I absolutely love this place! I come here by myself most of the time since my friends aren't willing to get naked with me. My best friend keeps promising that she will come with me but even she refuses every time I ask her! Maybe I am just a true grandma at heart since all the grandmas love spas and they don't care who sees them naked lol! The only time I talk to people here is the ajummas who help scrub my body, my guy friends who are willing to get a bite to eat with me here since men and women are separated at the entry point, etc. I see a few girls my age frequent the place by themselves but most of the time if there are girls my age they are in pairs, which makes me jealous (and more inclined to ask my friend to come with me via text for the millionth time). Maybe I just have no shame... I am a frequent spa goer so I have the entry tickets since they are more affordable than buying regular entry every day. Although I have entry tickets to both Wi spa and crystal spa, I prefer crystal spa because of the smaller feel. Wi spa can get overwhelming, especially on Fridays. It can get really packed in there! Last time I had the kimchi stew and it was really good, although I found it odd that they served everything in Styrofoam rather than clay pots. I usually get kimchi stew since I am a OG Korean. You buy kimchi stew in korea, it is like 5 dollars. Here it is more expensive, but worth it to me. Should try it out! Also the watermelon drink is reeeeally good. This place was clean and just the right amount of people. We went on a Saturday and it was fine. I had a treatment with Soo and she was amazing. I swear she must have been sore after the massage she gave me. My neck had been hurting and she massaged the pain right out. I went with three other friends and they all had great massages. The saunas are amazing, they even have a relaxation room where you can chill with no heat, they do have heat pads on the floor. I didn't eat there, but I will try next time. Oh and the parking is free for 6 hours! I will definitely be going back. read more

As far as Korean spas go, this was one of the better places I've been to. (4.5 rounded up) I grew up in Korea, so I know all about Korean body scrubs. In Korea, I went to the local bath house all the time, but even at home, my mom would scrub me with one of those deadly mittens. I used to dread that growing up, but now I love getting my body scrubbed and feeling amazingly soft afterwards. If this is your first time going to a bath house/korean jimjilbang, I suggest you do the following: 1. Take your shoes off and wear the uniform they give you. Put everything in the locker (except your phone maybe) 2. Enjoy the co-ed area, where there are different temperature rooms with different medicinal properties (charcoal, salt, rock, ice). Take a hand towel with you since you're supposed to sweat out the toxins in these rooms. You can lounge in this area for HOURS if you want, hang out with friends, eat some food, take a nap, etc 3. Go back to the spa and enjoy the facility NAKED. Korean spa is not for the shy or the meek. If you have body image issues, you will not feel comfortable here, but just remember, NO ONE is looking at you, seriously. Sweat out more toxins by enjoying the wet sauna, dry sauna or the hot tub. 4. I highly, highly recommend the body scrub. It's total of 45 dollars (30 dollars plus 50%off on the entrance fee of 30 for a total of 45) and it is sooo worth it. The ladies scrub you back, front, side to side and yes, they will see parts of your body that even your gynecologist might not have seen. They will give you a quick massage and facial at the end and even wash your hair for you. After paying 100+dollars at Burke Williams for a body scrub that does not do anything, this is so worth every penny. 5. Rinse, dry off and go home for a nice nap. Enjoy having velvety soft skin. Reason why I liked Crystal Spa is that it's pretty clean, they use Aveda products, and it's a lot cozier than Wi spa. It was also less crowded and much quieter. Let me preface this review by saying that I'm very particular about Korean spas. I expect a lot, and I hold every one of them up to Olympic Spa - which is my absolute fave. So this is not to say that others won't legitimately love this place. With that said, here I go: When I noticed that my Groupons for this spa were expiring in mere hours, I convinced my sister to be naked with other people. She had never K-spa-ed it, but she's wooed by the free (we are Asian, after all, heehee), so she hopped in the car and picked me up at 9:30-ish on a Saturday night. Since we got to the spa after 10pm, the parking lot was totally open - nice - but even when you pull a ticket, you get 