Must say, I enjoyed my crepe meal. I ordered 2a which had all veggies - spinach, feta, mushroom, pesto plus other cheeses and avocado. It was full of flavor. The crepe was not too heavy either. The side of fruit you get with a meal was not too sweet as it's probably out of season and it almost tasted like canned fruit. Service was good enough. Price was pretty decent for the amount they gave. I will have to try their dessert soon when I come back... ;-) read more

The workers are really friendly and efficient; they help out with suggestions and seem really sincere. My order took a while since it was so packed when I went but that's to be expected. They offer a small range of "Tapioca Express"-esque drinks in addition to the crepes. I ordered a peach milk tea without any boba, which tasted more milky than of strong tea (I prefer more of a tea taste) but it was drinkable. I ordered crepe 13B which was peach, banana, orange marmalade, cream cheese, and whipped cream. Really yummy. The crepe itself was okay. It's similar to Q-Cup in Fremont in terms of chewy-ness and flavor, but they really do a great job with their fresh ingredients inside of the crepe. The whipped cream is AMAZING. Wow, a creperie in the New Park mall and it is good! it is only a month old and I hope they are super successful and around a long time. I don't usually go for savory crepes but I was mega hungry. I ordered the chicken pesto crepe with the fruit side (comes with fruit or salad). Upon first impression, the fruit was SUCH a small serving! I think the salad was more more worth it (perhaps next time?). The chicken pesto came with chicken, spinach, feta cheese, and tomatoes (instead of mushrooms) drizzled with pesto sauce. Verdict? It was okay. Sometimes it was tasteless and other times, it lacked that extra umph! I didn't like how the chicken was out from a bag, but this is mall food after all. The spinach and tomatoes were nice and fresh, and the crepe had a nice crunch to it. I do like the variety though! There were many options whether you are ordering sweet or savory, so that's a definite plus! Fast and delicious service for an inexpensive dessert. Orders the banana Nutella crepe and they did not skimp on the chocolate or the bananas. I love going to different milk tea places in the area, so I was happy to see a crepes and tapioca place at New Park Mall. It's located in the food court, right next to the Dreyer's. We ordered a milk tea with tapioca, Thai iced tea, and avocado smoothie. The milk tea was average but the consistency got really thick towards the bottom even though I shook it before drinking it and it tasted really strange. The Thai iced tea was WAY too sweet, and the avocado smoothie was also average. It was very thick, maybe a little more milk would have made it better. We might come back to try the crepes, because the service wasn't horrible, but we definitely wouldn't go out of our way to come here. read more

My friend frequents this place with her coworkers for the drinks and we decided to make a pit stop after a long hot day at the ballpark. I was able to try her go to drink - the watermelon smoothie - which is a new menu item. The beverage was very refreshing, as any watermelon drink on a hot summer day would be. I saw how they made it and they added watermelon, ice, and some type of sugary liquid. I think if you had your own magic bullet or blender, it would be easy enough to make. But if you're not all about creating it yourself and want something refreshingly convenient, this will probably hit the spot. read more

In the past, I would get sweet crepes when I get the chance because I've never really appealed to the savory crepes before. But I came by last night and decided to change things up a bit and actually try a savory crepe. I ordered the 12A plate ($8.49), which was chicken pesto with mushrooms, feta cheese, and spinach and you can choose either fruit or salad on the side. I chose fruit. The crepe itself was delicious! I'm seriously surprised at how much I actually liked it. I'm usually not a big fan of pesto, but this crepe has changed my view on it lol. The crepe wrap was nice and crisp and didn't go soggy even after the dish was prepared. Crepe Bar gives a really good portion of it too because I only ended up eating half of the crepe and taking the rest home. As for my drink, I ordered the peach tea ($3.49). The tea was good, a little too sweet for my taste though. I normally like my tea hella sweet, but maybe it was a bit too much. But it didn't deter me from enjoying my meal as a whole. The thing I liked most was they put a slice of an actual peach in the tea, so it gave it the peachy flavor I was looking for. I love this place! Finally the New Park Mall has something for me worth going to. Like the name, the Crepe Bar sells a range of savory and sweet Japanese style crepes(THEY EVEN HAVE THE FAKE PLASTIC FOOD DISPLAYS IN THE FRONT LIKE A JAPANESE CREPE PLACE). Other things on the menu include, gourmet waffles, tapioca tea, and salad. For frequent customers, you will also receive a stamp card where you can get a free milk tea once it's all filled up. The staff mostly consists of these two friendly Vietnamese women. They provide excellent service and if they make any mistakes in your order they'll gladly remake it for you. Despite opening only a month ago, they're already pretty popular. So you bet that it gets packed with customers. Don't worry though, the wait isn't too long but have some patience when it gets super busy. The savory crepes come with a small side salad with your dressing of choice. You can ask for extra add-ons such as extra meat or veggies. For the sweet crepes, there's extras such as nutella, ice cream, or extra fruit that you can get for a few dollars more.You can even pick how you want it to be served, either in a to-go box, on a plate, or in cone shape like a Japanese crepe. So far I've had three sweet crepes and one savory crepe. I've posted pictures if you want to see what I ordered. Everything is made for you to see, so it's a pretty fun process to watch your food being made. As for the taste, I have to say I was rather impressed. The fruits in the sweet crepe are rather fresh and the whipped cream is great. Despite all the fillings they're surprisingly not too sweet, but it depends on what you get. The only savory crepe I had was a Pate, mayo, and cheese combination. DELICIOUS TASTE, but a bit on the heavy side. The crepe itself has a soft chewy texture with the edges having a bit of a crisp.I have yet to try their waffles and milk tea but sometime in the future I'll get to that. For a crepe place, the prices are also rather amazing. A basic sweet crepe with no additional fillings can cost you almost less than $5. With the extra fillings you'll still only pay around $9 or less(Did I also mention that they give you a generous amount of filling for the price?). The savory crepes cost a little more, but you'll probably pay no more than $8 for a basic one. In conclusion, while this is not the best crepe place I've ever been to, it certainly has become a favorite of mine. If you're craving for a crepe and don't want to drive the extra miles to look for a decent crepe place, definitely hit the Crepe Bar. Edit: I've also taken a few of my friends to this crepe. One of them has never had crepes before and the other is a bit of a crepe snob. My newbie friend LOVED her crepe, saying it melted in her mouth.
