Da Vien I've been here many times, and I usually buy an iced milk coffee for my mom. In my opinion, the coffee here tastes very close to traditional Vietnamese coffee. My mom especially enjoys it because authentic Vietnamese coffee is strong and rich in caffeine. I find the prices quite reasonable and comparable to other coffee shops in the area. The shop is clean, spacious, and comfortable. The staff are friendly, efficient, and always provide good customer service without any attitude toward customers. The main downside is the parking. I have a young child, so it can be inconvenient when parking is limited, far away, or difficult to find. Overall, though, it's a great place for anyone looking for a coffee experience that feels close to Vietnam.

Been meaning to try a Da Vien and was finally able to today! My friend and I walked over from the next plaza over so I can't say anything about the parking situation in their plaza. I've been on a mission to try banana matcha lattes wherever I go so that's what I got. The 16 oz. was $7.00 which is pretty on par with other places that sell matcha drinks. My friend got the matcha einspanner. We usually ask for less sweet but forgot today and thought the drinks would be too sweet but they were actually perfect. Would definitely come back!

Me and my friend got the marble drip. It's delicious! I still have the coffee after like 4 days cus I don't really drink coffee much and am sensitive to caffeine but I love me a good Vietnamese coffee. This one was mixed with milk so it's very diluted rn but it's still good. The inside is so cute it looks like the interior design of my friends apt! Service was quick and coffee came out super fast.

Came here several times, this time I got the Vietnamese coffee and black sesame matcha (not picture). The coffee was great! Strong and creamy. The matcha was strong as well and balanced with the creamy black sesame foam. Plenty of seating inside and outside.

I am not a coffee fan by any means, but have been pulled into this place a couple times now and had to make life decisions. In my most recent visit, I tried their new strawberry cream oat latte - modified with light coffee and extra sweetness. This was a pleasing beverage choice. The flavor was great, the texture was not unappealing (the photos had me hesitant at first). I only wished for more strawberry whatever it is in it.. I look forward to giving this a second try to confirm my feelings.. The shop can get pretty busy but the staff is quick at getting orders dished out. Light indoor and outdoor seating for those looking to make a social event out of their visit. Very friendly employees, very clean and modern set up. I light how white and bright the walls are, it is healthy for the eyes.

Service is quick, place is pretty upbeat. Lighting in the store is great. Good vibes. My friend and I got the matcha and ube coffee. Both coffee flavors were flavorful, intense, and it is what it is--Not watered down at all. Creamy, condensed, thick, pretty caffeine packed and had a nice aroma to them. Usually the matcha at the top dissolves and mixes with the coffee but I felt that it kept its texture throughout most of the day. I also want to note that the ube was also pleasantly good--not syrupy at all compared to other places I've been to. Would definitely come back!

First time here and this has just become my fav Vietnamese coffee spot hands down. First of all you can't beat the prices, einsplanner for $6 and holy cow it activated all the taste buds in my mouth. It is the best drink ever. The inside is spacious with lots of seating (outside as well), easy to park, clean and friendly staff. You can order at the front on a self serve screen or with the cashier and the drinks come out super fast.

I'm not really a coffee person since it makes my stomach hurt, but I decided to give "Marble Drip" a try. It's good, however a bit too sweet for my taste. The staff was friendly and helpful, inside was clean. Will definitely be back to try something else.

Parking: Large free parking plaza. Interior: Decent amount of seating but well packed. Good study spot if you don't mind the crowds. Wait Time: 5-10min for drinks. A lot of workers so they make it quick. Online ordering available makes it easy for pick up. Items Order: 10/10 Ube coffee $7 - Still the best and most consistent ube coffee in LA. Perfect level of sweetness, coffee and ube flavors are both super strong, very creamy.

Banana late - Yummy / creamy not overly sweet

Had heard about this spot from my Yelp buddies and with the number of reviews it gets, curiosity finally won. Glad it did. Ordered the banana latte and added sea salt--wow. Creamy, smooth, flavorful, and just plain delicious. It honestly feels like a breakfast dessert... but with legit coffee behind it. A little indulgent calorie-wise, sure, but totally worth it. If you're going to splurge, this is how you do it. The space itself is small and cozy, with a little patio out front. You can self-order or order at the counter--easy either way. The vibe is unique and different, which is refreshing in a world of copy-paste coffee shops. Food options are limited--mostly a few croissant sandwiches--so don't come expecting a full breakfast menu. But that's not really the point here. The coffee is the star, and it delivers. I'm officially a fan. Looking forward to coming back. And Starbucks? Yeah... bye-bye. You're boring.

