The food from the Crazy Crab was disgusting... It was $53.00 per person for all you can eat during a two hour seating period. The all you can eat menu was pretty diverse and included food choices for everyone. You get three appetizers, in which we had the mozzarella sticks, fried shrimp, and fried catfish (not pictured). Every appetizer was trash and we sent it back. The appetizer were all frozen and tasted like it. Everything was gummy. My son ordered son crab legs in cajun sauce with corn, potatoes, and sausage. The potatoes were raw and the crab legs were skimpy. My friend had snow crab legs, shrimp, corn, potatoes, and sausage in a lemon pepper sauce. I had snow crab legs, shrimp, corn, potatoes, and sausage in a garlic & herb sauce. It was all nasty, skimpy, and overcooked. I personally believe the food is being reheated based on the texture of the shrimp and crab legs. The restaurant was large, parking is a hit or miss if the restaurant is packed. The restaurant was clean and the service was not bad. The birthday celebrations made me feel like I was in a club. I cannot speak about the alcoholic menu because I do not consume alcohol. The establishment charges $15.00 per pound for wasted seafood, so please keep that in mind before going and expecting to receive good food. I would give this place negative stars if possible. The seafood we got was great. Except the shrimp they were whole in the shell and not deveined, we didn't eat them and a lot of what we got was shrimp as it is probably cheap for them to stock. We had one of the seafood boils that fed 2-3 people and it was cooked and seasoned well, besides the shrimp. The portion and price were good. We came with a small group and everyone was happy with their food, but the offerings besides seafood are just basic fried foods inside of a cardboard holder that you would get at a roadside stand. The service was friendly but totally unprofessional for a server. They seem to play loud music like a nightclub sometimes, it was turned down about 10 minutes after we got there because our server asked if it was loud and said she would have it turned down. There were other groups and 2 with younger kids. During our dinner a birthday rap song that shouldn't be played at a dinner restaurant was played loudly over the speakers as all of the staff proceeded to ignore their customers and partied for a few minutes together. The song was not for a customer but our server... The food was good and so were the prices but I couldn't figure out if they are a restaurant that has a bar or a nightclub that offers seafood. Even with the fresh boils, you can still choose bottomless starter foods including crab balls, chicken tenders, catfish, mozzarella sticks etc. (*see menu) You start off by ordering 3-4 seafood boil items and 3-4 starter items. The boils come out basically family style in these huge tins. Let's start by our server, I can't remember her name but she was a shorter lady with straight black hair, amazing service, very sweet and communicative. me and my mother same there for the first time for the buffet, everything BUT the crabs were bland, no seasoning, the spice was there but I tasted no cajun seasoning. We ordered 3 alcoholic beverages which we did not like so our server had to get the manager. The manager, Jennifer, came to our table and asked what was wrong. I went to the Bowie location on a Friday with some friends. It was our first time. We were seated near in the bar are which was fine. It took a long time for our food and then it came at all different times. Our waiter had other tables but we kept having to flag him down. He would hold up his finger and say 1 minute and then didappear. We kept telling me we were missing food. He told us the kitchen is messing up our order. If he jnew that then he should have made sure they fixed it and checked on us more. In the mist of waiting a guy and girl was twerking and dancing near the DJ. I think they work there. We told the guy to take it back and have Devonte bring the check. At that point we just wanted to leave. When he finally came to the table he asked if we got the sides. I was like hell no so I crossed it out as well as drew a line down the tip boxes. One of my guest was like just leave him something. I wrote in the other box $10 cash. I was under the impression the $13 was optional because nothing was added like most restaurants until after. He charges me and as you can see in the pic thats the copy I was given. Still no total. After I checked my bank account I saw I was charged $90. Im like wth so I called today and asked for a manager. I guy picks up and says Hello. I said whom am I speaking with and he says John. I ask are you the manager and he says yes. I asked why was I charged the gratuity when I put the amount I gave him in cash. He asked for the date I was there and the last 4 of my card. Went here at 5:00 on a Wednesday. Sat at the bar. There were 2 bartenders there, one was wiping down booze bottles and chatting with her friends, also seated at the bar. The other one, while he did greet me, went on about doing whatever it was, but it wasn't a particular task. He went to the wait station and retrieved a bill, then came back to the bar. The place was not busy, I'd say maybe 30% capacity with fewer than 12 bar customers, including me. I noticed there was a sign on the bar saying there was an automatic 20% tip added to all bar tabs. After waiting 3 minutes to place just a drink order, I left. The moral of the story is, if you're charging 20% tip automatically, you really need to step up your service. read more

ABSOLUTELY NO... There's no way I'd ever spend another dime at this establishment, especially when they hire dangerous employees like MARY BALMACENO MOUZON. I took my mother here for Mother's Day because she wanted crab legs. I've been to this place several times, never an issue. Mary, who apparently is also a manager here, was serving us. She was very rude and full of attitude from the moment she came over to our table. She started by telling me I couldn't order what I order EVERY TIME I come here bevause I had to order a "whole portion, not a half portion". They took forever to bring our food out so we just decided to cancel and go somewhere else. Mary said that we had to still pay for the food, even though the food never even touched our table, because it had already been made. We refused and she called the police on us! Not only did she call the police on us, but she stood over our table and antagonized us when I asked her to get out of space until the police got there. She refused to get out of space, saying "This is my restaurant, I don't have to go anywhere!". She also insulted my mother, ON MOTHER'S DAY weekend!... saying "Oh this is your daughter?! This is what you raised?!" And continued to talk down on us, further escalating the situation. The police came 2 hours later. She told the police she wanted to pursue us for theft. The police told her there was no way they were pursuing us for theft of food we never touched. She was pissed off and even insulted the police about "doing their job". Needless to say, we are lucky we got to interact with decent officers, because it could have been very different. We also later learned (through firsthand experiences and other reviews on here) that this is something Mary does often! Managers like Mary are VERY dangerous! We've seen how weaponizing the police, especially on people of color, because you can't get your way often ends up and I can't believe she is still employed there after she continually does this! Today I placed a to hold order same order snow crabs, headless shrimp,mild garlic butter my to go came in a foil pan not a bag I'm not sure why upon my first initial visit our left overs went in a bag ok no biggie but these snow crabs legs were even skinnier then last time it really isn't worth trying to open flavor is good shrimp large potatoes and corn cooked right I never care for sausage so I threw those out since I forgot to ask not to put them in.
