I was extremely hesitant in shopping at David's Bridal due to the online reviews. My bridal party and I was greeted as soon as we came into the door for our appointment on Saturday 01/17/2015. My appointment was for my wedding gown, Bridesmaids dresses and a dress for my MOH. A representative invited us to take a look at bridesmaids dresses on the racks. After 15 minutes my consultant, Karen came to greet us and brought us back to the fitting area. Before my visit I took the time to print off some of the Maids dresses and Bridal dresses in the color pallet I was interested in. Karen immediately brought out dresses that were on my wish list and recommendations of dresses she did not see on my list for both the bridesmaids and my bridal dress. I was extremely impressed with how receptive Karen was to my needs through out the whole appointment. I appreciated the fact that she gave me and my bridal party the space that we needed to discuss each dress. Despite of how busy they were on Saturday I did not feel any pressure as everything and everyone were in their place and there was plenty of staff assisting the consultants as well. I have to say that I walked in with caution and walked out feeling accomplished and satisfied with our selections. If any other bride or bridal party ever had a bad experience in the past then I can honestly say it has been rectified. Also, keep in mind planning a wedding is stressful enough, don't shy away from scheduling one appointment for a Bridal dress and a second for Bridesmaids dresses. Never the less, My mother was happy, my bridesmaids were satisfied and most important I was happy. I highly recommend David's Bridal in Nashua, NH to any bride!!! I had a wonderful experience at this David's Bridal store. I worked with Esther and she was amazing. So patient and supportive of my needs and didn't make me feel rushed in making my final decision. I felt so fortunate to work with her. Everyone at the store was very helpful and supportive and I look forward to going back for my alterations to see them all. I've never been a bridesmaid before, didn't know how this is supposed to work. It helped to have a relative there with me dedicated to help with the zippers and clasps and clamps. As others have mentioned, there are no mirrors in the changing booths to help you navigate the dress and make sure neither boob is showing before you walk into the public hall of mirrors. I'm 4'11", the dresses are very long for alteration purposes. I couldn't walk around in front of the mirrors without tripping (think 'sack race') or awkwardly pulling up my dress from the floor. That's not how I will be presenting myself at the wedding, thus it was hard to tell how I looked in each dress. I take a size 2, I was pushed to try sizes 6 and 8 first and they were falling down and drooping from the top, I had to use one hand to pull the bodice up. Remember that the other hand was also pulling UP the bottom part at the same time. On the fifth dress I finally got to try a size 2 and it fit perfectly, except the extra footage at the bottom that I'll pay a different company to tailor. So, as others mentioned, don't be pushed to settle for something that is way too big that will require alterations that cost extra. My husband assisted me when my dress came in and I wanted to try it on. I'm physically impaired from injuries and I needed the help. He was treated fine but the store layout made him feel like a creep since he had to sit or stand in the changing area where teenage girls were trying on prom gowns. With mirrors everywhere, there was no way for him to be there with me without it looking odd. More privacy partitions would help. Larger women and girls already feel uncomfortable trying on form-fitting clothes. Shielding from men and thinner women would help. Perhaps changing booths with mirrors on the INSIDE? Whoever "David" is of David's Bridal, he was a MAN . At least if you're a male designing a changing are, remember back to when you were a boy and you had to get naked in a locker room for gym class or using a pool. How did you feel when you were undressed and other boys were bigger, leaner, or more muscular than you? A positive thing to note: it's been mentioned on Yelp that another local bridal store doesn't allow any photography. David's gave me no trouble at all both times I tried on gowns and took lots of photos in the mirror hall. We also were not rushed or pushed to decide. We were allowed to casually take candid photos on the little stage and pretend I was on a fashion catwalk. That was the fun part. read more

This was my second visit ever to a David's Bridal, my first visit I was looking for a bridesmaid dress and it was not a memorable experience but I am so glad I decided to visit again. This time I was looking for my bridal gown and got paired up with my stylist named Sharon. WOW! Sharon was so amazing, receptive and wonderful to work!! After learning more about the style of my wedding she brought over a ball gown that I would never have even tried out AND I'm going back to try it on again!!! Thanks to Sharon I'm purchasing my dress tonight!! Ladies give this place a try and you could find your dream dress!!! read more

