First time trying this place and it was decent...ordered carne asada burrito,surf and turf burrito, rolled tacos, breakfast burrito and carne asada torta.....the burritos were good size and filled ....the rolled tacos were ok not that much flavor...but its been really hard finding really good rolled tacos in the area and the torta was delicious..bread was really soft and fresh...i think only complaint i had was if going to drive thru it takes a little time for food to come out...so next time i come ill just walk up to the window because as i was observing you get your food a little faster than the drive thru...their menu is pretty big so it takes time to really look at it so i recommend going to the window ...but overall first experience was good read more

Come out here often to grab food at lunch and its always on point. Food - Place is very authentic with the way the burritos, tacos, and other items are made. Portions - Portions are pretty big here. Prices - Better prices than Albertos and better tasting food. Service - English isnt as great for some of the employees, but enough to get order in and they're very nice. Had not been here in years and decided to give it try after getting a burrito hankering. I don't recall hating on the place in the past, it was just kind of out of the way, as well as out of sight / out of mind. Walked up (they have drive thru and walk up window) on a weekday evening, around 6pm. One customer was walking away and one came walking up after me. Nobody was in the drive thru from the time I arrived until the time I left. I point this out for you to decide as to why. Ordered a carne asada, carnitas and bean/cheese/rice burritos to take back. The burritos were done in a timely manner and you can actually watch them being made through the window if inclined. The burritos were of an acceptable size for the price paid. The lady at the counter was very friendly. Upon returning home the wife dove into her carne asada. After a few bites she stated it was too overdone and grisly. I tried it and I could see what she was talking about, but I eventually ate the remainder. It did not have a lot of flavor, which I am used to. The same, lack of flavors, was in my carnitas. The meat in the carnitas was cooked well, not overdone or grisly. Their salsas were pretty good and added some much needed flavors. The bean/cheese/rice burrito was well made, meaning it had the right balance of all three (which seems difficult for some fast food Mexican restaurants to accomplish for some reason). Again, though, not a lot of flavors. We may try this place again in the future, just to determine if either our taste buds were off or the line cook was off. If we do I will update this review either way, but as of now it "could've been better" rating it is. read more

So delicious. Great customer service, friendly. We ordered the carne asada fries and rolled tacos with beans and rice. The carne asada fries were the bomb. I haven't had as good as these fries in a long time. Even portion of guacamole, sour cream, and salsa Fresca. The carne was tender, fresh, and flavorful. The fries were crispy. The green salsa had a lot of flavor and the red salsa packed a punch but was delicious! The rolled tacos were crispy, and the perfect ratio of meat to tortilla. I caved and gave this place a second chance, it just reaffirmed my view. I have no idea how this place is so highly rated on here. The lady behind the window was just as unpleasant as the first time, and the fish tacos were some of the worst ones I've had in Temecula. They had crappy shredded lettuce instead of cabbage and the sauce was tasteless. Came for Taco Tuesday to-go, $1.50 mini tacos, options are, carnitas, carne asada, pollo asado and adobada. Topped with Pico and real Guacamole. They were generous portions for mini tacos, I was pleasantly suprised, when the nice young lady passed me my bag, I asked if she was sure it my order because I thought it was heavy for what I ordered (2 of each, so 8 mini tacos). The limes that came with the tacos were nice and juicy. These tacos were good, great deal, will be back! I don't think any places around town has $1.50 tacos nowadays. It's just different then before. but the #3 was good, Carne asada a lil TOO salty for my taste and last time it was not this salty, but we all have different taste. I've been here a few times exclusively for the California Burrito and while it was fantastic the first couple of times, later visits just weren't as good. The portion size is great, as are most of the ingredients, but something is wrong with the guacamole. It's just not very good, almost like that spicy blended "guacamole" you buy in the grocery store. There's never any avocado chunks so it feels very processed compared to what I'm used to. I'm a guac lover, so for me this has become a deal breaker. Sadly I won't be back unless they start making their guac from scratch...or at least make it seem like they did. read more
