As always he goes above and beyond, talks to you about all your options, asks questions to make sure you really know what you want. His prices are good and he is honest. He could have easily charge me a few hundred dollars more but didn't. He gets excited about the project with you and makes sure you are satisfied. Bought some rim spacers from these guys for $45 a year ago. Never used them so decided decided to return them. Had parts and receipt. They didn't want to take them back because it had been a year since the purchase. I guess, maybe I can understand that it's been a while? But honestly since it was still in new condition and only a $45 part I was expecting that they would accept a return. In the end, it comes down to good business sense or not. Do you let a customer leave dissatisfied over a small return when your getting the merchandise back or not? I own two sports cars. At some point, I may be in the market for a couple of new sets of rims. Maybe a couple of thousand dollar purchase? Won't be buying them from this shop now. Rim shops are a dime a dozen. read more

After returning back to the other guys a 4th time to fix the wheel issue (very bumpy & shakey ride not very safe) we had to request a full refund! Went to Darkside in Chatsworth! Avoid! I called them for a time to come in for some work on my car, upgrade headlights, fogs and such, they quoted me ridiculous prices since they didn't want to do the work. Eh... If you want overpriced car parts, neon lights, tacky shift knobs, or a stupid colored Honda symbol, by all means, this is the place to go. Or maybe those little air fresheners that all the Asian kids have is your turn-on. Seriously, this place is way overpriced. I wouldn't ever buy anything from them because its ridiculous how much they charge. However, the guys that work there do know their stuff. I did business with Darkside when I got my very first car which was a 1995 Mazda Miata. I took it in to get some things fixed with upgraded parts (like a cracking OEM radiator hose replaced with a high performance one). They did the work, did a good job, no complaints there. The shop is nice and well kept with cool displays also. The problem with me was the third visit. I went in to ask about the prices of a certain part and after they told me, I didn't want it so I left. A couple weeks later I get a call from them saying they got the part in and they wanted to know when I was going to come in and pay/pick it up. I NEVER told them to order the part so I was shocked that they were calling me. I have not gone back since. read more

No stars! Absolutely zero. Kenny will only sell to people he thinks has money (actors, singers, anyone famous). He acts aloof in an attempt to protect himself from his lack of knowledge. Several times that I went to his store he appeared standoffish or disinterested. He jacks the price up to get rid of people he doesn't like. He is not in business for the regular common guy. He acts likes an as*hole. You ask for his advice and then he starts to nitpick your ride. He almost has no knowledge on American muscle. Acts like he knows everything on import rides. He said he had very busy schedule too, saw no one in the shop and nothing in his garage, and his guys were standing around doing nothing!!! read more

These guys don't show they care and just totally blew me off when I needed to buy something as simple as a headlight bulb. First Kenny told me he will call me in the afternoon after I went into the store then I didn't hear from him for three days. When he did called me he told me to come on Friday morning and I told him I work graveyard shifts so can I come later around 12:00pm and he said "ya just give me a call" I freed my schedule so I can get some new HID light bulbs on my car but when I called him he's said NO we are really booked we can't do it Friday's then I asked him I set up an appointment with you right? and he responded again "NO we are to busy Fridays we are booked all day" so I just hung up on that idiot. The shop is nasty and I wouldn't recommend this to anybody.. Find some place else. I wish I can put zero stars read more

Kenny does what he says. Had them chrome a set of factory Lexus wheel and they were ahead of due date and they are perfect. Best chrome plating I've seen in many years. Price was fair work very good. I would use them again. And I am very picky. read more