The ladies were helpful when trying on the dresses the bride picked out for us prior. Disappointed in the store stock of the Vera Wang bridesmaid dresses- only a few sizes and colors of each, making it hard to picture what we were actually purchasing. A few girls weren't able to try on the size of the dress they were ordering. The sizes were inconsistent with the dresses in the collection, and the store try on dresses weren't in the best shape-tears, missing belts, etc. I really appreciated the sales associates matching the sale going on online, and also providing free shipping to our houses to match the online promotion, as well. All 6 bridesmaids were able to order a dress, arriving in just under 5 months without alternations... thankfully we went when we did! Alternations were quoted starting at $125 for the $200 dresses, so I think I'll be shopping around for that part since it needs only minimal alterations. Overall I left with what I wanted, but not impressed with the store stock and length of order processing. read more

I hesitantly bought a dress last month for an upcoming wedding I wasn't sure was going to happen because of the pandemic, the stylist was super sweet and assured me I could return the dress if the wedding was cancelled. When I picked up the dress, I was again reassured by ANOTHER employee that yes, returns are easy and bring it back if necessary. Unfortunately the wedding was cancelled, and when I attempted to return the dress I was told "I misunderstood" the policy and the dress couldn't be refunded. I was made to feel foolish and embarrassed in front of the entire front end of the store. I felt like nobody took the time to listen to me, or even consider that perhaps someone in the store made a mistake. I typically use David's bridal for all my formal events, NEVER AGAIN. Terrible terrible service, When you are shopping for a gown avoid this place. My sister and I went in and took us forever to find someone to help us, I use the word help loosely. She acted like we were interrupting something else. I heard this from other people how the employees are there but still when shopping for a wedding gown you look around. Almost every dress I picked up there was something wrong with, beading lose, smudges on them, wrinkled etc. I ended up buying my gown at Marry and Tux right down the road paid $1200 so David's Bridals loss not mine. read more

But my personal experience was awful, I made an appointment for my first time ever to find my dream dress,My appointment was at 1:00 pm, I got there at 12:30ish & Someone came to me Around 1:30ish It wasn't even the girl that had to be there for me, Gail was who I got, I should Gail exactly what I wanted to see & one of them was a $1,225.00 dress, but she showed me some very not my type dresses, then at the end she showed me the dress I liked YES!!! She knew how to play the game so i can get the most expensive....She left me with the dress on for a while walked away. My maid of honor & 2 lil girls also had to fit a dresses, but she was just bring wierd dresses because she was attending another bride...SERIOSLY!! Oh, & On top of that I desided to get the dress, but She said I was getting the dress I had on!! WHAT how many girls put on that dress????? I had to ask the girl at the register if they had tailor.........I literly Had to help my own maid of honor to get in her dresses.....! I'm not a person that likes conflict so I didn't say anything but trust me I cried because in general Ifelt that Iwas no one important, it felt like they were moving around quarreld. So thank you for making my first expierence like a bride looking for her dress the most sadness experience ever & its pretty sad to read all these bads review before me!!!!! I went to David's Bridal with my mom and mother-in-law to find a dress. I was greeted at the door and my consultant came up right away. Kaci was amazing. She sat me down and asked what I was looking for and what I didn't want. She picked out a few dresses and we started right away. She helped me into the dresses and explained the fit and style and fabric of the dresses. She did have me try on a few dresses that were not what I wanted, but it never hurts to try. The fourth dress ended up being the one and Kaci even helped me order my dress without a train because of the type of wedding. Or so I thought. My dress came in a few weeks later (which was a lot sooner than expected actually) and I brought it home to wait for the alteration appointment. I called the store and spoke to a manager who informed me that my dress wasn't able to be ordered without a train in the amount of time I had but that we would discuss it when I came in for the appointment a few days later. Long story short the manager and alterations manager were so kind. They claimed the mistake fixed my dress free of charge. I would absolutely recommend this place to any bride searching for a dress. Granted they made a mistake on mine but they fixed it quickly and made the appointment run smoothly. A great place to find a dress. Just make sure to make an appointment. The consultants are usually booked for appointments or working with other engagements. read more

