I didn't meet any crazy brothers or sisters here! Stopped by right at opening and ordered some food! Spoke to one "crazy" brother, super nice man. Amazing customer service! Other "crazy" brother was in back working, so didn't get to chat it up with him, but I bet he is far from crazy as well. Food was great! I had chops and my mom had chicken wings! I also had chess pie and she had a tea cake....now you know you are in "old school black mode" when you bust out some tea cakes!! My 83 year old mom's eyes lit up when I gave her a tea cake. She's too old to cook them and I don't have time to try. I didn't taste it, but I remember her baking them as a kid and them being something between a not so sweet cookie and a biscuit. It must have been good because she scarfed it down, dentures nowhere in sight, but crumbs were scattered all over her blanket! I'm going back, so next time I will get one.

The food was outstanding! This place is definitely a hole in the wall and I was nervous at first approaching the establishment because it doesn't look like much on the outside but once I entered I was greeted with a big smile and welcoming service. There are menus by the door that shows everything they have to offer (which is a lot of amazing stuff) and there was plenty of seating options inside. The food didn't take long to come and the wait was definitely worth it. It might not be the prettiest place but the food definitely makes up for it! If you live in the area you should definitely give it a try. I also saw a review that said they almost fell asleep at the first light and I understand why ! The portion is huge and it was definitely a challenge to finish but you also don't want to stop eating because it's so good. This place has the best fries I ever had EVER. You'll definitely leave this place with a full belly and a big smile.

Food is delicious. Great to come to a black owned business with excellent customer service and food. The portions are plentiful. Hello to my previous co-worker Kevin. We will definitely be back.

delish. I was pleasantly surprised with this place. I think it's in top three of BOB I've been to this year. the meat was seasoned with more than just salt. it was tender and came out in a reasonable time. chefs kiss frfr!!! fries and okra was on point and customer service was actually service. I gave it this rating only because of the desserts I shared a brownie with my sis and she enjoyed it staring "this will be better when heated up". For me it was a little dry but had great flavor, not too sweet and somewhat fudgy. The dining area was clean and pleasant. A Coke Zero would have set it off. inside joke. thank yall. job well done.

Who knew????!!!!! And when did they decide to hide it from me? I now have a clear understanding that I know nothing about Dallas. Crazy Bothers is where every DFW tourist and resident needs to eat, if you are looking for a serious local culinary experience. BREAKFAST, LUNCH, AND DINNER-Deliciousness confidently served ALL DAY. The thing about restaurants down south that serve breakfast is that they're not only about pancakes, waffles, a side meat, eggs, hashbrowns, and the usual IHOP fare. You can get stuff like smothered chicken with rice and biscuits, liver and onions with rice, or some fish with a side. And then at Crazy Brothers you can get fried pork chop with eggs and potatoes. I haven't had pork chop in years, but the week I went to Crazy Brothers was a cheat weekend. Ah, oh did I cheat. The pork chop was "This is how my grandma fry it" tasty. I had cheddar on my scrambled eggs and they didn't require any salt. The potatoes were all sorts of good. I got there shortly after they had opened for business. I can only imagine the crowd they draw later in the day. What I had would easily turn me in to a regular customer, so I would not be surprised if they don't have regular customers piled up in there constantly. They made my "Places to Return To" list.

Stopped by here for a quick lunch and was glad I did. The menu offers a lot of options but I settled on the Big Bacon Buffalo Chicken Sandwich with tots. It was PHENOMENAL! The staff were super friendly and helped navigate the menu. I will definitely be back.

Go here. Don't think about it. Just get here. The food is insanely good. Everything is cooked to order and the portions are wild. You will not leave this place hungry. This is not a diet spot, this is a place to revitalize your soul. The brisket tots are incredible and the Papa Norton sandwich is massive, and delicious. Hot sauce and syrup on every table.

