We went on Memorial Day for lunch service, there was quite a crowd, but we only waited 26 minutes. For $28 this is a solid chinese food buffet. They ran out of crab, but they were the small kind that takes a lot of work. No one is running a profitable all you can eat buffet selling large crab legs for this price per head; that is to say, my expectations were well met. The service was warm and efficient and the tables were turning decently, there was no pressure to move at all. The food was delicious, definitely will be back when Im in the area.

I finally got to try this Asian buffet for lunch on Friday. The price was $23 including tax and tip if you don't order a drink other than water. For that price, I felt like the variety and quality was good. There is so much variety in fact that you will not have room in your stomach to be able to try all the items. I would recommend walking around the entire buffet if it's your first time and then strategically picking items you like the best first. I started off with the nigiri sushi first. The chef was making them fresh at the bar and kept the buffet plates full. The flavor/quality was good and I enjoyed that they did not add wasabi. The yakatori was one of my favs. I tried both the beef and pork belly and they were both delicious. You could really taste the smoke from the charcoal. This item did require a little waiting. They had a wide variety of items for dessert, including fruit and cakes, a chocolate fountain, and even sherbet. I didn't get a chance to try the stations where you get to make your own soup or stirfry but they look good. Items I would avoid: Crawfish was dried out. Crab dishes aren't worth the effort. Pizza of course. Cons: You will eat way too much.

I was really excited to try this place since it was new, but unfortunately ended up a little disappointed. They advertised sushi, but there were barely any sushi selections available. There were one or two items I really wanted to try, but they were finished and never restocked while we were there. Some of the food items were hit or miss in terms of taste. The overall concept is great though since they offer a variety of foods, and the dessert section was nice, especially the chocolate fountain. I would still suggest trying it once to see how you personally like it. It just probably wouldn't be a place we would return to, but I'm still glad we checked it out.

Honestly, all of this--and more--for $28?! And yes... that includes lobsters, oysters, and even snow crab! Came in on a weekend around 6PM and the wait wasn't bad at all, which was a pleasant surprise. Food-wise, there's a lot of variety. They have dim sum favorites like spareribs, bean curd, and those cute piggie custards (I forgot what they're actually called). There's also a ramen and noodle area with different options, a Mongolian grill and teppanyaki station where they cook it fresh, plus sushi, soups, and a good amount of seafood. The dessert section is actually decent for the price too--ice cream, pastries, fruits, a chocolate fondue station, and even a cotton candy machine, which was a fun touch. Service was solid. Our waitress was accommodating and made sure we were taken care of. Ambience is what you'd expect from a busy buffet--lively and a little chaotic, but overall clean and well-maintained. The bathroom was clean too, which I always notice. Overall, for $28, you really can't beat the variety. It's not luxury dining, but it definitely delivers on value and options. I'd come back when I'm craving a little bit of everything.

$72 for two people? Dang, that's steep!! I give this place a solid 3 out of 5 stars. There is such much variety and the food was pretty good. I really enjoyed the crab legs (they kept them coming!) and the crawfish. The sushi is just okay... super tiny rolls. Dessert was not for me. Everything was really... different. The price just really really surprised me. I am glad I tried it but I don't think this will be a staple for me. Great service and really beautiful establishment though!

So today I tried the famous Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon the viral TikTok buffet and I have to say the ambience is pretty They have a variety of food. It was not as good as I thought. Also, the sushi was not a lot of options, but the Ramen buffet was a really nice touch. Also, they had hibachi the service on the other hand was not so nice. the lady never came to refill our drinks and she was not very friendly either. If you like food without a drink, you can try it out.

The COOKED food was ok. The seafood was HIGHLY questionable. My friends and I went for lunch and they had all the food already set out nicely by the time the restaurant opened at 11:00AM. My friend and I grabbed some crab that were sitting on the ice to try. First bite into the crab I immediately recognized the weird taste... the meat was "crumbly" and it had a weird flavor. I tried the crab tomalley (the stuff inside the shell) and almost gagged since it tasted so bad. No more seafood. A friend reached out to me afterwards and told me he and his family tried the lobster at dinner time and it smelled and tasted bad. I think this place just serves bad seafood... I mean it makes sense in order to keep costs down. The other items are your typical buffet fare. Nothing special. I did like some of the dim sum items.

Mm I think this spot is between a 3/5 and a 4/5 for me! I really like how spacious and clean it is here, and they definitely have a large selection of dishes to offer. But i think there wasn't really much that stood out to me! I did like their pork belly dishes and the taro sago dessert was good! They do offer a lot of seafood options like crab legs, mala crawfish etc, and I did like the herbal soup they had too! If i was in the area and in the mood for a buffet I'd stop by! It is a bit higher priced than other buffets but I think its to be expected because you do get a lot of seafood and sushi and other dishes included so I can see it being worth it! c: Service was also attentive and friendly. Overall an ok experience!

