I was here for a special Austrian wine dinner. Wine makers from Austria were in attendance, and the food was delicious. Wolfgang was there and spent time with everyone. I haven't eaten there in years so now it gives me more of a reason to come back for an actual dinner.

I had the chance to visit The Cut at 99 Church Street during Restaurant Week. The Restaurant Week three course menu was a great way to try the restaurant at a reasonable price point, especially for a Wolfgang Puck restaurant in the Financial District. The space itself immediately stood out. It is beautiful, modern, and relaxing without feeling stuffy. It is the kind of place that works equally well for a business lunch, a quiet dinner or a special occasion. For the first course, I went with the beet salad. It was decent and well prepared, though not the standout of the meal. That said, the main course more than made up for it. I added a little extra to upgrade to the filet mignon and it was absolutely worth it. The steak was cooked perfectly rare, tender, and flavorful, and it felt like a proper steakhouse level entrée rather than a scaled back Restaurant Week portion. Dessert was a classic cheesecake, which was rich and satisfying and a nice way to end the meal. Service throughout was excellent. Attentive, professional, and well paced, with staff checking in at the right moments without hovering. Everything came out smoothly and on time, which made the overall experience feel polished. Thanks to my Amex credit, I have been making more of an effort to try different restaurants, and this one is a clear winner. It is a very nice gem that also happens to be conveniently close to my workplace, which makes it even more appealing. Excellent food, great service, and a beautiful setting make this a place I would happily return to.

We were there for Father's Day, and the service was excellent despite how busy the restaurant was. The food arrived fairly quickly. We ordered the porterhouse steak and the New York strip. The strip was a bit smaller than expected, but the porterhouse was exceptional both in flavor and presentation. Having it carved tableside added a special touch to the dining experience. Overall, we had a wonderful meal and would gladly return for another special occasion.

Came to Cut as a treat to myself for my birthday and supremely pleased by the experience. The atmosphere is very chill and a hint of music in the background. The hostess gave a warm greeting at the door. The waiter went to through the menu throughly and I ended up ordering the Tomahawk Steak medium rare and sliced by the chef. It was cooked immaculately and looked sooo good. All the food was amazing I just devoured most of it but took a little something. The mashed potatoes go perfectly the steak. I combined the potatoes with the mushroom was so delicious. Will definitely be back here, good vibes.

Had a great experience at Cut. Came for a work dinner and they were very attentive to our needs. Did they upsell us a on a few items? For sure lol. Our server was amazing! I wish I remembered her name because she absolutely killed it. It was myself and 8 men and she made me feel special in a sea of men. Food was solid! Everything was so delicious. Sorry I didn't take more pictures but the ribeye was cooked perfectly. It was so juicy! we also got the seafood tower which is always fun to share and eat. I remember the sides being good, but the jalapeño mashed potatoes were WILD! So green and tasty. Oh and to seal the deal, they give you a homemade cookie that was soooooo soft and yummy! I wish I had another one.

This was an amazing experience. I came in with my best friend and we decided to have dinner at the Four Seasons, and my sister actually recommended it. So we want to come in to try the food I had Hummus, grilled octopus and my best friend had the steak medium well done, everything was excellent. The waitress was very professional and accommodating. She was actively making sure that we were good and we didn't need anything. It was very intimate. There's 2 sections, one with the bar and the back there's tables to be seated at, and I think way in the back. There's a wine cellar which was pretty cool as well.So yeah, definitely all in all a great experience

The bar here was super impressive. It's expensive, fair warning, but the drinks and ambiance made for a great night. I highly recommend The Beet Goes On, Soirée, and Smoked Old Fashioned. Minus one star because the waiter spilled a a glass of water all over our table and us, but didn't give us a free round.

Had the filet mignon steak. It was cooked medium well which was tender. Service was nice and ambiance is typical of expensive steakhouses. The salad and tuna tacos were good too. Great for special occasions.

This place is amazing! I went here with my family for my graduation celebration and the chef did a fantastic job with the food! i ordered the filet and got it med. rare and it melted in my mouth. We also ordered a few sides like the potato purse and the brussels and they were to die for! The only problem was that I got full fast because it was so good!

Food check to pick up my doggy bag on the way out. Where do they come up with these ideas?

Back again for a business lunch, and they offer a lunch pre-fix menu for $50 pp. I had the brussel sprout salad, the chefs cut steak , and a mango tapioca dessert. All perfectly cooked, seasoned and tasty! I highly recommend and ours a great low volume venue for relaxing lunches.

May I ask if the place is baby&stroller friendly for weekend's brunch?

Yes, definitely. Saw a table with 3 adults and a baby in the stroller. The parents certainly enjoyed themselves!

Do they source their beef from Creekstone Farms?

Few of their beef cuts is; like the sirloin and rib-eye. Just be sure to ask on the day or when making the reservation. So they'll tell you which beef is.

Gallaghers is located near Times Square, but don't let the location fool you, this is a legitimate classic New York steakhouse with great food and a lot of character. If you're visiting Manhattan and looking for a traditional, old-school NYC steakhouse experience, I would highly recommend Gallaghers. If you're looking for something trendy or ultra-modern, this probably isn't the place but that's exactly part of what makes Gallaghers special. I'm not the biggest fan of the wings, but the shrimp and lobster roll is definitely worth trying. The service has always been good when I've visited, and the atmosphere is always a vibe. It's close to the Theater District, so it's a great spot to grab dinner before or after a show. There's usually a nice crowd, and you might even bump into an actor or celebrity. The steak was excellent, and the drinks were very good, but the other dishes were merely average. The salad was especially disappointing and did not feel fresh or distinctive enough to justify its price. At this level, I expect a meal to be consistently impressive, not just a few highlights among several forgettable items. The atmosphere is fun and energetic, and the concept is unique, but once drinks, appetizers, entrées, sides, tax, and tip are added, the bill becomes substantial quickly. I was also surprised that the Times Square location is noticeably more expensive than the downtown location, making the value even harder to justify. Brooklyn Chop House has genuine but the uneven execution and disappointing food made the overall experience feel too expensive for what was delivered.