Yoooooooooooooo!!!! This place is fire! We only came bc it was rated 5 stars ALREADY! But man we had to show some love bc we walked in and was unsure but with that first bite we was gone! They know what they're doing here. Miss Nay Nay was an amazing waitress, so sweet and professional. Her suggestions were on point. She's amazing! The food! Unlike any breakfast place! We took the food home bc we couldn't finish and it was so good we didn't want to waste it. Definitely going back. ****The Loaded fries with brisket, THAT HOMEMADE BBQ SAUCE THO!! The way everything tasted was balanced, no flavor overpowered another, and it was like every bite was perfect! Chicken on the wings and waffles was cooked just right and was crispy!

I was very optimistic about it seeing the reviews.... I ordered online, drove 15 mins, and still waited an hour!!!! I don't think it was the amount of orders, but slow cooks. One meal at a time... The food was not worth the wait. I really could have cooked it myself at home. It was alright overall. Maybe I would of enjoyed it more eating there. However, they were very polite. read more

Woooooow! I discovered this place on Yelp while working close by with a company on their culture. It's not often you see five stars so I though I would check it out. When I walked in everyone greeted me with a hearty hello! I was a little confused by the menu at first because I was looking for the typical 2-3 meat plates with sides. They have ribs sometimes but not today so we finally settled on brisket and sausage with not of the sides (mostly fries, onion rings, etc). I discovered when i sat that they did have a salad which I will get next time. My all meat plate arrived and it was the moment of truth. I tried the brisket first and was blown away. Next the sausage links they make on house. Also blown away. Turns out the three people working are all brothers! They have built a fantastic food experience, with great service, and really cool branding. This is a true Company of Owners top to bottom! I will be back tomorrow! read more

I posted this on Google reviews already, but I want to get the word out to yelpers as well: July 21-ish 2021 Yesterday I had a BLT (extra bacon) and a cheese burger. They both were so good, I had to try a breakfast item today. Pictured is the Colorado Omelette with cheesey (+$0.50) grits. The grits and omelette are also delicious. Both ordered I got to-go, as you may be able to tell from the photo. I love their packaging and hope they are able to keep it up. (Containers are placed in a plastic bag, then placed in a paper bag with handles. It is very convenient and organized. One side note, I received sugar with today's meal. I usually put salt (and butter)on my grits. Is sugar a regional thing? Surly it was not for my omelette? No harm done, and the also included a couple of salsa packs as well! Crazy Brother's is going into my regular rotation. I think that burger from yesterday was made with magic, it was soooooo seasoned and food... And thick! Aug. 3, 2021: I got the bacon cheese burger combo today and added another couple of photos. I must reiterate: A delicious bacon cheese burger, home cut fries, and a drink, all for under $10.00!!! I wish I'd taken pictures!! I ordered A LOT of delivery a few days ago. Chicken tender basket - super good!! I think they were out of gravy and I didn't even care. (They supplemented it with different condiments). Even after sitting in a box, the breading was flaky and the fries were seasoned REALLY well. Meat was moist & tender & flavorful ! Nachos w/ queso/ground beef - I thought the cheese and meat was kind of sweet at first but once combined it was a perfect flavor combo. Not sure how that works ! It was all packaged very considerately, too, with the toppings separate from one another. Big bacon Buffalo strip sandwich - I actually didn't super love this but ONLY because it didn't survive delivery. Otherwise, the portion size is fantastic (it's like a huge fried chicken breast on there and they don't skimp on bacon/sauce), and the flavors are perfect. The buffalo bled through the toast it was on and the chicken breading so it was soggy, just a texture issue after delivery. (That said I still ate like 60% of it before disassembling and trying to use it on different stuff). Fish sandwich - as always, the breading was on point. Fish super flaky & tender! Home cooking to go! I have been to Crazy Brothers twice and they have been excellent with me each time. I called ahead my order both times and they were accurate in the estimation for when the food will be ready. I was greeted into a relaxed friendly atmosphere. Smiles on all faces and excellent attitudes! Most recently I had the pork chop sandwich for lunch. Its actually called "The Lil Piggy". In my opinion menu items are appropriately priced for what you will receive. Well seasoned home cooking. Prepared only when ordered. Warm friendly service. Crazy Brothers are definitely in my menu rotation for lunch options. read more

