Just popped in for lunch. This place is huge! Great ambiance indoors with a cool vibe. Ample outdoor seating facing the little park. Chips and Onion dip to start - very crispy chips and tasty dip. We split a Detroit Italian Sausage Pizza with pepperoni. It's on a soft, light and airy French bread crust that wasn't too heavy at all and made the toppings shine. Next time I'll try the made to order charcuterie options and a cocktail. read more

Went for Mother's Day and they ran out of the majority of the menu. I ordered one of their loaded bacon Bloody Mary and it came with nothing but ice, no bacon and no veg. The overall food was just okay. read more

I couldn't wait to try this place so when someone mentioned it, I was ready. My server was great and the patio is so welcoming. We also each had a great drink. However, the food was less than decent. I ordered the whipped feta appetizer and it had no flavor at all. My mushroom pizza also was dry and flavorless. My friend got chicken and mashed potatoes. The chicken was so dry and the potatoes definitely came from a box. Also the gravy on the potatoes was all gelatinous instead of creamy. Not sure if this is somewhere I would try again, my bill came to $98 for the worst food!!! read more

The service was a little spotty (but it was a very busy Friday night, and we were not in a hurry so it still worked out to be a pleasant evening) and the noise level was extremely variable, sometimes bordering on unpleasant. Was not expecting to give this type of review...but i felt compelled to after a very nice experience. I dropped in to watch a football game at the bar and to have a simple lunch. had the MAC burger, side salad and a cocktail sitting at the bar. It was between lunch and dinner and the place was fairly empty. Everything i ate was 5*, as was the service, zero complaints or constructive criticism.... and that is rare for me ;) Was surprised to hear this restaurant is part of a chain owned by Cheesecake Factory corporate This place seems well run and takes customer service and quality of food seriously Will definitely give Culinary Dropout another try for an evening dinner with family. read more

We had dinner reservations at a nearby restaurant but decided to drop in for happy hour. The hours are 3-6. They have discounted appetizers and $8.00 cocktails. Very nice bar! We plan to come back for dinner as the menu looks interesting and the prices reasonable. read more

Came for Sunday brunch. Made a rsvp for a party of 10 which we changed to 6 outside on the patio. When we arrived, the hostess with the glasses sat us inside and told us her iPad did not say we requested to be outside? We called and confirmed with them multiple times days prior to confirm/change our headcount due to out of town friends not able to make it. The hostess with the glasses was so rude and had the nastiest attitude. She said we could only get an outside table if another party who requested it didn't show up? We ended up being moved outside by the 2nd hostess who was quiet, but very nice. However, the main hostess was not friendly and un-accommodating.. service was ok, pretty slow for brunch even though it wasn't too busy. Took us around an hour to get our food and when it came out, one of the entrees were wrong so we had to wait for them to re-fire. No apologies or a comp for the wrong entree after waiting an hour? Food was good, but the hostess really needs to have a better attitude when talking to customers, it was very off putting and condescending. It wasn't very busy when I came here for a late lunch and it seems more of a dinner place. The interior design is colorful and creative. The servers were very attentive and explained the menu to me. The crusty bread with balsamic was good and my strawberry and spinach salad had a great balance to it. I love the unique menu items and can't wait to come back soon. read more

