I haven't been here in a few years but when a friend came to town and wanted garlic crabs, I thought if Dailys. My my my. How much it has changed. What once was a short wait for your food to be cooked place is now a wait in line for an hour and a half to place your order. We waited and an hour in line we learn that they are out of crab trays (the main reason for going). They did have whole blue crab boiled with a sauce over it. The price was reasonable. We ended up getting snow crab legs, blue crabs, and shrimp. The customer service was good. You coukd tell they were tired. I found out by the door holder that a social media post had been made recently which brought a lot of people to the store. This explains the running out of food and the fact that no fried items from the menu were available. Perhaps this explains why we received frozen crawfish with sauce over it. Now I will say, there is no getting this food and going to a park to eat it. You have to go to a microwave or oven to heat/cook it. Once done the food is very good and the garlic butter sauce great. This now viral seafood market with a friendly staff is well known for its tall stacks of garlic crabs. As a family of seafood lovers who have our favorite garlic tray spots but continue to branch out, it was time for us to try this restaurant. Garlic trays are a Jacksonville staple that can be recognized by their clusters of snow or blue crabs smothered in a butter adjacent substance and adorned with classic crab boil seasonings like old Bay, Cajun spice, lemon pepper, garlic powder, and a sprinkling of parsley. Daily Seafood Market is infamous for the way that they stack a visibly large quantity of crabs into a tray (vs putting them in an aluminum pan that would fit them), which gives the customer a sense of abundance while enjoying an already indulgent treat. We had the blue garlic crab tray which comes in small, medium, or jumbo. Unlike most seafood establishments that have garlic trays that we've explored before, the sizes are not a reference to the size of the crabs, but a reference to the serving size and the amount of crabs... this is an important difference if your priority is enjoying an abundance of the sweet crab meat vs a tactile experience of cracking a bunch of crab shells. We ordered the large, which was an extremely generous portion of crabs, but I have to reemphasize that is the quantity not the size of crabs. Acknowledging that it is December and blue crabs are truly a warm water delight, the majority of what amount to about 25 crabs in the $60 large tray are what would be sold as "smalls," or "lights," at other seafood spots. It's truly a matter of preference - I'd rather have two or three meaty, jumbo blue crabs in one sitting rather than exceeding my daily recommended sodium intake eating half of a large tray (so 10-13 widdle crabs). I think the large and jumbo orders are great for pedestrian crab consumers eating them socially like crawfish. Also unique to this establishment - they season the crabs when they boil them, so I recommend getting your butter seasoned on the side. They are more salt than garlic. We will visit again for fried seafood. Their line is out the door every day, so your mileage may vary based on your preferences. read more

The pricing was very reasonable for the amount of food, and the flavor was really good across the board. They're definitely getting busier, so be prepared to wait in line, but it's worth it. Saw blogger taking about this place. Went to try it. There were almost no people. Two of them left without ordering. Place is not clean. We ordered crab legs, blue crabs, mussels and crawfish. Paid $130 What we got- frozen seafood covered with sauce. It took us an hour to warm it up in the oven. The taste is not that bed, but because it was frozen, texture is not that great anymore. Overall if you want to have large portion and the medium quality food, that place would be ok. But for me - that was my first and last visit. read more

The restaurant is clean the crabs look good. The owner is rude and nasty. l asked him if they gave a military discount he said, "how much of a discount do you want? And kept fussing inaudible" I did not buy the crabs l don't not spend my money with individuals that are rude to me. I ask about a military discount often most people just say no. The fussy response is not necessarily. I would never spend my money at this restaurant. I'm glad l walked away and let him keep the crabs. read more

I couldn't wait to try to see what all the hype was about on social media. I ordered 2 garlic crab trays, 1 snow crab tray and 1 jumbo shrimp tray and 1 large bottle of their house made garlic herb sauce. Total $165. The crabs were much smaller than expected. Medium was all they had available. Because All the food is precooked and chilled, the flavor doesn't penetrate any of the food and shells are stuck to the shrimp. The owner was polite to me, but I saw him get a little sassy/testy with others who were simply asking questions (as the sign instructs them to). The store was clean from what I could tell. My husband and I returned the same day and tried the seafood combo with shrimp, fish and fried chicken and fries. Everything was tasty hot and fresh. Plenty of food for the price.