Valerie offered me 0% interest, needless to say I received my statement with 21.99% interest rate (oh, I have an excellent 700 credit score). It is unacceptable that she lied. 3. Their Gig is to order the wrong size! she said because of the mistake they would not charge me for the alterations to take it in( she wrote it on the slip), told me to come back to have alterations, was measured and told to come back, at that time they still needed to take it in and charged me $200 to alter the bottom, after they ordered wrong size and charged me for alterations, I must say i'm very upset with them. They told me if I didn't pay they could finish the alterations, I getting married in one week, they couldn't have stretched it out oh so ever perfectly. This business is corrupt! They have a beautiful selection. However their customer service is borderline awful. We went to pick out my sisters dress for her wedding, and we found the perfect dress. We were TOLD that her dress and the other bridesmaids dresses must come in 6 weeks before the wedding to be altered, it was even written on the card they gave us. We thought that was a bit soon, but they are the professionals. We called well before the 6 weeks to set up the appointment and they told us we were TOO LATE. This left us scrambling to find someone reputable who could help us. Great selection, but beware of alterations and timeline. We won't be back to this location. read more

First, let me say that I purchased my wedding dress from David's Bridal and had a wonderful sales associate that went above and beyond. However, the ordering of the bridesmaid dresses has been horrible. Both of my bridesmaids ordered their dresses at the same time. They both liked one particular dress that came in a short and longer version. We ordered one of each. My Maid of Honor received the correct one, however my bridesmaid did not. We immediately called the store, they told us what was ordered (Which was correct, we ordered the correct dresses according to their system), however, that is not the dress we received. We had the receipt for the correct dress that was ordered. We were told it matched what was in their computer. The store then proceeded to charge my bridesmaid another $50 telling her that she was charged for the shorter dress (the wrong one that we received) which I don't understand because the correct dress was in David's Bridals' system correctly when we ordered it. This was a store issue, not a customer issue and yet we had to pay more to order the correct dress that we ordered correctly to start with. We called and spoke to the Store Manager. She again repeated what we had originally ordered, which was the correct dress that matched our receipt. We told her what happened, we received the short dress not the long dress. Her response was "Well you ordered the long dress". Yes we know what we ordered, we have the receipt for the dress we ordered and paid for. She the just said she didn't know what happened. Again we brought up the issue of my bridesmaid being charged another $50 if the dress they show in their system was the correct dress in the first place. She didn't understand why that would happen, but did not offer a refund or any solution to the issue. To make matters worse, the dress is back ordered until sometime in August. Luckily, my wedding isn't until the end of September, but I find this very concerning. This is supposed to be a happy time for a Bride, however, this experience has been nothing short of stressful. Unfortunately, I will never refer anyone to do business here after this. They have not even tried to make it right. read more

I showed up to David's Bridal feeling pretty nervous about finding the right wedding gown. I didn't make an appointment and my ideas for what I wanted were all over the place. Luckily, the shop was able to fit me in and within two minutes of entering the store, I was introduced to Liz, my consultant. I can't begin to say enough about Liz! I had five outspoken and opinionated women with me. And I was practically clueless about what I liked. Ballgown...no, maybe a mermaid, no maybe an illusion back... I literally had no clue and wasn't liking much of what I put on. And neither did my family (did I mention they were outspoken?) Liz was GREAT!! She listened to me, pulled many different styles and remained calm, polite and interested throughout. She eventually pulled one I never would have dreamed to try on. But I am SO happy I did! It was THE one! She was able to hear through all the noise and find exactly what I was looking for. And she remained positive, upbeat and focused on what I liked/disliked without getting overwhelmed by my family. Truly a wonderful consultant who made my day there and found me the PERFECT gown (and within my price point!) Hats off to you, Liz! Thanks so much :-) read more

