Its my first time ordering from this place so i was like let me try it since its next to my work place so i called them i ordered chicken cutlet and french fries nothing special . I couldn't even finish the other half and thank god i didn't finish it because i was gonna end up in the ER !!! I thew up all the sandwich it got me really sick ! This place makes a good pie but the main problem is consistency. I've ordered pies several times and almost half the time they've burnt it. If it's a good day and the pizza isn't overdone it's very good. Their sandwiches are good as well. read more

I starting going here after another area pizzeria let us down. We definitely enjoy their pizza. My 4 year old and I actually make a day of walking here on nice days from up on the mountain to get a slice of pizza. We have not tried any food yet but definitely will be. My only complaint is the woman who works the phones and front. As much as we call (weekly) and as often as I go in there, I have yet to get a nice greeting. Passing through town for work and googled pizzeria near me. Up comes Danny's! I ordered a Buffalo chicken salad. Absolutely disgusting. Chicken tastes like spongey pieces of shitty chicken nuggets. Called and got my money back. The funny thing is I'm never one to complain but what really set me over the top was asking three times what was in the salad and the it came with items that weren't stated. I absolutely love this place. From pizza, gyros and dinner! I recommend a slice especially their salad pie. My favorite dish is penne sauté in garlic and oil, with grilled chicken, broccoli and roasted red peppers. Employees work hard here and the service delivers to the fullest. Used to love Danny's. Ordered there weekly for years. No more. Last few times they underestimate delivery times by 1 and 1/2 hours. Waited 2.5 hours for food. They delivered incorrect orders, forgot drinks, all with horrendous customer service on the phone. I will no longer order from you. Too bad. We looked forward to our weekly takeout. Ordered 2 pies tonite for pick up and told it would be an hour. Arrived in time and had to wait another 45 minutes. Be honest with your customers up front in Case they can't wait or don't want to. While waiting all the calls coming in were told it was an hour wait. Apparently they just say an hour so they don't lose the order. An the end they dont even apologize for the long wait. I have been going to Danny's for quite some time now and they probably have some of the best pizza around. Their food is delicious and can't be beat. UNFORTUNATELY, the chick who answers the phone has an attitude problem which is a huge turn off. As far as I'm concerned, if a customer isn't being rude to you there is NO reason to give an attitude to the customer. After being a very good customer and going there a few times a week for a couple years, I stopped because of the horrible treatment. The owner was never friendly, but I continued for a long time because I liked the food. One night I ordered 2 entrees to pick up and was told 45 minutes. When I got there, I was told to give them another 15 minutes. I left and came back. I paid so that it would be quicker when my food was finally done (otherwise I would have left). I kept getting told it was almost done. Meanwhile dozens of customers were coming and going. When my food was finally ready, I said to the owner, " Do you realize that it's been almost 2 hours?!" He rolled his eyes and very nastily said "Well we're really busy!" That was the last time I was there. Poor, poor treatment of a good customer!! read more

I tried Danny's because of the great yelp reviews for pizza but I just don't understand why these people are giving them 4/5 stars. I've been to Danny's twice now and both experiences were just okay. The first time I ordered a half cheese, half mushrooms and olives pizza which was mediocre. The pizza was bland, crust was pretty bad and difficult to eat- very chewy- but they did load it up with the veggies. I also picked it up rather than having it delivered, thinking it would save time, but I ended up waiting another 15 minutes over the time they told me on the phone. The place was dead and it was a Sunday afternoon so I don't understand why it took so long. The next time I ordered shrimp alfredo which I would never order again. It was more like garlic pasta with overcooked shrimp, not cheesy, and the entire dish tasted like old fish. Maybe they were just having two off days, but I don't plan to order from Danny's agin. read more

Food is actually decent (from what I've been able to eat with my hands) but this is about the delivery service. Food came quick but they forgot utensils leaving me unable to eat since I was not somewhere where I could get any. I called to get utensils and the host said she would send some with the driver. I placed my original order at 12:40 and it is now 2pm and I STILL have no utensils or heard from the place. Not very happy right now read more

I'm new to the area and came here because of the good reviews on yelp. The pizza was so good! Saw some unique menu items that other pizzerias don't have ( like quesadillas) and everything seemed very fairly priced. Will definitely be coming back here and trying more than just pizza! read more

Ordered a Sicilian pizza with a friend. The cost was around 14$ and they were very accommodating for giving us lots of spices (ie, garlic, oregano, and pepper flakes) for the road. The Sicilian pizza was not all thick and bready as a lot of places, but it was just right. The crust was also nice and crispy but not burnt. All in all a decent pizza. I've been ordering from Danny's since I moved into the area. The pizza has always been excellent and their other food is always fresh. Having grown up with access to La Gondola in Ramsey this is saying something I'm always ordering to take out so I cannot speak about in store service. Give yourself a little extra time Friday & Saturday as they do get very busy. The sicilian pie is great and I applaud their use of red onion on pizzas rather than the typical yellow. Their sandwiches are delicious and I particularly enjoy their chicken cheesesteak. Order it with onions (yellow onions on sandwiches, as it should be), potatoes, and mozzarella. Yumm! We just started using Danny's as our other pizza place has been disappointing. The food we have had so far has been great but the service needs help! The girl who answers the phone seems like she's working alone! Always in a rush to hang up and never thrilled to answer questions. Ordered penne & vodka was never told a salad came with it so they just sent one without asking what kind of dressing ect... Also we live 10 min away yet delivery is always an hour or so and pick up around the same! With becoming more popular they need to hire more staff!!! Tiramisu was not good at all! It's a frozen cake. After 5 years of buying from Danny's several time a week they have lost my business. I ordered a pizza with pineapple. After eating a few bites the pineapple was rancid bad. I called and the girl answering said it was probably the pineapple and offered something else. I drove back to pick up a salad and the owner didn't apologize, offer a refund, or even make eye contact. I spent 15 dollars for a small salad since I wasn't even offered a refund for the rancid pie. If the owner had apologies, offered a refund, and maybe said "here is a salad in the house for our mistake" I would still be a customer Bye bye Danny's . read more