Ask the Community - Da Vien Coffee

Do they sell their beans? I would love to buy some.?

I don't think so but I would call and ask.

Is 30% sweetness more or less sweet than 50% sweetness? The order listed in the menu is: 50% sweetness…

Less. 25% sweetness meant it will be 1/4 as sweet as regular.

What kind of matcha do they use? Is it ceremonial?

Do you have your nutrition facts/calorie count listed?

Hi Leyna, Thanks so much for your question. We are very sorry that we have not had calorie count…

If getting the matcha foam coffee without ice, how long the foam last on top?

Hi L, for the best taste and freshness, we recommend consuming the Matcha Foam Coffee within 24 hours. The foam is at its peak within the first few hours but should still be enjoyable within that timeframe if stored properly.

What is the difference between ube coffee and ube cloud? Are these drinks better hot or cold?

I believe the seasonal ube cloud is just drip coffee whereas the original one is stronger Vietnamese coffee but I could be wrong! Highly recommend the iced ube coffee though :)

How do you say your coffee shop's name? Does it mean ice cube?

Hi Emily, You may pronounce it as Đá Viên which means ice cube in Vietnamese.…

Are the toasts like the salted egg toast still available since I don't see it on the menut?

Hi Cuong, We are so sorry to inform you that we have discontinued all toasts. However we have…

Can you add egg cream on any other drinks like on pandan or tiger sugar milk similar to egg coffee?

Yes, we can add egg cream to any drinks that you like.

    Is there wifi here?

Yes, we do provide wifi for customers. Please ask our staff for password. Thank you

    Do they accept Apple Pay?

    Yes! They do!

Can I bring my own cup?

    Unfortunately I don't think so

Do we earn points if purchase through clover app?

    yes you do!

Is there anything that can be made sugar free?

Hey Marium, we do have a few options that can be made Sugar Free! They are the Iced Black Coffee, Iced Black Coffee Macchiato, and the Oat Latte.…

    Do they have Outlets?

Some tables have outlets but it's impossible to get to when it gets crowded!

Do you guys have substitution for milk like soy or almond? Also, can you make your drinks decaffeinated?

I know they have oat milk. Not sure about Almond. For decaffeinated options, I think you can get it without espresso.

Any outside seating and is pet friendly?

Outside seating is definitely pet friendly, just make sure they are on leash

The interior is quite spacious, with vibrant yellow and green chairs that create a cozy atmosphere reminiscent of a Vietnamese café. We ordered the Mango Chè and Thai Chè. The Mango Chè leaned more toward a smooth mango purée with fewer fresh mango cubes than expected, while the Thai Chè was exactly what I had hoped for. One thoughtful touch was the presentation--the ice was served separately, allowing the dessert portion to remain generous without being diluted or taking up space in the bowl. The only downside was the seating area along the side wall. Several of the seat cushions appeared quite worn and noticeably dirty, which detracted from the overall dining experience. As a bonus, the loyalty program is easy to use through the Toast app. Simply enter your phone number after purchase to start earning points and rewards.

Soft jazz music played throughout the café, creating a peaceful ambiance that made it easy to settle in and enjoy the space. One of my favorite things about this café was the variety of drinks available. There were so many interesting options to choose from, and I decided to try the Sakura Latte. It was beautifully presented and had a delicate floral flavor that was both unique and refreshing. You can tell that a lot of thought goes into both the taste and presentation of the drinks. The dessert display was equally impressive. The cake case was filled with a variety of beautiful, aesthetic-looking cakes and pastries that immediately caught my attention. Everything looked carefully crafted and almost too pretty to eat. Even if you're not planning on ordering dessert, it's worth taking a look at the display because it's truly eye-catching. The café is also incredibly photogenic. There are plenty of aesthetic corners, cute décor elements, and picture-perfect spots throughout the space, making it great for Instagram photos. Yummy Bakery July 13, 2026…read moreThis morning, I passed by Yummy Bakery to grab some breakfast. As I waited for my order, I noticed a homeless person enter the store; he stood in line holding a cup of noodles. He asked the lady at the front counter for hot water for his cup of noodles. Without hesitation, the lady at the counter took the cup of noodles from him, poured hot water in it, and gave him a spoon. The homeless person said, "Thank you." He then walked outside, standing on the side of the bakery and eating his cup of soup. I can't help but mention this act of kindness shown to that homeless man. I come to Yummy Bakery regularly to buy crispy roast pork Banh Mi, baked cassava, salted duck egg steamed bun, mam chung, matcha tofu pudding, and lots of other baked breads and drinks they offer.