!DO NOT GO HERE! Went in for an appointment this past Tuesday for prom dresses and was greeted and told to have a look around. Upon finding our dresses, my friends and I went to try them on with minimal to no assistance from the associate as she was helping many others as well. After finding a dress, I purchased it with no problem and asked about the return policy in case of needing to do so. All was alright until I needed to make the return (well within their 14 day policy). I called prior to going in and was assured that the money that I had spent using my debit would be refunded immediately or within a day. I made it down there and returned the dress and got the receipt for the return and again was told that my money should return back to my account right away. 3 days later the money has still not been returned to my account and I have been playing phone tag with the store between being put on hold for lengths of 15+ minutes at a time and being given attitude from whomever is picking up the phone. I called my bank to assure this was not on my end and they said they had not received anything regarding David's Bridal. I called back the store and after arguing about when I went in and how much I spent, she agreed to look up my transaction and call me right back, after an hour and a half I called them and she said she was busy with other customers and would again, call me back. Within 30 minutes she called and said she found my transaction but my money would not be refunded until 7-10 business days unlike what I had been told prior. Worst experience ever. read more

The day of the wedding we were all getting changed in the bridal suite and we noticed one of my girls dress was completely different than the rest of the girls! Went to David's Bridal, which is a short step away from Daniel Webster Highway. I've been here several times recently looking for a dress and looking to perhaps find some shoes to dye. Online choices abound, but the store, itself, has very few non-sandal options. This location has a half-way decent array of bridal dresses as well as reasonably priced mother-of-the-bride offerings. There's a huge sale rack with last-season's styles, but everything is in order. Available accessories include the typical tiaras, bags, and hair ornaments. They could actually invest in mirrors in the dressing rooms, as it appeared the only ones were outside the rooms. Sales people were running around, but not one offered to help. Am thinking that maybe I really am invisible. I looked through the selections and tried on a few pair of shoes, but not one person came by to offer any assistance. Seems that the other Yelpers agree that service is poor. Maybe helping a customer scout out a pair of shoes wasn't as cost-efficient as it was to help would-be brides hunt for a perfect dress. I found shoes somewhere else, so I will likely never step into this place again. Buh bye. Two stars because I'm feeling kind. read more

I went to David's bridal not expecting much, in fact I have had a backup appointment scheduled at a bridal boutique the next week. However, I bought my dress at David's and have to say that I was treated like a princess. I spent over 3 hours there, my sales person gave me the best service I have ever had. Moreover, the two managers on duty kept coming to me and asking me what other dresses I'd like to try on and what I have in mind. In the end I found the perfect dress that made me, my mom, the sales lady and the two managers cry. :) I'm not sure about all the other negative reviews, but I have to say my experience was very positive. We found our bridesmaid dresses here... it was nice to be able to go around the store and pick out various dresses. It's great that most dresses come in a bunch of colors. Unfortunately, the woman working really pushed anyone who perfectly fit into a dress to get a larger size... so though a 0 fits me I got a 2 because the brand new dress would fit more snug. Seems like a scam to get $$$ in alterations. After I went somewhere else for alterations because I don't live in Nashua the seamstress said just that^ so thanks to them I have to pay another $75-80 on alterations. Very busy store. read more