6 hours of free parking anyway. Nice! We're both a little directionally challenged, so it took us a moment to make our way out of the parking lot and into the mall where the spa is. It's not very well marked, so you may wander into the office building next door like we did. (Go towards the market and you'll be in the right facility!) We passed said market, and Cake House, and went up the escalators of the mall to the 3rd floor. Across from a karaoke-looking studio that was pretty hopping was the entrance to both the mens' and the womens' sides. The front desk was surrounded by a ton of Aveda products for sale. Though we had Groupons, we were aware that entry after 10pm would cost an extra $5 per person. No problem, it's customary to pay more at the 24 hour K-spas when you get there late. I also got my sister a couple of scrubby mitts ($3 ea). We got to our lockers and used our watch-like sensors to open them up, and a spa attendant gave us the prison-looking uniform set that you wear in the co-ed area. ALL of the K-spas somehow conspire to create these unflattering, boxy, baggy clothing sets - and this place is no different! Pros: Clean, very new-looking facility Free parking for 6 hours Open 24 hours My cell phone service worked inside Toothbrushes available Big steam room and ICE COLD shower right outside of it 3 computers for use in the co-ed area Cons: Only two stalls in the bathroom The hot pool wasn't hot enough for me, and the water smelled like mothballs Water pressure isn't very strong in the showers The entrance to the co-ed area has no door, you just go around a corner - so my sister almost walked in there naked! (No, she didn't see the sign, lol) I didn't like what the Aveda shampoo & conditioner did to my hair The Ice Room in the co-ed area only had cool air blowing from a wall unit - no ice on the walls, and it wasn't even remotely icy cold The cafe closes at 10pm - even on Saturdays After going between the steam and the hot and cold pools, we scrubbed our dead skin off in the sit-down showers area. The wierdest thing was at one point, the shower water fluctuated to salt water! We were totally baffled, because for like 5 minutes, it was super salty water, and then it went back to normal. There's no salt pool in the womens' area, and the front desk told us that the mens' area doesn't have one either. There went my theory that they drain the salt pool into a recirculated piping system. The front desk guys looked at us strangely when we told them about the salt water. After midnight, we put our prison outfits on and wandered into the co-ed area. The adjacent cafe was closed and whole place was quiet and FILLED with napping co-eds on mats on the warm floor. There literally was not a space to lay another mat! There were two people on mats in a space they created by a soda cooler, and someone even snuck into the acupressure treatment rooms and was sleeping on one of the tables. (We know this because WE snuck in there to take pics, heehee.) The one good thing is that, unlike at other co-ed spas, there were no kids at this place. If it wasn't for my Groupon deal, I would not have paid $30+$5 for entry. I'm always interested in checking out new K-spas, so I'm glad I tried it out, and now I don't need to come back here again. read more

I was a Korean Spa virgin until about a week ago. I never even thought of going to such a place or that they even existed. My friend who was visiting from NorCal suggested that we check it out. i didn't know what to expect, but it was sure a nice surprise. First, make sure you park in their garage because they validate for up to 6 hours i think. we made the mistake of parking in the lot next to it and ended up paying almost $20. Second, we should have called ahead to make an apointment. Showing up without one gives you very limited options. I had the hour long accupressure massage, which also gives you free access to the spa area and the different rooms they have. Once you've paid, they'll give you a wristband with a number. This assigns you to a locker The massage....She worked me out sooooo good. Walked all over by back, and must have been pushing herself down on the poles pretty hard to use that much pressue. It felt amazing and I was super relaxed after. I would definitely recommend spending the minimum for the massage or whatever services so that you'll have access to the spa area and heated rooms. There's also a cold room. I walked into the different rooms, but didn't stay in them as I was already exposed to too much heat from the extremely hot, hot tub. You'll have to stay clothed while in the co-ed/commual area. Everyone in the mens area was naked, so it's really up to you whether you're comfortable doing the same. It's a very chill, relaxed setting for anyone. The locker rooms and different areas of the spa are kept very clean. In the mens area alone, they had 2 staff members consistenly cleaning and organizing things. Not a place I'd go to alone, but worth bringing friends to relax with. read more

