I like Curry Pizza House and is my go to Indian Pizza restaurant. Ordering is quick and simple and usually ready for pick up in 30 minutes. I've been several times but have never seen any one dining in. I did run into fellow elite friend Steve T. there once. Plenty of parking right in front of the restaurant. Had two delicious personal pizzas. We never had curry pizza previously, we were pleasantly surprised at the new flavors. One was a chicken marsala and the other called a shahir paneer, both very good, the chicken marsala being the best. I cannot have dairy so they have vegan cheese available for my chicken marsala pizza. Taste like the real cheese! The place was super clean and I went in for pickup. The chicken had a strange texture, very soft like it was a veggie-chicken, nearly Paneer-like, but diced small I couldn't tell and it was tasty either way. I liked! Curry Pizza House has started popping up many locations in the Bay Area in recent years. We decided to give this newer location a try after having a craving for Indian Pizza, and noticing they had a check-in offer for a Yelp discount. Located within a less than impressive lot of small businesses, it does stand out as the most impressive store. The interior is standard fare, and nothing to write home about, but it was serviceable. The prices for an Indian Pizza was comparable to other locations in the area, leaning toward a slightly pricier tag than more well-known chains. So why five stars? The food itself is fantastic. It reminded me of my first experience with these fusion pizzas in Fremont at another establishment, and I only later learned that they're actually in business together which explains a lot! We always order it with thin crust, as it really allows the quality of the individual ingredients to shine. They really pile on the toppings without overwhelming the balance of flavors, and a slightly crispy and thin crust is the perfect transportation vehicle to tasty town. What really impressed us the most was the service. We had kids with us, and they were very accommodating. We needed waters, and they didn't have any cups available, so they just gave us a bunch of water bottles at no cost. I can't guarantee your experience will be the same, but this was a very big deal to us as it clearly cut into their profit margins and they didn't need to do this at all. Afterwards I shared my feedback with how their pizzas can be improved with what experiences I had, and they were very receptive and kind. If you're looking to drop by, I highly recommend their Butter Chicken pizza. If you've never had fusion pizza of this kind before then you are missing out. The menu has a lot of different choices. Tandoori was on it. I need to try next time. Since I'm with my 4 year old, he wanted cheese pizza. We usually share half and half small or medium. The guy told me they only did half and half for large or X large. Then he asked what kind of pizza was looking to get. I told him half cheese and half pepperoni and mushroom. This restaurant is located in a residential area strip mall just south of The Marketplace Shopping Center. I came here on 08/11/2021at around 6 pm. The interior was spacious and clean, and the wall mural of an alluring woman was spectacular. There was an hand sanitizer dispenser at the entrance for customer use. A couple TVs were showing different sporting programs. I was helped by the owner's daughter. I ordered two XL Half "N" Half pizzas ($32.99 each) - one American (Meat Lover's and Classic Combination) and the other Indian (Tandoori Chicken and Achari Chicken). With a 10% Check-In discount, the total with T/T was about $72. While I was waiting for my order, the owner's daughter offered me a drink on the house. She was an impressive young woman - bright, articulate, and friendly. We chatted over a wide range of topics. I have no doubt great things are awaiting her. My order was ready in about 20 minutes. The pies were still hot after a 15-minute drive home. The crust was very good - thin, light, and chewy. Both were loaded with delicious toppings. The Indian one was bursting with flavors from the aromatics used. The American one was comparable to the ones you get at traditional American pizza parlors.