Meh. This place would be really great with some improvements. First, the staff is half-naked. Not sure how I felt about that lol some in mid-drifts, some in barely anything dresses. Meh I felt like it was 3am at a nightclub I got the pretzel bites as I saw in other reviews how people liked them. Whoa, hard no for me! They were enormous, just so much bread, no salt and half were hard as a rock. Cheese sauce was just okay. Bad. My man got the chicken katsu sando. The milk bread is so clever! They should have pressed it a bit though bc milk bread is so thick. Also the amount of slaw and hoisin lacked. Like I said, could be so great just needs some glitches fixed. Oh and the 8 fries on the plate even looked ridiculous. I got the steak frites. The steak would have been amazing but I ordered mid rare and got raaaaare. Oh and it all came out pretty much cold . The truffle butter was so good but it was so rare I could barely chew it ugh. Didn't want to wait to send it back bc even though the restaurant was 10% full our server was too busy laughing and having fun with the other servers and cooks we had to wave her down every time we needed her, I wasn't about to go there. Myself and three coworkers had dinner here last Thursday (4/25/24) and my wallet was stolen out of my purse while sitting at the table.   We arrived at the restaurant and requested to be seated outside but were told it was too busy and were brought to the second table against the wall on the left side of the restaurant. The table closer to the hostess stand and by the window was open so we would have preferred to be sat there but as someone who worked in the restaurant business for 5+ years, I understood it may be a server/section rotation situation that made it necessary for us to be sat where we were.   Our server, Jeff, was friendly and attentive from the start and everything was going well until what I assume was around 8:30 pm when a group of four men were sat directly behind us (the aforementioned table that was closest to the hostess stand and entrance). I saw the server come over to greet them, ask if they had been there before, etc. and before we knew it, the group was abruptly sliding their chairs out and leaving within minutes of arriving. We figured they had changed their mind about dining there and didn't think much of it. At this point, Jeff had been MIA since our food was dropped off (at one point, a girl was sent over and said 'I was told to come check on y'all' which seemed a little odd but again, we didn't overanalyze) and we were trying to close out our tab. He finally saw us attempting to wave him down and our check was printed at 8:50 pm. We paid and were going to leave when I noticed that my purse, that had been hanging on the back of my chair, felt empty and that is when I realized that my wallet was gone. Our Uber had already arrived so we left and I immediately checked my credit card accounts and saw that a total of FIVE $530 charges had been made at the nearby Target as well as several $50 charges at a Shell gas station. I called the restaurant right away and spoke to Chris, the manager on duty, and let him know the situation. When I was sharing the story, he knew exactly which table I was referring to and agreed that it was shady how quick they were to leave. He also shared that they had mentioned they were 'going to take a phone call' and may have requested to be sat at that specific table which raises several red flags that I/our table had been targeted. Chris took down my information and said the GM would be getting in touch with me ASAP.   I proceeded to file a police report and the officer said he went by the restaurant around 10 pm to ask for the footage recorded by the camera near/above the hostess stand but he was told it wasn't available. Being that I hadn't heard from the GM by Friday afternoon, I called the restaurant again and I spoke to a different Manager on duty who also took down my information (why wasn't this available from the previous night?) and said that the GM was on a phone call and would get back to me. It took about two and a half hours and an email follow-up from me before Donny (the GM) called me back and shared they were cooperating with Dunwoody PD but wasn't overly apologetic nor empathetic of the situation. Perhaps offering a refund on the $200+ we spent on dinner would have been appropriate?   To make matters worse, being that I live in Houston and was traveling on business, I had to go through extra security screening at the airport the following morning as my ID was, of course, in my wallet. This review's purpose is to remind everyone to be aware of your surroundings at this establishment. read more

I really wanted to like this place. I came in for dinner and ordered the Steak Frites. I waited about 20 minutes for the food and it arrived minutes from being cold. The portion of the meal does not equate well with the price. The utensil set was also dirty and had a sauce stain on the napkin. I can appreciate the ambiance and understand why the establishment would be great for dinner dates or brunch on the weekends, but with the dim lighting, you just might miss the fruit flies flying around your drink/meal. I wouldn't recommend sitting by the kitchen because you'll have staff standing around your table, making it a bit awkward to enjoy your time there. Another thing to note, there may be people standing by the bar waiting for their drinks so you'll have a nice view of someone's back side or multiple for a portion of your night. And yes, they could have just ordered from their waiter/waitress and waited patiently by their table. read more

Ate lunch here for the first time. The ambience was relaxing and upscale. There is a full service bar and big screen TVs at the bar. The wait staff was very accommodating and attentive. I ordered the fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans and a biscuit. The fried chicken arrived hot, crispy and delicious. The mashed potatoes were creamy and well seasoned, covered with a rich brown gravy. The green beans were lightly steamed, still a bit too firm. The biscuit was light, fluffy, and delicious.