Go see Tyrus if you can! He serves up incredible food at even more incredible prices! We had a group of 6 and he was super busy so he brought us some complimentary brisket nachos while we waited. They were amazing - brisket is one of his specialties. I had the French toast combo (breakfast is served all day). I ordered limp bacon and it was served to perfection while my colleague also got her crispy bacon served to perfection. Love this place and will be back when in that area! read more

This place is such a hidden gem. The food is everything and I enjoyed every bite. So many options when it comes to the menu but it's all good and it will not disappoint. The service was fairly quick for the breakfast burger my hubby ordered and I got a big breakfast platter. I wish I would gotten pictures but I was too hungry to even touch my phone. Okay so one of my friends recommended this place and so I had to go see what the fuss was about.... Well I must say!! I will definitely be coming back again and trying other items on the menu!! Everything I ordered was cooked to perfection (in my opinion) and the fact that the french toast had cinnamon with a pinch of sugar instead of powder sugar was a great touch!!! We happened to be in the area one Saturday morning and searched for breakfast places near me. The 5 star rating and the yummy looking photos and creative menu drew us in to make the choice. There was a good flow of delivery drivers, dine in and take our customers so we placed our order. The staff were extremely professional and friendly and the food was soooooo good. We had catfish grits and eggs and an omelette with pancakes. It smelled so good we ate in the car. Also we were hungry as our food took an hour and 10 minutes to come out. Hopefully the team will get the support they need to deliver a more time sensitive dining experience. I would have rated them Five Stars but for a to go order to take so long I have to dock a star. Man I believe these guys are going to need some more space... very rare do you come into a place and purchase what you saw on the menu or in reviews and the variety of foods you come across. Every combo, dish or mixing twist to however you like; the food is prepared the same and that's without a flaw. These Crazy Brothers are crazy enough to dare make your food the way you asked.... So we bought a house in the area 2 years ago and I've been meaning to get over here for a minute to get some breakfast. I picked the wife up from work and she was hungry and wanted something close to the house. I get near buckner, and she still hasn't said what she wants. So I just get off 175 and say look up Crazy Brothers on yelp... She sees the first pic and says yup let's go. Let me tell YOU!!! From walking in the door til the time we left the service alone was worth the visit and we decided we'd be back before we even had a bite. From the young lady who took our order to the gentlemen in the back we felt welcomed and at home. Now on to the food...you want to talk about SEASONED??? YES!!! The food was definitely not lacking in flavor. From the chicken to the pork chops everything tasted like it was prepared with love. Although the salt level was a little high it was probably perfect for most people. 4 stars but the service got that extra star back. We will definitely be back! read more

Our event coordinator had already been in contact with each hotel's sales team regarding room blocks, but my fiancé and I wanted to personally see the properties before recommending them to 30-40 hotel room blocks. Although we arrived after sales office hours, Liz at the front desk was exceptionally kind. She walked us through the restaurants commonly used for private events, explained the renovation timeline, and invited us to take our time exploring before returning to the front desk to view a standard guest room. Unfortunately, our experience changed when another employee, who later identified himself as Clayton, a manager, stepped in. It appeared he had been listening to our conversation but had not introduced himself. He abruptly informed us that we would not be able to view a room. We explained that our event coordinator was already working with the sales manager regarding room blocks and pricing, and that we were simply trying to ensure we felt confident recommending the hotel to our family and friends. Despite understanding the situation, he remained unwilling to accommodate the request. His only suggestion was that we purchase a room if we wanted to see one. For us, this interaction spoke volumes. Hospitality isn't just about beautiful rooms--it's about making potential guests feel welcomed and valued. If this was the experience we received as prospective clients considering multiple wedding events and dozens of room nights, it gave us pause about what our guests might experience. As a result, we will likely to move our room block, welcome dinner, Saturday event, and Sunday brunch where we're met with warmth, flexibility, and genuine hospitality from the moment we arrive. The Joule is undeniably a beautiful property, but customer service plays a major role in our decision-making. Unfortunately, this experience left us feeling that our business was neither appreciated nor wanted.

