I would review the food but we didn't get any. Me and my partner had reservations and were seated but after that we did not receive any menus or have anyone come take our order. There wasn't even a host to check us in, we eventually found a clearly very overwhelmed waitress to seat us. On numerous occasions we tried to flag down staff who ignored us. After a while we left and went to another restaurant which was the best choice we made all night. Only redeeming thing was the ski theme although we didn't really enjoy it because we were spending all our time trying to get someone to take our order. read more

Yotel Deck 12 is honestly nothing special, but the rooftop bar options in Boston are pretty slim. If you're sat outside on a beautiful day, it can be good vibes. Just be aware that most of the restaurant/bar is actually indoor with limited view. The food and drink are good, but overpriced. read more

Tried this restaurant last night and not a huge fan! Their bbq pizza was made with a refried bean base instead of marinara with no note on the menu nor did the server let us know when we ordered. Also, when our food was brought out 2 of us were sharing an item and the food runner said he couldn't bring us an extra plate to share. The ambience of this place is great. We went at sunset on a nice sunny warm day. We sat outside which was exactly what we had wanted. The view was absolutely stunning. I had a terrible experience at the rooftop bar here that was largely the result of an absolutely awful interaction with the manager Andrew. Honestly one of the hands-down worst experiences I've ever had with management at a restaurant. He was rude, inconsiderate, and demeaning. I have no idea how he was running what is otherwise a lovely spot in Boston. Even the staff there clearly seemed to feel sheepishly and apologetic about the way he was treating us and other guests. It was one of those rare beautiful summer nights in Boston and we had made a reservation in advance specifically to sit outside on their roofdeck. Unfortunately, our table wasn't available because they had double-booked a private party for the patio at the same time, and instead of calling us in advance or even apologizing when we arrived or even trying to make other accommodations for us in the rest of the restaurant, Andrew was incredibly rude, aggressive, and terrible to me and my two girlfriends and made it seem like it was our fault. I would have loved to love this place, but wouldn't go back any time soon or recommend it to anyone based on the experience we had. read more

I had a very troubling experience with the service at this restaurant. There were six of us with a reservation. After we were seated, we immediately put in an appetizer order. After about an hour our waiter finally came around to take our order. At this point our appetizer still had not come and we asked about it and were assured it was coming.Our meals came about 45 minutes later, and our appetizer came after that. So it took over an hour and 45 minutes for us to be served our appetizer. I have never, ever been served an appetizer after my meal. Or had to wait an hour to put in a meal order. not impressed... i was here last year for my birthday and had the best experience. The drinks, food, and service were all amazing which made me want to come again for my birthday. I brought even more friends and made a reservation for my birthday. An hour before our reservation I tried to call to ask if we were sitting inside or outside and if we would be by heaters, but no one answered the phone after calling multiple times. We showed up and were seated in the corner outside in 30 degree weather with no heaters. They changed their whole menu and charged us for literally everything. After 2 hours of sitting in the cold we moved to a different table that had lights and heating and no one came to serve us. 2 people from my party had to go inside and track down a waitress to tell them it was my birthday and they were very rude about it. After 30 minutes someone came out with a cake put it on the edge of the table and just said happy birthday very nasty, but they sang happy birthday to other people around us. They also charged us for the cake they got us. On top of all of this, I tried going to the bathroom and there was throw up in the stall that made the whole bathroom smell and it was there for over 2 hours. So grossed out and just not impressed. Food was okay. I ordered Mac & cheese with crab but got no crab. Service was terrible. It look her forever to come take out orders and when I told her my mac and cheese didn't have any crab she was acting fake nice and being super passive aggressive. I also didn't appreciate the automatic 18% added to the tab, especially when Amanda (our server) was rude, unnatentive and clearly didn't want to be there. "Double stack" burger has 2 patties but together are smaller than the average burger at any restaurant without a drive through. $9 Beer came in cans, which was not listed on the menu. Ordered a margarita, charged same price as the most expensive specialty cocktail on the menu. Thought that was weird, because the Tequila listed on the check was the same as in a lower priced speciality cocktail on their menu, so doesn't make much sense to me. Nachos were plain, but tasty. Worst service from a clueless host name Mike. Came all the way from San Fran, Jersey, LA and SLC to celebrate Big Sis's birthday. Made reservations for 5 at 1pm for lunch. There were empty tables outside and we had to stand around waiting to get seated. Mike the host told us those tables are reserved for a party of 6 that was coming in 30 minutes. WTF. We made reservations too and we're here! Other tables became available and other folks just moved into them with no problems. There were finally 4 tables open and we asked if we can move 2 of the tables together since there were 5 of us. He said no, we have to save 2 of those tables so we can move them together for a party of 6 that were coming. Again...WTF. If he can put those tables together for the people who aren't even there yet...why can't he put 2 tables together for us!? We felt discriminated against. We finally had enough and decided to leave. Birthday for Big Sis started off on a sour note thanks to this idiot. He actually did us a favor because we found 2 better options near by. We ended up at The Barking Crab around the corner (awesome service and seafood) and then topped it off at Tuscan Kitchen for drinks and desert (amazing service, desert, and drinks!). We phoned in and asked for a rooftop reservation and they put us down for one. once we arrived we were told that it was already booked and we had to sit indoors. It was during COVID restrictions so we were very dissatisfied as we preferred outdoor due to covid. they did not place any utensils or napkins on the tables prior to seating us. We had to ask for utensils and napkins. we were then told that they will bring us the check prior to us asking. We later find out that our reservation was for 90 minutes and that was why she gave us the check prior to us asking but we were not made aware of that diring our reservation, once we were seated or when we were told we will be getting the check. We had to ask the waitress why we had to leave and they she let us know. We expressed our concern with that customer service and that we would have appreciated knowing this prior to our reservation. She then apologized and left. Then a manager named Ben came to our table and said that "I heard you all had a question about our reservation limit". We were caught off guard because we did not ask for the manager. We then explained to him our concern. He responded saying "well it is clearly stated on our website" we advised that we did a phone reservation so we would have liked if that was expressed to us prior. He then proceeded to say that it is a Massachusetts mandate and we expressed that was fine but it would have been nice for us to know at anytime from when the reservation was made to when we were told we were getting a check. He then went back and forth with one of us reiterating that it was our fault we didn't know the policy. he was very unprofessional and when He came up to us he was not Interested In showing us any respect.
