    Chilaquiles with added chorizo

Cute LA style combination grocery store with Eatery Very interesting seating, wish they had seating inside though since it was hot. Chilaquiles was great and had the right amount of eggs and nachos. Plentiful parking, singular restroom, self ordering tablet

    Half eaten Adobada Burrito

Driving through town to Tahoe, had to stop at Tesla charger across street and stumbled upon this gem. I'm from LA so having quality Mexican food that beats home is hard to do. Crearee hit the spot for our family. We tried the Adobada Burrito, Asada Quesadilla, and Asada Torta and all were amazing. Portions were large. I couldn't finish the burrito as you can tell from half eaten portion left in picture. Happy leftovers for later! There is also a great little market inside with some true authentic Latino goods. Staff were super friendly too. Oh and clean bathroom before we hit the road. We'll be back on our way home!

Love the hot Cheeto corn a must while traveling to Bishop or mammoth straight from the cob shaved into a cute box literally so good ,,, now the carne asada burrito was huge in size and absolutely no meat lol we dig through it looking no meat for about 16 bucks if we lived there definitely would of taken it back and ask where the MEAT. Kinda crazy but half way told L A till we opened it super disappointing no more burritos but yes to the corn and vegan chicken tacos are delicious .. they have the cutest back patio to eat on as well .

Always a good stop! The strawberry and cream matcha is delicious! Not too sweet but so so good! The people are always nice and the shop has everything you could want! The ambiance is soo cool. Clean, airy tulum vibes.

The elotes are so freaking good the best in California it comes out fast and hot you should go its great Youll get addicted.

Good stop along the 395 for some warm food, but their meat ratio in their breakfast burrito is pretty lacking. Tastewise, it's as expected and good but pretty disappointed that it was mostly eggs, potatoes, and a small handful or two of bacon.

    Plant based taco trio.

It's a small market/taco shop. They have snacks drinks pan dulce and assorted goods. We got some food. I got the plant based taco trio. My favorite was the "carne asada". They had no vegetarian rice but I just gave the rice to my son. He got a quesadilla and enjoyed that.

This place is very interesting. Semi market, semi eatery and part bar also. The ordering area looks like a reception desk at a hotel while the restroom is one of the nicest restrooms I've ever been in as far as a burrito shop goes lol. Their market has various Mexican items and things like chips, drinks, fruits and veggies. We ordered the chorizo breakfast burrito. It was very big and filling and very tasty, the spicy salsa sauce has a bit of a kick to it but not too spicy. The outdoor seating with benches were nice to have and it looks like it can turn into a bar hangout at night time. The staff was nice and efficient with their food.

We got them to go cause it was just so hot to eat there. Brenda took our order and she was the nicest ever. She gave us to sample some fresh Agua's we tried a cantaloupe and hibiscus/strawberry Agua and they were so refreshing. Their menu has a bit for everybody if you want tacos, burritos, and other great items as well. They have Combos as well that are well worth it. When our order was ready she let us have a Barbacoa taco to sample and it was SO delicious if I knew how good it was I would have gotten a few of those, Now I know for next time. So flavorful and loved how she heated the tortillas they had a good crisp to it. Their asada was our favorite along with the barbacoa. Great tacos and amazing service. Can't wait to come back when we are in the area. They have a seating area as well as hand washing area as well. Friendly reminder they only take cash as well. Great spot for tacos!

The flavors and individual components of their food just comes together so well, with a balance and synergy that is rare to find. We drive up to Bishop at least a couple times a year from Los Angeles, and in addition to the backcountry, this place is one of the main reasons ther motivates us to return. Food is based on 150 year old family recipes that originated in Guadalajara. On top of that, the people that own and operate this business are so friendly? pleasant and hospitable. Thank you Brenda, Andrew, Ariabella, Abuelo and the others I missed for operating this place! Please come open up a place in Los Angeles if you ever choose to expand!!!

When we were addressed after entering, they said the wait would be 10 minutes. Its noon so okay, understandable. I guess the girl mainly tends to the register I guess. Someone else had to clean tables I noticed. We asked for two waters the other girl who cleaned the table brought the water with chips and salsa. Salsa tasted like tomatoe sauce no spice at all no seasoning. I had to add some sauce in a bottle to help it have flavor. I order a tamal a la cart and 1/2 order of beans. Our other order was a two item chile relleno shredded beef taco rice and beans. Again when the food came out bland no seasoning we ate what we could but left disappointed. It was clean, as was the bathroom but thats it. Best thing was the chips lol, and the beans with the cheese. We have no plans on returning.