Crystal Spa is located on the 3rd floor in the same shopping center as Zion market. They offer free validated parking which can be entered off Mariposa. There is a coed area if you'd like to go with a significant other or guy friend. I love the quaintness of this location. It's small, yet new and the amenities are very nice. The restaurant provided tasty dinner options. Their body scrubs were up to par with all the other korean spas. For me, it's a toss up between this place and Wi Spa. I love them both! read more

Crystal Spa and Wi Spa are the only facilities in K-Town with a coed area called the jjimjilbang. This is where people of opposite gender gather and enjoy the amenities together. Wilshire Spa and Natura Spa are nearby, but men and women are separated for the entire time unless they meet at the exercise room. Their facilities are gender-segregated and therefore not suitable for couples. Crystal Spa and Wi Spa are both open 24 hours but have one main difference that is the cost of admission (Crystal $30 vs. Wi $25). The facilities at Crystal is smaller than Wi, but Crystal serves a lot fewer customers than Wi. So based on the user density, Crystal is much more favorable. In addition, Crystal Spa provides premium Aveeda products while Wi Spa does not, so these two points justify the additional $5 per session. The receptionists at Crystal Spa are bilingual in English and Korean, but be aware Korean is the preferred language for most attendants inside the spa. At the men's side, the sauna and hot tub were acceptable. Not as spotless and elegant as advertised in the photos, but functional. Nobody else was using the hot and dry sauna or hot tub except myself on a Friday evening, so the environment was exclusive and relaxing. There was nothing better than not encountering children who splash water or attempt cannonballs in the sauna (recently observed at iSpa in Irvine). The relax room was empty as well, so I ended up watching a football game on ESPN comfortably without the awkward company of four other naked guys (as I did at iSpa). The jjimbilbang featured four sauna rooms each with impressive mosaic decorations: ice 20°C, mud 50°C, salt 60°C, charcoal 64°C. Spending 10 minutes in the charcoal and mud rooms caused heavy sweating leading to intense detoxification. Although not the warmest environment, the salt room was possibly the most therapeutic. Hot salt rocks scattered throughout the room provided instant back relief and promoted muscle relaxation when I laid in a supine position. The jjimjilbang houses a cafe that serves homestyle Korean food. Their chopsticks were labeled So Hyang which is a full-service restaurant in the same plaza. I don't know if the cafe is connected to the restaurant. We made an attempt to order off the Korean menu but the Korean auntie behind the cash register did not understand us. Eventually we compromised through pointing at items on the menu. Note that the prices at the Crystal Spa cafe are high, nearly double those of nearby Korean restaurants. My favorite items from the cafe were the naengmyun noodles, the kalbi, and the Korean herbal drink. Consumption of cold naengmyun noodles was appropriate right after being in the high temperature sauna rooms. The kalbi was thoroughly marinated and amazingly tender. It was pre-cut with one piece was left in-bone. Out of curiosity, I ordered the herbal root drink which was essentially Korean medicine. If my taste buds serve me correctly, it was a concoction of ginseng, jujubee, and unidentified Korean herbal roots. The beverage was extremely bitter, so I would only recommend it to those who have previously consumed Asian herbal tea or medicine. Crystal Spa owns a gym located directly next to the main spa. Its admission is included in the day pass, so take advantage of it. The gym is fairly small and basic with limited equipment, but the quality was far superior than expected. Think of a mini Equinox with very low traffic but without the eucalyptus towels. The elliptical have TVs built in and are top-of-the-line. There is a full weight rack and most machines are the latest models. There were two large flat screen TVs with cable channels in the room. I will definitely spend more time at this gym during my next visit. Plan to book half a day or more of your time during your next Crystal Spa visit. Time passes by quickly when you are in a relaxing atmosphere with so many amenities to utilize. Bring in homework to do, watch a movie on your iPad, catch up with friends, use the gym, sweat in the sauna rooms, watch TV in the relax room, shower using Aveda products, take a nap in the sleeping room, etc. The goal is to just relax and recharge because you deserve to. read more

THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE *ACNE FACIAL* I had hormonal break outs along my chin and I really wanted to get it extracted ASAP. Booked an appointment for an acne facial (I believe it was around 110-120$) The price includes the entrance fee to the sauna. The facial consisted of a facial massage, upper body massage, lymph massage, facial steam, extraction, facial mask, and some sort of machine that zapped electric currents (?) on my face where she had done the extractions. Overall it was around 90 minutes. It may seem like a good deal but in my opinion it was such a waste of money. The whole purpose of me paying that 100+ dollars was for an ACNE facial! She did minimal extractions (which the next morning some were infected and more than half weren't fully properly extracted so I was left with larger red bumps all around my chin) This was my first acne facial where they did not perform some type of exfoliation! How can you achieve clear skin without exfoliating all the dead skin?! I had BRUISES on my hands and arm. I rarely get massages so I thought it was a good thing when her massages were hurting me! Woke up the next morning with bruises. I received my facial on SUNDAY and I had to book another appointment with another esthetician on FRIDAY. My skin was worse than before! When I went in for my second facial the lady that was doing my extractions was shocked. The lady @ Crystal Spa had done such a horrible job. She had to clean up everything that the Lady @ Crystal Spa was unable to do. The SPA itself is definitely a FIVE STAR! Crystal Spa has to be my favorite sauna in KTown. It is on the smaller side but since it is small it does not get overly crowded! The spa is located in a shopping center on the top floor. They offer Aveda products (shampoo, conditioner, body lotion). The spa has a hot jacuzzi, a small cold dipping pool (at most 2-3 people can fit), hot sauna, steam sauna, coed lounging area + cold & hot rooms (jjimjilbang). Made an appointment a week ago for five people, got here before appt time but they told us they couldn't accommodate for all five, only had three spots, and since three of our frds had already gotten here and gotten in, the two of us are left outside with the front desk lady asking us "what do you want me to do? I cannot do anything for you." Well, how about you book your appointments accordingly and don't overbook yourself and have to turn people away? That would be for starters. She had bad attitude too, kept shushing my friend and I when we asked her to clear up this misunderstanding they made bc apparently we shouldn't be using normal arguing voice. This was my first Korean spa experience and I was able to convince my boyfriend to come with me for a spa day. I got the groupon for $16 and this was a steal since they usually charge $30! Parking was relatively easy to find and we got validation for 6 hours so we had plenty of time to relax and lounge around. Once we entered the spa on the 3rd floor, we received sensor keys for our lockers. I accidently wore my shoes into the locker room and restroom and got scolded for that twice...ops my bad! They are extremely OCD about keeping the locker rooms clean. After I showered with the Aveeda products that they provided, I headed to the jimjilbang. I was able to lounge around in the Charcoal, Salt, and Clay rooms. The Ice room was way too cold and so I chose to skip on that one. We didn't eat at the restaurant inside since it looks like they charge 2X the price of items you can easily find in any other K-town restuarants. Overall, I had a really nice relaxing day, but I was expecting the spa to be larger. I felt crowded at times when more people showed up, and the heated rooms get full easily. read more