This place is ridiculous no matter what day you go- unorganized, rude and unprofessional are just a few words to sum up my few experiences I have had at this location. I did not buy my wedding dress here but went with my friend who was looking for her wedding dress as well as our bridesmaid dresses. The sale associate talked down to us the entire time and never made it an enjoyable experience. She had the bride go off and look for dresses and never once asked if we needed help, what the bride was looking for, the style she liked, etc. The place was SO swamped that no matter what way you turned there were people in your way and the dressing room area was extremely crowded. The sale associate was around for the first dress and then disappeared to help other bride's trying dresses on. It wasn't until the bride picked her dress that the sales associate magically appeared and repeatedly told her that if she liked the dress she HAD to buy it that day or chance never being able to get it. We then went back a few months later with all the bridesmaids to look at dresses. The bride was instructed that she had to make an appointment with the same woman who was assisting us with her dress- so we were already prepared for a bad experience. Again, she was nowhere to be found the entire time and we were basically on our own. As when the bride found the dress she liked, the sale associate pressured us into paying for the bridesmaid dress in full that day. I even mentioned, why don't we all just take a day to think about it and make sure there isn't anything else we would want. Same story- if you don't order today you chance not getting it.. blah blah blah. So of course this made the bride nervous and we ordered our dress that day. The sale associate also stated that we should all order a size UP from the size that fitted us in the store because the samples in store "stretch out". I'm sorry- but this seems as another ploy to have people buy too big and be forced into paying for alterations. I ordered the size that fit me in store and it fit exactly the same when I got my dress in. This wasn't the worst part- the sale associate was SO RUDE that we are standing in the middle of the dressing room area and she is having each of the bridesmaids call out their sizes in front of everyone- not only the girls in the wedding party but other people trying dresses on. We had one person that was a size 16 and one that was a size 2 and it was the most embarrassing experience I have ever had. I felt so incredibly bad for the size 16 bridesmaid because it devastated her. Our dresses finally come in and I go to pick mine up. I take it home to try it on and the fabric on one side of the top is completely pushed out. I go back to the store to have their alterations person look at it to see if it was fixable- come to find out the boning on the instead was sewn 2 inches too far to the left and couldn't be fixed. I had to return it and re-order the dress. The person at the register was so incredibly rude to me that it made my blood boil. If it was my wedding, I would have returned every single bridesmaids dress AND the wedding dress. My new dress came in and it still was sewn together improperly. The quality of the bridesmaid dresses is ridiculously cheap. This is not how your wedding dress shopping experience should ever be. It is supposed to be a joyous time where your first wedding memories begin. There was nothing but frustration, aggravation and anguish. Save yourself the mental aggravation and take your business anywhere but here. read more

Just bought my beautiful wedding dress here. Personnel hung around trying to sell me photography packages while I was trying to enjoy dress shopping. But the worst, worst interactions came when I went to get my dress altered and when I went for my final pick up. Ann in alterations was clipped, negative and incredibly overbooked both times. Alterations are done in a tiny, gross room. She insisted that my dress has been pressed/steamed and was "wedding day ready" but it had NOT been steamed, it had sharp creases and wrinkles everywhere. I should have known, because the girl ahead of me in alterations was crying as well. Terrible. Also, a hem and a bustle alteration cost $370. Oh, and all sales are final, including veils, accessories, etc. read more

I have to say that this may have been the worst customer service I have ever had. I called and made an appointment 2 weeks in advance. The girls and I arrived and were greeted with an ummm we will find someone to work with you, like they weren't expecting us. Then we were given the 1 minute speech of this is where you should stay to look for dresses and we were left to claw through racks of dirty dresses, many were ripped, claps and zippers broken. Our customer service woman came and swooped in occasionally and offered to take the dresses chosen to a location of a crowded unorganized zoo of dressing rooms. Once the girls finished looking through the racks, our person was no where to be found, however we did see 3 employees chatting it up on the middle of the room. Taking it upon ourselves to find our assigned dressing room, there were no dresses to be found. Essentially the hour of clawing and finding the size and style to try on was a complete waste as the lack of communication between employees discovered that someone had removed the dresses chosen and put them back on the rack. Our person apologized and expressed a half assed , "I will help you look for them, what did they look like?" Lady you took each of them from us and hung them up. There were no clips offered for those dresses that were too big to be able to get an idea of what they would look like if they fit. Then once dresses were decided upon our person frantically looked for the paper she misplaced when we first arrived. I later called to speak with the manager, which of course was filtered by an operator who wanted to know why I wanted to speak to the manager. Eventually the manager got on the phone, I explained the events and poor service received. She offered excuses, it was busy, employees called out, the person was really upset, we are sorry, and even you should come during the week when it's not so busy after learning we drove 2 hours to get there today. There was no, we will do anything to get you to come back like a normal public establishment would do. I wouldn't recommend this branch to anyone. They were horrible!! read more

