mongolian Short Rib, listed clearly under the Entree section of the menu. The bartender claimed I had ordered off a "happy hour" menu -- one I never saw or was told about -- and had swapped it for BBQ Pork Ribs without saying a word. Knowing a replacement could take another hour, my friend swapped plates with me and took the ribs. He had ordered the steak frites, which, for a rare steak, should have taken no more than 5-6 minutes to prepare. The third entree, fish and chips, was just okay -- a bit soggy and not particularly fresh. To top it all off, after everything we dealt with, the bartender never asked how our meal was or if we needed anything else. The food has potential, but the service was inattentive, disorganized, and frankly unacceptable for a busy restaurant that should know better.

Greens 4/10 ( had a weird taste ), yams 7/10 looked like the canned ones but not other real complaints. The gravy that the pork chops were cooked in was good but the pork chops were very tough. Both of them were tough and one was nothing but bone. Maybe two or three real bites of meat from it. Now my daughter got the oxtail casserole ( that was the best thing out of both of our plates ) the cabbage was pretty good 6/10. Mac and cheese lacked flavor 5/10. I may go back and try the fried food options but that's only if I'm in the area. Will not make a special drive for the food.

Because the prices are way too high to get food that is sub par. First, the bacon on the bacon cheeseburger was not done and it was more like cut up thick ham pieces.
