This review is for the restaurant at the airport. Our experience lasted about 15 minutes. We were waiting for a table and finally were able to seat ourselves. Unfortunately, the table was not even clean. Walked up to ask for menus and the servers were extremely rude. One heard me and passed me a menu over her head, without any eye contact and acknowledgement. I asked for another one and the man passively handed me one. We ended up walking away since the staff was rude, the tables were unclean, and the service seemed terrible. I worked in the restaurant industry for 8 years and I understand being understaffed. However, you can still acknowledge and practice politeness. I recommend walking over to Bardenay if you want to be treated decently. read more

Drinks not bad, but no prices for them on the menu. Had to ask the waitress and she just gave a range of $5 to $20. Service is spotty. It was good at first and then fell off and took 20 minutes to be able to order when the place we wasn't even half full. Menu descriptions aren't very accurate either. This is an airport restaurant....so as expected the food is over priced and the alcohol is even higher. With that being said though, the food is good(bar grub) and they have a decent beer/wine/spirit menu. So if you are stuck at the airport, there are worse places you could end up! read more

Excellent burger and brew! Had the Meister Burger and the Sockeye IPA. Bring a good appetite as the burger is a half pound of yummy topped with cheddar and a grilled jalapeño. Top that off with a local Sockeye IPA and you are ready for that long flight! Very good. read more

I had an unplanned stopover in Boise and went for a Bratwurst with Sauerkraut. As German I can attest that it was a really good and authentic bratwurst. Also the mustard was really nice. This sausage made my day and I forgot the anger about the diverted flight. Way to go, Boise! read more

Apparently the computer system has been done and all transactions must be written down by hand, which is a huge pain for him. He cannot stop talking about this. He is telling everyone his plight and barking at his server various orders ('be sure to write down the table numbers!') and it is VERY annoying. I hope management sees this post. read more

I was at this restaurant during a prehistoric event. My flight was delayed by 5 hours to make way for all the raptors who had made Boise Airport their home. Luckily for me, our server Kylee spoke fluent raptor, and was able to calm me down, combat all of the raptor dinosaurs, and get me on my flight to make it home. I fly in and out of Boise every 2 weeks. Normally I would have a beer and something to eat at Bardenay, however, they're not open at this time because IV COVID-19. I was recently pleasantly surprised that Cross Grain Brewhouse was open and wandered to the other end of the airport to give them a shot. First impression not so great. The waitress seemed peeved to have a customer took forever to get a beer. Once said beer was empty it remained empty for 20 minutes befor the bartender finally offered a refill. Second impression worse. Sat down at 545, same waitress walked by me several times, cleaned a table next to me and then disappeared to the back. Another customer arrived, goes to the bar and gets a beer to go. 555 the bartender informs me that they are closed. I said what? Yup we are closed. What time do you close? It depends, today we closed at 550. Wrong establishment closed down. Please bring back Bardenay! read more