This was the first place I went looking for a dress, and I went with the intent just to try stuff on to see how it fit. I thought I had found the dress I wanted online, but wanted to see how different cuts and styles fit before doing any online ordering. I had a really nice experience at David's Bridal! I did go on a Sunday, which is an extremely busy day for this particular store. If you don't like hustle and bustle then take a day off work an go mid day during the week. They were timely with my appointment, and the woman helping me was attentive to what I tried and liked and did not like. David's Bridal is are definitely more laid back; this is not a store for wedding divas or Bridezillas, but this worked very well for me and made the atmosphere more comfortable. The associate ended up pulling a dress that I fell in love with and bought for my wedding day. The dress is beautiful and didn't end up breaking the bank, either. No one was pushy about purchasing additional items other than the dress and undergarments I chose, which was nice as well. It is true that they do not go into the fitting room to assist you in getting into the dress, though if you ASK for help it is gladly provided. While not as easy to get into as a normal every day dress, I found it possible to get in and out of the wedding dresses on my own pretty quickly. In all this was a great experience. Again, I don't see wedding divas or Bridezillas liking the atmosphere or set up, but hey. There's a boutique for everyone. read more

I find it hard to believe any bride has has a good experience here. I even tried going twice - thinking that maybe my first experience was due to the awful representative I had working with me. I went here first, shortly after my engagement in March, because I know these dresses are pretty and reasonably priced. I walk in with a list of my favorites from their website. They had 2 dresses that I could try on and the rest of my favorites they said were discontinued or they couldn't find them in store. My friend helped me get in and out of dresses, hung them up, and clamped them when they were too big - with no help from our sales lady. Since they could not provide me with one dress I was really interested in, I left. I went to a few other places and had reasonable experiences - but some of the prices were too high. So I decided to try again in August. Most of the dresses they said were "discontinued" back in march - were still posted on their web-site. I picked a few more dresses to try on and headed back to Nashua. AGAIN - out of 12 dresses I picked from online - they did not have 1 in store to try on. They couldn't even find dresses similar to the ones I had picked out! How does this place stay operational? I guess if you go in with no expectations and happen to find a dress you like they have in store - it could work. But by no means go into this store with your style and something specific you're looking for- because they wont have it! On top of a horrible selection, they help they provide is just horrendous. These girls have no experience in fashion - or styling certain body types! Go somewhere else. The dresses may be cheap - but so is their customer service and selection. read more

I am a bridesmaid in my friends wedding next year. We went to David's Bridal with our small wedding party to assist my friend in picking out her wedding dress. She booked her appointment ahead of time for a Saturday morning at 9:30 am. There was a line at the door waiting to go in, and the door didn't officially open until after 9:30 am. The staff then apologized for the wait as people were lining up to check in for their appointments at the front of the store. My friend checked in and was given her name tag and told to wait up front until her dressing room was ready (she booked the room from 9:30 am-11:30 am). Finally, after waiting about a half an hour for a dressing room, our consultant found us. Our "bridal consultant" had the personality of a rock. I am assuming that they were overbooked that day because our consultant was never anywhere to be found when you needed her for anything, and was hardly bringing over any dresses for my friend to try on even after her creating an online profile with multiple "favorite" dresses and styles saved. There were other brides in the store who appeared to be getting more direct attention from their consultants (and from ours), while ours seemed to always be MIA. Our party was becoming very frustrated with the lack of response from our consultant, and lack of dresses that were being brought out. We asked her if it would be ok to look at some dresses for our friend to try on...she said that it would be fine, just NOT to take the dresses off of the rack. The minute that we went over to the racks and started LOOKING at some dresses for our friend to possibly try on, we were immediatly yelled at by the dress police like we were children. I'm sorry but you don't scream at an adult or a customer like a child. We were scolded like two year olds and told to get our consultant if we wanted to look at dresses. So in the hour and a half that we were there, my friend probably tried on five to six dresses, one of them being a dress that she had saved to her David Bridal's online profile. So, we are trying again in another two weeks at the location in Danvers, MA. It is disappointing, as our party traveled an hour + to the Nashua location and adjusted our work schedules to attend, only to be treated rudely by the staff and not have any actual time to try on or LOOK at dresses. I didn't know you weren't allowed to look at dresses at a Bridal Store (what was I thinking). I would give them a 0 if I was able to rate it that low, for customer service alone. read more

