The bowl was not topped with bingsu, and I felt like there are more melons than bingsu (not ok). There were some sweet cheese pieces inside (yummy), some unsweetened frozen yogurt, and the rest was yogurt flavored bingsu. Although healthy, the bingsu itself was NOT sweet enough and I felt sick after eating so much unsweetened yogurt. I wish they gave us a cup of condensed milk like they do at every other bingsu place... Service was slow and everything is self serve, from getting your bingsu at the front to bussing your tray. I do believe there are other bingsu spots in Bay Area that give a similar experience with more variety and better pricing. So glad they are in downtown. Perfect when I have a sweet tooth. They have great varieties of ice cream flavors, chocolate mint, green tea, cookies and cream, rock road, soy mint the list goes on! You have options for ice cream sandwich. Cookies selections are red velvet, chocolate chips, sugar cookie and a few more selections... Can't think of it on top of my head. Having a brain freeze over my yummy cookies and cream with warm red velvet cookies. It's absolutely heaven and yummy for the tummy. Did I mention many toppings to pick from too, gummy bears, sprinkles, chocolate chips, cookies... Name it they got it. The hardest part for me is to figure out whAt mood I'm in and what I want in my ice cream sandwich. Summertime can get busy but staff is pretty efficient. I usually come every weekend after having drinks with friends and honestly, it's the best way to end our nights. I order double chocolate chip with banana ice cream and some hot fudge on top of my sandwich. I'm always happy to go here because the two ladies that always work on Fridays are the best! Always have nice music and great customer service (Jap and Naely) I think that's their names. BUT the reason that I give this cream location 4 stars instead of 5 is because they NEVER have churros or waffle base and I understand this isn't the workers fault, but I notice a lot of the time items are out of stock and the workers get shit for it. The line is long but moves very quickly. Quick to order, quick to make sandwiches, quick to pay. I came at 10pm on a Sunday night. The cookies start off warm but cool very quickly, melting the ice cream in the process. My lips and all 10 fingers were not spared from the sticky mess. Then again, I am a voracious eater. Good, cold, super sweet bite for relatively cheap, though for the money, I would opt for boba or other sweet treat. When it comes to the ice cream and cookies here I can't complain. The cookies are warm the ice cream is yummy. Taste is perfect! BUTTT for the first time on Sunday (July 11) me and my boyfriend came here around 5:15ish after lunch.There was a girl working there who was extremely unprofessional. She was unorganized, out of it, and rude. Most of the ice cream looked melted. The shop was very messy and surprisingly it was a bad experience. I got a scoop of cookies and cream and it was basically melted ice cream. The cookie I got was the only good thing I could enjoy. I've never been to a C.R.E.A.M. establishment but I've heard they are the rave. The line moved quickly, which I liked. This location is small and there is no place to sit inside or outside which was annoying because I wanted to share a few minutes with my 3 year old son over ice cream. He ordered a scoop with marshmallows and I ordered an ice cream sandwich. The sandwich was great...fresh warm cookies with ice cream. When I tasted his scoop...the ice cream was more icy than creamy and not rich like Cold Stone or Ben and Jerry's. I wouldn't go here for single scoop ice cream...BUT the sandwiches are great and I look forward to trying more of the combos out. read more

Nice location. AMAZING customer service. I don't usually go on Yelp to rate places, but I'm addicted to CREAM!!!! I love the employees who are dancing and singing. Brings enjoyment to this place! Finally was able to come by after a weekend dinner. Smitten Ice Cream is in a little building with easy access walking from nearby parking garages. Short line that moved quickly despite the general large crowds at Santana Row. I opted to get a small scoop chocolate ice cream. The liquid nitrogen gives it a super smooth and creamy texture in a short timeframe. It was cool watching them mix batches of ice cream from the viewing window. The chocolate ice cream itself was a nice, velvety dark chocolate. I do wish it came with dark chocolate chips or chocolate chunks for some additional texture. Overall, decent chocolate ice cream for not too wild a price (though $7 a scoop is already a treat)!
