They have very good poke bowls and they are quite filling. I feel very good after eating them. I usually get it with sashimi mix, smelt egg, and a mix of sushi rice and salad. It has a very good sauce and a delicious seaweed salad in it. For about 3 people, having ordered 2 drinks and about 4 sushi's as well as the poke bowl it was about $86. For a Saturday night we for seated right away. It wasn't super crowded but it had a descent amount of people there. They give you a menu or you can scan the QR code that's on the door coming in. Restaurant environment is Interesting. There are television around playing sports and there's some loud music and a robot going around as the bus person? We did the bogo rolls and got like four rolls and the yellowtail carpaccio. The rolls lacked flavor and everything was just cooked and the the raw fish they had on top was so thin and small. The calamari on side of the California roll was cold and tasted old. I just thought the food was not very fresh and was sadly disappointed with all our rolls that we took them home. First time here and wow the food, quality, service and ambience were all top notch. We tried out their Hungry Sweetie and Black Dragon specialty rolls, and also my favorites, uni and halibut nigiris, were super fresh quality and just melted in our mouths. What even made our experience better was their friendly and attentive servers that made sure we were taken care of and got everything we needed without awkwardly interrupting in the middle of our meal. My family member and I ordered 1× 2 item dinners, Mixed tempura (me) and Chichen katsu and 1 × Katsu Curry (his). after approx. 5 minutes, the male server with Korean name came back and informed him that curry is out. He switched it to another 2 item dinner with chicken katsu and beef teriyaki (+$2). Within a minute, the server served the 2 item with mixed tempura and chicken katsu to him who he just got a replacement order due to 86 of curry. I said to him "he just ordered the other 2 item dinner to you". He said sorry and moved it to me. 5 minutes later, he served his dish with a sound of dumping the tray of 2 item dinner on to the table which was absolutely rude. 2 item dinner combo: Chicken katsu - extremely small portion, it was made by minced chicken with nothing (Katsu usually served with shredded cabbage in other restaurants). Mixed tempura - Overcooked with dark brown color. Not tempura, more likely buttered fried. Exactly the same as Onion Ring's! Dipping soup is just a Mentsuyu soup. No grazed raddish is served. All Sushi cooks are speaking Chinese, Servers are Koreans. Not asking us how the dinner going on and/or a dessert order or maybe Agari (Hot Japanese tea) at the end. I couldn't come up with a single bad thing to say even if you threatened to toss me into the ocean... Ok, the water was too refreshing!! .. ? This place is really worth a visit. Hate to mess up an almost all 5 star reviews for this place, but I just didn't find anything unique to give such high rating. There are so many similar sushi places around here that do the same thing, I'm not sure what sets this place apart. I got the chirashi bowl and my wife got the teriyaki salmon bento box. Chirashi bowl was a good deal at just around $15-$16 but the sashimi pieces were too cold, almost to the point of being slightly frozen. It was hard for me to taste them because of the temperature. They were certainly edible, and I still managed to finish my bowl, but it's not something I would rave about. My wife's teriyaki salmon tasted pretty standard. It was good but not much different from other places. It's located at the Katella Square plaza, next to Gomen. This is one of its six locations. read more

I saw that they took over the previous establishment, which you can find a not so favorable review of mine recently. I had to check it out. First thing to note is they got rid of the AYCE menu. While the general layout of the dining area and sushi bar are the same, it has been freshened up with new wall appliqués and paint. The staff was super friendly, a huge improvement over the previous establishment. The fish was fresh: sashimi and rice-less options. The cut and hand rolls are standard fair. I will have to come back to try some of the differently named items, but the descriptions are similar to other commonly known items. After the appetizer round our bentos came. My wife was not impressed with her salmon as it was in the dry side. I, on the other hand, enjoyed the miso sea bass. Flavorful but the portion was on the small side. 6oz would seem to be an overstatement. Price is reasonable and what I expect in the area. Buy one get one 50% off rolls is a great deal. My family and I really enjoyed that selection of rolls. The dynamite roll was amazing I liked how they packed the roll separate from the hot topping! Everything I tried was awesome fish was very fresh, i picked up my order togo and without asking they included a ton of soy, wasabi, spicy mayo and eel sauce.