I like this place A LOT more than Wi Spa. Reason being that it's a lot smaller, a lot more intimate, less crowded... Prices are about the same but it's the same quality as Wi Spa... In fact, not sure if this is correct but the facilities seem a lot cleaner because it's also newer. It's the perfect size for a day after work and wanting to hit the spa... I would definitely say the one draw back is the food place is CASH only. So you just can't scan a bracelet like chez Wi. Wi spa is my go to hangout spa but since it was a Wednesday and I'm by myself, Crystal spa it is. I usually try to go to Crystal Spa on Wednesdays for their $15 half off special. Parking: address for Crystal spa is on 6th...its on 3rd flr of the Zion market mall...but parking entrance is on Mariposa. Head in and get a ticket. Don't worry about paying because Crystal spa offers complimentary 6 hr parking. Just show the parking attendant your spa receipt. I used to think the uniforms were very ugly and thick but this time around, I actually appreciate the thickness. Wi spa gives you a thinner T-shirt, I didn't feel as comfortable to go commando. But at Crystal Spa, the shirt is thick enough that going commando isn't noticeable L O L ...and it feels less icky after sweating in the saunas. The Ahjummas don't really speak English, like your typical spa. But it was cute because I asked for a towel and she managed to say "big or small?" So I said big and smiled and she smiled and we had a warm, fuzzy connection for that mere 3 seconds of smiling at each other. I haven't been in awhile, but I noticed they started providing scrub towels and their robes now have the belt sewed on. Also, I usually like bringing the small towel with me when I head out to the jjimjilbang to put over the pillows. Overall, Crystal spa is smaller compared to Wi spa but definitely not lacking in amenities. It's more for relaxation rather than hanging out...although the people eating can be loud. Crystal Spa is amazing hands down one of the best places for a lady to go to if you want to relax and enjoy a nice and wonderful day at the spa. If you are overworked, exhausted just because of the holidays this is seriously a wonderful place to come and relax. They have a six hour validation so just park your car in the underground parking lot and stay for as long as you need to. The rooms are co-ed but the sauna dry and wet and the cold pool and jacuzzi is women only. My favorite room is hands down the charcoal wood room. It has the right amount of heat and the smell is amazing. I will be back probably at least one more time before I go back to Asia. :) read more

When I first visited my girlfriend in Los Angeles she brought me here... and I fell in love. Having spent a lot of time in Japan, I fell in love with the onsen experience, and this Korean spa is as close to that as I have found. It is always clean, well equipped and stocked. The hot tub is always warm, the steam room and sauna both extremely hot. The personal 'showers' are just like they were in Japan. The common area (both men and women) is a giant tatami room with a snack counter, and several different shared experience rooms (cold room, salt room, etc...) I don't go as often as I would like, but every time I do go I am in heaven. It is pure relaxation. read more

It's on the smaller side, but it has all the shebang -- the different sauna rooms, the hot spa, and of course, the shower system with their pride and joy... wait for it... AVEDA products. All in all, it was an enjoyable experience. The whole AVEDA thing made me chuckle. This is a good Korean spa, but the only services that were worth their salt was the body scrub. It is much smaller than Wi Spa. However, it is much more expensive than most of the other spas in this area. I would put this as a good spot to go if Wi is too crowded. The person that did the body scrub was very thorough and did a great job. The masseuse, on the other hand, seemed untrained and didn't really communicate or ask questions during the massage. Not worth the $70 I paid. However, I wanted to buy two services to get the whopping $30 day rate waived. The clientele is young to middle age Korean mostly. The JimJanBang has a few self-pay massage chairs, heated floors, a couple of computers with internet, a cafe with food from a restaurant in the mall. There were four saunas -- 3 hot (wood, salt, clay) and one cold. In the men's side, the stand up showers had very touchy knobs-- either ice cold or scalding hot. There is one Jacuzzi that is not burning hot, but warm enough. There was also a cold water bath, sauna, and steam room. About 3 sit down showers and 8 stand up showers as well as a body scrub room. Seemed to be only one toilet and urinal. There was a small television room with 4 chairs that might double for a sleeping room. Plenty of towels, shirts and pants. They had a sign about using a gym nearby, but I didn't really investigate. read more