I had never been to David's Bridal before, the minute I walked in it was very busy and crowded. Before arriving I went online thinking I needed an appointment so I tried calling but no one picked up the phone and tried to get in touch with costumer service but there was no help. So I went for it as a walk in. Along with it being crowded it was very hard to move around without bumping into someone else and their dress or entourage . Upon walking in I, along with my guardian, were told that we needed to have a scheduled appointment to get a fitting room but we didn't want to leave and find somewhere else to try on dresses so we opted to putting my name on the waiting list. Other than the lack of information about needing an appointment and waiting for about an hour for a fitting room I did have a good experience. Noelle was very helpful in guiding us through the process of buying, getting money off and alterations. I ended up with a great prom dress and I am very thankful for the help I did receive. read more

You have to go in with realistic expectations. Their dresses aren't the best out there but you get good value for your money. My consultant was extremely pushy and I didn't like that she kept giving me her 2 cents on the dresses I picked. I went in with style numbers and handed them to her asking to please find my size. We haven't always had the best service at David's, but Doreen from the Nashua Location saved my sisters wedding. One of the bridesmaids dropped out of the wedding last minute and she asked another girl to fill in. Long story short, we needed a new bridesmadi dress in 3 weeks. Doreen went above and beyond to get the size and style that was similar to the other girls in a timely manner. She took a really stressful situation and handled it with empathy and care. If I could I'd give them no stars. We had a bridal appointment and our woman kept helping other people. We kept having to go looking for her. She was not very nice either, seemed as though we were bothering her. The dressing rooms are tiny hot cubicles and they don't even offer you water. Also they only had one dress in the style I wanted (mermaid with lace overlay, boat neck with a cap sleeve, fairly in-style at the moment), in the wrong size and it looked horrible on. I felt frustrated, defeated, hot, and angry when I left. Not the experience I'd want for even my worst enemy. Most of the bridesmaid dresses were outdated and hideous and they didn't even have my color which is also very popular right now. In conclusion, don't go here. I had good luck here. I came alone for my wedding dress. The lady I worked with wasn't pushy, but then again, I told her I knew what I wanted style-wise and I wasn't open to other suggestions or opinions. The were courteous, but not particularly helpful. My dress came in months later- as promised- and I was pleased with it. The price was right. If you like to shop without salespeople up your rear end, come here, you will be a fan. Update: my dress came in fast! It arrived and I picked it up about a month after I ordered it. My MOH's dress arrived in less than 2 weeks after we ordered it. I decided to get my alterations done elsewhere because it was much cheaper, so I cannot comment on the alterations department. No complaints about my experience with David's. read more

From the moment my best friend, sister and I walked in we were given an attitude from Cynthia at the front desk post. I understand we did not have an appointment but we were not looking to get fitted or styled. We only wanted to try on a few bridesmaids dresses with no pressure. Nope, not today and not here. We continued to get attitude when asking for just one fitting room and decided we didn't want to wait the hour and have left. DO NOT GO HERE!!! I can't even put into words how truly pleased I was with how Georgia handled our appointment. Georgia was unbelievably accommodating and helpful. Beyond her tremendous understanding and caring nature she was super down to earth! I felt like instant friends making what could have been a stressful day into the magical experience. I was supposed to pick up my dress today and Davids Bridal lost it! Not only they had the wrong dress this whole time but they couldn't find my dress anywhere. I am so lost for words. I'm so mad, angry, sad, disappointed, and feel disrespected. How can you lose a dress?? I've made this appointment a month ago to pick up my dress. Just to pick up! I've wasted my time, enery, and gas for nothing. The manager (Lynn) could say was "sorry" what is sorry going to do? One job was to keep my dress not lose it considering I already paid for it. WOW. Even this review feels like a waste of time! But I wish this doesn't happen to any other bride. I'm glad I still have 6 months before the wedding but what if it was sooner? Does sorry fix things? Also the alternation department are very rude!! As well as GAIL (supposed to help you with your dress fitting and that didn't happen at all) just RUDE. Worst customer service I ever received. After reading some bad reviews, I was a bit skeptical going to this store, but I was pleasantly surprised. My daughter and I went on a Wednesday afternoon, and the store was not crowded. We looked through the catalog, picked out what we thought we would like, and Jeannie got those for us. After my daughter tried on those, Jeannie had a pretty good idea of what we were looking for, and brought us some other dresses. The first one she brought was the one that we ultimately chose, but my daughter tried on quite a few, just in case. Jeannie was very helpful and patient.