Unfortunately, everything else was a struggle from the moment we walked in. We didn't have reservations, but eventually found seats at the bar. Given how busy the place was, we figured the bar would mean faster, more attentive service. We were very wrong. We ordered two beers, a non-alcoholic drink, and three appetizers. The drinks arrived, and the appetizers followed about 10 minutes later -- fine so far. But there were no utensils. We had to ask for them, and we asked for plates as well, which never came. The empty dishes from our appetizers sat in front of us for a solid hour with no one clearing them. The bartender who took our order never once checked on us. With 3-4 people working behind the bar, only one server approached us during the entire 40-minute wait between appetizers and dinner to ask if we needed anything. The bartender told us twice that our food was "coming out shortly" -- and still, 40 minutes passed. When dinner finally arrived, my order was wrong. I ordered the Mongolian Short Rib, listed clearly under the Entree section of the menu. The bartender claimed I had ordered off a "happy hour" menu -- one I never saw or was told about -- and had swapped it for BBQ Pork Ribs without saying a word. Knowing a replacement could take another hour, my friend swapped plates with me and took the ribs. He had ordered the steak frites, which, for a rare steak, should have taken no more than 5-6 minutes to prepare. The third entree, fish and chips, was just okay -- a bit soggy and not particularly fresh. To top it all off, after everything we dealt with, the bartender never asked how our meal was or if we needed anything else. The food has potential, but the service was inattentive, disorganized, and frankly unacceptable for a busy restaurant that should know better.

The food itself was still good, which is why I'm giving it three stars, but between the uncomfortable seating, tiny table, and lack of attentive service, it wasn't a very pleasant dining experience overall.

I also got the oxtail plate which was over rice with collard greens and macaroni for the sides. Cornbread came with the collard greens. The catfish was good. My fault for not letting them know to fry it extra hard. That would have made it perfect. The oxtails were plentiful. I got the peach cobbler for dessert because why not? Loved it. Without going into great detail, the sides were disappointing to me personally. That does not mean the next person won't love them. Those plates were full full. Just know that you will not finish in one sitting.

Parking directly in front isn't ideal due to how it's structured. The staff were okay, place looked clean. Now for the food, we got the smothered pork chops, rice, greens and yams. Greens 4/10 ( had a weird taste ), yams 7/10 looked like the canned ones but not other real complaints. The gravy that the pork chops were cooked in was good but the pork chops were very tough. Both of them were tough and one was nothing but bone. Maybe two or three real bites of meat from it. Now my daughter got the oxtail casserole ( that was the best thing out of both of our plates ) the cabbage was pretty good 6/10. Mac and cheese lacked flavor 5/10. I may go back and try the fried food options but that's only if I'm in the area. Will not make a special drive for the food.

Because the prices are way too high to get food that is sub par. First, the bacon on the bacon cheeseburger was not done and it was more like cut up thick ham pieces. Second problem were the jalapeno poppers. For 3.50 I received 3 jalapeno poppers the size of corn nuggets. The lemonade had a really twangy taste and not in a good way. As we were eating our burgers we were throwing most of the pieces of bacon out of the window.Third the burger patty tasted cheap and was crumbly and discolored . Reminded of the off brand burger patties at walmart. I'm not a complainer but I had to return the food. It literally made me sick. The owner at first refused to give me a refund.