Crystal spa is understated but it's a hidden gem. I love the cozy, discreet nature of this place. It's smaller compared to Wi, but has all you need with Aveda products. Their shampoo, body lotion all are from Aveda. Tip: if u see a product u want to try from Aveda at the entrance, ask them. They will let u sample it by giving u a lil sample to take inside the spa. WOW...please don' t sell something if you aren' t going to follow through on your offer! They gave me such a hard time making reservation because they only had one masseuse (their excuse) so I asked to speak to the manager and he had the nerve to tell me that if I couldn't come when they had an opening (**like first thing in the morning!) then it was too bad! The deluxe facial was long and luxurious. She did it all---face massage, extractions, masks, more masks, shoulder rub down, a calf/leg thing that looks like a blood pressure test but for the lower extremities that I've never seen before but seems like a lymphatic drainage gadget (wonderful!). I was congested around my jaw and chin and breaking out a bit and she cleared me for what has probably been 4 months now (I'm overdue for another sesh.). Access to the saunas and tubs are included with the deluxe facial and great for before and after. I've gotten many, many facials and I'd say this felt like the most bang for my buck for results that last, attention to detail and thoroughness, and the access to beautiful Himalayan salt and charcoal rooms that you can relax in for as long as you want after the facial is over. read more

Just left Crystal Spa and it was the best massage ever -- and I've had a ton of massages in the past! I've went to one other korean spa before and it was good but this experience was next level. I opted for the Aqua Body Polish & Aroma Oil Massage and my massage lady was this tiny lady named Jin. She was tiny but she was strong! The Body Polish was great, and the massage included so much for the price, it was a much better value than going to any of the super fancy massage places in LA. First time at a Korean spa and it was an ok experience. They use Aveda products and have separate locker rooms for men and women w/ a communal room for both sexes to nap, hangout, order food and utilize their mud/ice/salt/steam rooms. Their computers don't work. Wifi is weak. Facility is clean. Very confused when they call your number for your spa services. There's no indication that if you have a body polish, that you report to the back shower area nor if you have a foot massage, report to the communal room. They really should either tell you on the PA system to go to a specific place instead of "report to the service area" or at the check in where you prepay. My body polish and hot towel massage was awkward. I was situated in a brightly lit section in the shower room next to another woman on a vinyl bed. They just go to town on you and splash water to get the dead skin off. Maybe I'm not used to it but I swear it was a different and more streamlined process back home where you're not just a piece of meat to scrub raw on a table. The massage is also done on the same table/bed. Hard to relax w/ a wet towel over your face, bright lights and a stream of Korean chatter. If I knew, I would've booked the polish as a separate service from the massage which meant I would've been in a dim, dry and quiet room in another corner of the spa for the same price where I can somewhat enjoy and relax. My foot massage was painful but I felt loose and all my knots went away. He's good! Hubs thought so, too. Our other friends did the acupressure. They actually step on you. They loved it. Summary: Pros: Clean, friendly front desk staff (more personable than Wi Spa's), no kids running around, more "luxury" (good quality hair products + face wash/lotions) Cons: much smaller than Wi Spa, locker room is small, restaurant food is not great, general area is too warm, no kids but there are loud adults (this is present at any jjimjilbbang), if it is crowded (like when I went) = too cramped, food is from a restaurant (not made at the spa b/c there isn't enough space for a full kitchen) = you have to wait 20 mins for food (i ordered kimchijjigae & it was 2/5 stars) Went for the first time yesterday with my mom & sister. It is definitely a clean place & my sister prefers this place over Wi Spa. However, I prefer Wi Spa. I think this place is more suited for those who want to shop around at the Zion Shopping Mall & then take a nice break. Also, if you don't like kids, this is definitely a good option because #nochildrenallowed (I don't mean maturity level, just age-wise ;) There isn't anything wrong with this place. This is my favorite spa. This spa has a smaller facility, but I still prefer this spa because they use Aveda products. This spa is less crowded than Wi and definitely cleaner. They don't allow children at the spa which is great. The service was friendly and they spoke fluent English which is always a plus. The spa shares a space in the mall of City Center and they have 6 hours parking validation as long as you make sure to park in the correct lot! For people who have never been to a Korean spa, do know that you must take off your shoes as you enter the spa and that you are required to be naked! This spa offers a charcoal room, a salt room, a mud room, and an ice room. The rooms are quite small but the salt room is gorgeous! I also like their jimjilbang area because it seems to be better kept and cleaner than Wi spa. read more

