I love these tires and price wise they were the best deal. I used snap financing, and if you question if it's one of those not so great financing it's not but you can do the 100 days same as cash deals which is a good deal and if you go a lil over you still won't be killed in interest. Call Dave and talk to the guy, he will be straight with you and he can explain the snap financing thing if that's the path you wanna travel. I got my tires 20 bucks cheaper then any where else I looked and if you know the tires I got then you know deals don't come often on them. I spoke with Chief, who patiently went over so many options with me for almost 3 months, until we eventually found the perfect wheel and tire combo for my new Malibu. Fast forward a few weeks, and a warranty issue came up with one of the tires. All it took was a phone call, and on my next day off, I was in there getting my tire replaced. This is grade A customer service that you just cant get from a big chain store. I'm already working with them for a set of wheels for another one of me cars, as well as suspension for my classic. BAD MISTAKE :-( Google Defines SHYSTER as a person who uses unscrupulous, fraudulent, or deceptive methods in business. 1. NOTHING WENT RIGHT WITH DAK WHEEL and TIRE in BREA. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!! Installation Day was a DISASTER :-( BAD NEWS ALL AROUND WITH DAVE @ DAK Wheel & Tire. DID NOT ACCEPT HIS WHEELS and his FAULTY INSTALLATION AND MODIFICATIONS TO MY MERCEDES. 2. Two weeks before, I paid his FULL asking Price for the (4) TSW rims and labor to install on my Mercedes CLS55. 3. Dave always told me previously that he would NEVER install those "Cheap Chinese eBay Lug-Centric Wheel Spacers on any car". He decided to install on MY CAR after I get there!! 4. After I get there he tells me that the FRONT WHEELS DON'T FIT MY CAR after all and he needs to install those Cheap Chinese "LUG-CENTRIC Wheel Spacers" to crappy modification to my $105,000 car and for me to try it!! Mercedes-Benz and EVERYONE else - INCLUDING DAVE only 2 weeks before said: HE NEVER INSTALLS e-BAY LUG-CENTRIC FLAT SPACERS ON ANY CARS!!! I'm 70 miles and 90 minutes away and he wants me to drive away today with them and live with these TOTALLY SCREWED UP CAR WHEELS until I decide they don't work. Then I HAVE to take the DRIVE the 3 hours round trip back to him and pay MORE $$$ ... an additional amount for SPECIAL SPACERS TO MAYBE smooth the ride? NO Freaking way!! WASTE OF MORE TIME & MONEY with him. 5. He then said "I told you all about needing SPACERS to make the wheel work." Well, ... HE NEVER SAID I MUST PAY $35/WHEEL MORE FOR HUB-CENTRIC SPACERS for a ADDITIONAL TOT = $140 + tax ONLY to try to make use of his Doctored up wheels that do NOT fit on MY car in the first place he learned. A few weeks before I only inquired with him IF HE CAN install wheel spacers because I like the APPEARANCE of the "Flush Look" (where the body goes straight down along the tire face to the ground.) HE DID NOT SAY IT MAY BE REQUIRED and I MUST PAY IF SO and I'LL END UP WITH A SCREWED UP INSTALL, WOBBLING AND SHIMMYING CAR!!!!!!! 6. I also learned today that the Front Wheels had been "Doctored" as TSW Wheels called it. Dave explained today that by re-machining the lug holes and then pressing in a metal Insert these wheels MIGHT be able to mounted onto a different car. 7. By the time I discovered DAVE'S MESS and HIS FAILURE TO DISCLOSE EVERYTHING, he had removed ONLY 1 tire off of 1 OEM rear wheel and installed it on 1 TSW wheel. I stopped him there and said - THIS DEALS OFF. PUT IT ALL BACK TOGETHER and GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK. 8. DAVE REFUSED TO REFUND saying he installed ALL 4 WHEELS WITH 4 TIRES and IT'S NOT REFUNDABLE. 9. DAVE LIED WHEN HE SAID ALL 4 WHEELS HAD BEEN MOUNTED. I TOOK PHOTOS & TIME STAMP WHEN THINGS WENT SOUTH SHOWING ONLY 1 TIRE HAD BEEN MOUNTED ONLY. 10. Also, he broke my one OEM Wheel Center Cap tang (holds the center cap onto the OEM rim) when he removed the ONE REAR WHEEL and THAT ONE wheel shows damage/scuffing from the tire removal process. THIS CONFIRMS HIS LYING. 11. He permanently Damaged & Scuffed the silver OEM Rim Finish. I'll upload pic(s) of my rear wheel and broken center cap!! I tried to rub out the OEM Wheel damage but it's a painted wheel and he scraped off the paint during the tire removal process. SUCKS DAMN. I'm driving around ANGRY about what was a nice looking car - Dave screwed up. 12. NOTHING WENT RIGHT WITH DAK WHEEL and TIRE in BREA. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!! DISASTER MAY BEFALL YOU ALSO. 13. Dave sounds like a FAIR man. He's 60 +/- years old it appears and knows about wheels and cars. He uses his knowledge to manipulate you when he wants something ($$$) and he will drop any ethical business practices "BS STORY" he gives you/me trying to slide the deal along past you like he did me. I caught him right at the last moment in a matter of minutes but he decided that he wanted to keep my money despite our agreement using deception. 14. He says for me to come and pick up my wheels after all this! He doesn't want them and only wants your money.... G R E E D. 15. I texted him the fact that along with him breaking my OEM Mercedes Center Cap that he also damaged my single rear OEM WHEEL ITSELF with scrapes and paint damage all around the wheel . I sent him a picture. And he only texted me back: "No sir we did not. I knew a week ago you would be an anal pain and almost cancelled your order then. Wish I had." "Please note that you have 7 days to pick up your wheels or they will be considered abandoned." 16. I texted him back "I understand your threats. It will ALL be considered for my future actions." First off let me just say, you should stay away from this place if you want people who actually know what they are doing to work on your car. First off I should have shopped around more which was my fault being to anxious to get coilovers on my 350z. I bought Godspeed coilovers through this place which I ended up finding out where insanely overpriced, but again that was my fault for not shopping around. When the coilovers were installed they were not what I wanted due to almost half the tire being tucked under the fenders, when I told them I wanted it raised up, they claimed it was already at the max ride height, which made absolutely no sense to me. Next they charged me 80 dollars for an alignment that they were going to send me over to firestone to have done, and they claimed is where "they send all the cars they work on to". when I got to firestone they told me they could not do my alignment cuz my car was to low. So I took it upon myself to find an alignment shop that works on lowered cars. When I went yesterday to get an alignment done at a shop which works on lowered cars, I asked them why these coilovers can't go any higher, upon looking at my coilovers they told me they were at the max lowering height, meaning they were set to the lowest point on the coilovers which is why my z was so slammed. I ended up cracking my exhaust due to how low my car was coming to find out that should have never even happened in the first place if they knew what they were doing. And to add insult to injury they canceled my first appointment the day before claiming they didn't know their installer couldn't work, so when I showed up for the next appointment on time they were running behind on a charger installing lowering springs, which was fine, when they finished the charger, knowing I had been waiting around for over an hour they were standing around the owner was holding my keys in his hand and just was sitting around talking basically saying screw me. So when I walked in the office they immediately scattered and pulled my car in. Also when I called to get the alignment taken off my bill they were incredibly rude to me. They are costing me almost 200+ dollars to have my exhaust fixed due to cracking the mid-pipe, cracking 1 resonator, bent the sway bar, and caused multiple cranes underneath my car all due to them not knowing how to install and adjust coilovers properly, but yet claimed they install coilovers all the time. I wanna give a big thanx to AJ's fender rolling in Fontana for properly adjusting my coilovers up to the ride height I always wanted and for getting my alignment done amazingly. I warn everyone to stay away from this place!! They have absolutely no idea what they are doing, or how to run a business, or how to treat customers! STAY AWAY!! read more

Dave is now dodging me, screening my calls and not responding to my emails saying he is going through a financial crisis and has not been able to read any of my emails or voice messages. I found Dave through ebay, he was selling a set of rims for my Jeep. The rims where shipped but had major vibration issues even though Dave promised me they were road force balanced. Turns out the wheels themselves were not straight from Factory. Obviously the main reason i am giving him a bad review is if you buy something you expect to receive the goods right ?