    Valentine's Promotion- February

They are having February Promotion ($17 for lunch, $25 for dinner and $28 for weekend) which is very worth it. They have a whole lot more varieties of Chinese dishes than normal buffet like King Buffet or Flaming Buffet, but of course higher price. ($38/pp) Their food is fresh and made in small patches so they always run out fast and need to wait a bit between refills. The tastes are better and more authentic (Chinese dishes, sushi, skewers, hot pot, hibachi, sashimi etc.) than other Chinese buffets around.

Its $28 without cost of a drink if you get soda or tea. Water is free. For $28 it was not bad. We came in on Saturday lunch right at 11:30AM. Everybody came for the crab legs but I didnt find them appealing. The Dungeness crab was fishy so it must have not been fresh. The other crab I didnt care for except Snow crab legs. Wish it was served hot instead of cold. Crawfish was good. the ginger scallion lobster had very little meat on it. I honestly thought the sushi and the hot chinese food options were way better than the seafood. Dim sum was mediocre and do not recommend. The yakitori options were bomb. Grilled meat on skewers but they didnt have any available for us as everybody stormed there.

    Tianxu Z.

Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon is located in Richardson Chinatown, and the location itself is quite convenient. However, the weekend price of $38 per adult is definitely not worth it. Although they advertise seafood, the lobster and crab were not fresh at all. The snow crab legs were acceptable, but everything else was just average in both quality and taste. Compared to King Buffet in Plano, which charges only $17 on weekends, this place is extremely overpriced. They also seem to be understaffed, and some of the waitresses had poor attitudes toward customers. Overall, it was not a good experience. In my opinion, it would only be worth at most $20 on weekends unless the seafood quality improves significantly.

This is my second time dining at this restaurant, and I wanted to give an honest, balanced review. There's definitely a wide variety of seafood to choose from--snow crab, Dungeness crab, lobster, shrimp, oysters, snails, and clams. Out of all the options, the snow crab was my favorite. The Dungeness crab, however, was difficult to eat and served cold; I think it would be much better if it were hot. They also offer a large selection of hot foods, but the beef dishes were disappointing. The meat was tough, including the skewered beef, which was very hard to chew. The Korean BBQ ribs had the same issue and lacked the tenderness you'd expect. On a more positive note, the snails were cooked perfectly with just the right amount of seasoning. The hot and sour soup was also excellent--definitely one of the highlights. From the dim sum selection, I enjoyed the glutinous rice and the steamed corn. Dessert was underwhelming. There were plenty of options, but they felt very typical of most buffets and nothing really stood out. Even the Jell-O didn't quite taste like Jell-O, despite looking like it. The restaurant itself is clean, including the bathrooms, and the service was great. Parking can be a bit challenging, so it's best to come early or during off-peak hours. Overall, this is an okay spot if you're looking for variety, especially seafood. However, it wouldn't be my first choice when I'm specifically craving high-quality seafood, especially considering there are other buffets with similar offerings at a lower price. I would rate it 3.5 out of 5.

I've been hearing a lot about this restaurant, and after visiting I would say it's pretty decent. It's pretty much like any other Chinese buffet but they do have a few different items. The food was decent, and the service was good. I really like the inside. It gave off very clean and open vibes.

However, the past two times we shared this place with another couple who loves sushi just as much as my husband and I do. One reason we kept coming back, aside from all the delicious food, was how they labeled their menu with the top food allergens. As a food allergy mom, I appreciated this so much! Especially when I was still breastfeeding, I had to eliminate all of my daughter's allergies to breastfeed safely. The main ones I had to look out for was gluten, dairy, egg, nuts, and sesame seeds. The safe was aware of my limitations and shared empathy, not annoyance like other places. T Thankfully I'm out of that stage so I can eat anything on the menu now. We would like to take our daughter here some day, she loves sushi a lot! But being only 5 years old, we'll need to save it for a special occasion. We get carried away when we come here. The food here is top notch and worth every penny, so we'll have to save up. Cooked dishes we always order: Brussel sprouts, steamed mushrooms, hamachi collar and miso cod. We might have gone a little overboard, but everything was incredible! We ordered the Crunchy Eel Roll, Hamachi Nigiri, and Tuna Nigiri, along with two of the EBESU Course menus. My husband had the Chirashi Don and I went with the Toro Tekka Don. Love, love, love. As you can see, it was a lot of food, but every single piece was cooked and cut to perfection. I'd like to start by saying this is some of my favorite gyoza I've ever had, including when I visited Japan. This is a must get. My bf got some calamari ring tempura, which was fine but we got a small portion compared to when we usually get calamari. There was only like 3 big rings and 2 small on the plate. I also got a Gyu sushi to try. Was it worth $4.50? Maybe, maybe not but I enjoyed it and it was a much higher quality than the beef sushi at say Kura. Now my Beef Yakisoba was questionable honestly. Smaller portion than I'm used to, the beef tasted awkwardly like hamburg and was chewy, and the sauce it was stir fried in was really sweet and thick, almost like honey. Someone might like it but for $18 it wasn't what I expected and wasn't to my tastes Bf got a Charashi bowl for $25 and stated it was mid as expected for the price. I think we would return, but IMO our food was a mixed bag.