We were booked to go to another Korean spa which turned out to be a disaster. So my friend who has been here suggested this place. We called and was able to get an appointment right away. This is located at the top floor of a Korean mall. There is a lot of parking and they validate as well. We were celebrating my friend's bachelorette party so we wanted her (and us) to relax. We got the body scrub and body massage. FYI....you have to be comfortable being naked around people if you want to go to a Korean spa. The women that did our treatment were nice and did a good job. I felt super clean and relaxed after that I am looking forward to our next girls spa day. The facility is clean. They have heated floors and different rooms (salt room, charcoal room and ice room). I am not a fan of the hot rooms but I loved the cold room. They also have a restaurant that serves good food. Take note that the serving size is HUGE!! Small but peaceful Korean day spa! Went for the first time today with my mom. I usually go to Wi Spa on Wilshire but we had some coupons so decided to go. The facility is pretty clean and well maintained. The workers were all friendly from the front desk, lady who was in charge of the ladies floor and the cooks. The place is quite small and has minimal facilities. They only have 2 hot tubs and 2 saunas in the woman's bathhouse. In the common room they only have 3 hot saunas (mud room, salt room and charcoal room) and 1 ice room. The open floor is small and directly connected to the eating area. If you compare the place to other Korean spas yes it's small! But reviewing from just this location and the quality it's decent. Usually other spas are crowded because it's well known and have more things offered, but if you're looking for a quite peaceful place to chill and relax on your own for the day, I'll recommend this place. I got a body scrub by a Korean ajuma for the first time. They did a good job and so much grossness came off! Only down side was that at the end the lady pushed for a tip which made me more reluctant to tip her. They also use aveda products but to me it wasn't so special. This was my first time at a Korean spa, and I have to say that I surprisingly like it. I love the different rooms we get to go in: charcoal, Himalayan sea salt, red mud, and ice room. I love the food as well, and it was decently priced. The eggs are so good too! I was a little nervous to be completely naked, but quickly got over it. My girlfriends and I each got a scrub. This was my first. I loved it! It is awkward having a lady scrubbing you, but the feeling after is so worth it. I just feel so clean. The only thing I didn't like was that we can't wear any form of slippers. Granted, this facility is extremely clean and nice, but i still like wearing slippers. Do not ever go to this spa. This was my 3rd time coming to this spa. I came at 8am because I needed some relaxation and rest. I had always come during the day so I didn't know they had any time limitation. I ate lunch and got a drink here. At about 2pm they called my locker number and asked me to go to the front. I thought, what could it be??? They basically said, oh we didn't tell you but you could only stay 6 hours for the early bird. I was shocked. I've never ever encountered being kicked out of a spa unknowingly. They did not inform me of this ridiculous limit when I came in. They said "you need to leave now." I took a quick shower and didn't even wash my hair. How could I even enjoy anymore??? It took me out of relaxation mode and I promised I would complain on yelp. False advertising. This is such a weird place I feel like it should be illegal. Everyone's completely naked, no private massaging rooms and she didn't even put a towel over my ass... i had to ask and when I flipped over she wouldn't put the towel on till I turned around. I felt so uncomfortable the entire time. I had a really great scrub-down and experience at this traditional spa. I loved it! I enjoyed the co-ed saunas, but the scrubbing was my favorite. I also loved that my hair got washed, which I didn't expect. I don't speak Korean, but my mother took care of me and explained things. It's smaller than some that we've been to, but she prefers this one when she's in LA. My only disappointment was that the hot tub was out of order in the women's side.
