Prime NY Strip 16 oz Chateau Mashed Potatoes Grilled Asparagus Honey Butter Bread

We dined at Del Frisco's in Seaport for a birthday and had a very good experience there. Seated right along the water, the views of the harbor are top notch. Our waiter was very friendly, accomodating, attentive, and professional. The bread starter was fantastic, rich and dripping with butter. The Chateau mashed potatoes were amazing and definitely the highlight of the evening. I give our experience a 4/5 only because our steaks were overcooked. But, still delicious.

I really hate giving bad reviews but this was unfortunately deserved. Food overall was not the best. It tasted all very average. The best dish was the crab cake. The steak barely had salt. The mashed potatoes had too much black pepper, that's all you tasted. It's odd because the food runner served mashed on everyone's plate as opposed to leaving on the table with the rest of the sides? Everything else very much mid. Let's rewind, As we sat down, there was a MOUSE by our table on the deck. Strike 1. Strike 2, drinks weren't the best. We had a great server who tried to bring us a new one but it still wasn't too great. Strike 3, we called ahead and asked if we could bring a cake. They said sure. We brought it, gave it to the staff. They brought it out for us with no silverware or plates. Thinking this was an honest mistake I went to ask for some and I was informed we couldn't cut or eat the cake in the restaurant due to health code issues? Hmmm...not sure how much health code issues were of importance with the mouse running around. But overall my experience was 0/10. Would not recommend.

Parking: lots of garages in waterfront Decor: typical for older steakhouses with dark paneling Food: very good bordering on excellent...if they only knew how to season a steak or prime rib Staff: a little slow on the drink refills Price: average for waterfront, dinner for 9 ppl just under a thousand

May 2025; romantic ambiance with upbeat music playing. The waitstaff provided excellent customer service. Food was good - the drinks will make the food taste even better. Great place to celebrate birthdays and graduations. Located in the shopping mall.

Del Frisco hit all the marks for me. I do not have a location near me but while looking at travel videos this steakhouse came across my feed. We decided to make a reservation for lunch as they have a great lunch deal for 38 bucks a person. The place is pretty empty at lunch so the dress code was a little less casual than dinner. Our server was great and gave us recommendations. We started with the crab cake recommendation and then we ordered the filet medallion lunch. Everything that came to our table was cooked perfectly and was delicious. I really liked the bread they served complimentary. This should be a standard for more upscale steakhouses. If you're looking for a lunch option and want to spend a few bucks more for quality I highly recommend.

Food is great, I had the Creamed Spinach and Sesame Crusted Ahi Tuna. S. Pellegrino with lime juice and limoncello at the end.

Has anyone been since Covid and sat outside? How was the service and ambience? Also, with rain expected this weekend, are there umbrellas or a tarp? thank You

When we went last weekend we sat outside. There were not umbrellas but the outside is totally shaded in the evening so it wasn’t needed. The service was Ok. I did write a review on yelp with our issues. The heaters are not working at the moment.…

Is here dog allowed? Thank you!

I would doubt it, its pretty formal.

Has anyone dined in the Harbor Room? Please tell me your thoughts! Was it a prime location in the restaurant? It looks opulent and inviting online!

Harborview room is private dining only. It is, to me, the prettiest dining spot in the city. You pay a set price for the room; that amount goes towards food and beverage consumption.

Given the choice, however, I now prefer the modern, polished, almost clubby feel of this location in the Seaport. The restaurant isn't particularly large, but it's a beautifully designed space. For larger groups, they have a few round tables that work especially well, including one that perfectly accommodated our party of seven. You can always count on a great dining experience at any of Chef Jamie Mammano's restaurants. His commitment to the highest quality chow, attentive service, fine wines, and an elegant atmosphere has made him one of Boston's most respected restaurateurs. Our meal here was spectacular. The cocktails were perfectly crafted, and it's hard to go wrong with anything on the menu. Standout starters included the Wagyu Beef Dumplings, Tuna Tartare, and the Dry-Aged Bolognese Lumache. For entrées, we shared several different cuts of steak, all expertly prepared and presented sliced for the table. The Beef Wellington is also fantastic here. The sides are uniformly excellent, but don't miss the Char-Roasted Heirloom Carrots with Honey and the Yukon Gold Potatoes. Desserts are equally impressive. Highly recommend both the Milk & Cookies and the Bananas Foster. I'd like to especially thank our waitress, who provided exceptional service and helped make the evening truly special. We were celebrating my son's graduation, and her warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail enhanced what was already a memorable occasion. I also appreciated the excellent service from their new sommelier. Mooo continues to set the standard for the modern Boston steakhouse experience. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I will say Service was SPECTACULAR. All the staff were friendly, accommodating. Alex our server was knowledgeable about the menu and very attentive. The best bite of the dinner was undoubtedly the wagu dumplings, they were rich but well balanced. The octopus appetizer was over charred, the burnt taste was the top note, making it bitter. Sadly, our mains were also charred/burnt. The steak for the steak frites, we asked for medium well, but was really charred, again taking away from the taste. The branzino skin was burnt and the capers that came with it so charred to the point of being dry, charcoal dust balls. The French fries and mashed potatoes were well executed as was the au poivre sauce. Dessert was impressive, the bananas foster can easily serve 3 or 4 people, I loved the brûléed bananas and the presentation was beautiful. Overall, there were some standout dishes but if an appetizer and a dessert overshadow the mains, something is amiss.

The two entrees were small but mighty - they were packed with rich meats but also featured microgreens, herbs, and other tangy, bold flavors that really balanced the dishes. We started with some raw oysters. They were very nice indeed. Island Creek Oysters from Duxbury MA. is where they came from. We love the little local Junts a lot and had them all over the northeast while we were there. We also had Crab Rangoon Dip. Very good, lots of fresh lump crabmeat, with a house chili crisp, scallions, and wonton chips. Loved it! They we had some fantastic mussels to close the deal! The flavor was amazing! I wish I could have them every single day! We also had a bowl of BPH Clam Chowder. CC is one of my favorite things and this place did not disappoint in any way! Delicious!! The server was great. While the kitchen delivered a solid meal, the service was so profoundly disappointing that it completely overshadowed the food. The culinary side of things easily earns a solid 3.5 out of 5 stars. We ordered a wide variety of items to share, and the highlights included: * The Pizzas: Creative flavor combinations with fresh, high-quality toppings and fantastic crusts. * The Bucatini Pasta: Perfectly cooked and packed with rich flavor. * The Asparagus Appetizer & The Chicken Milanese: Both executed well, flavorful, and cooked to a high standard. Unfortunately, the front-of-house experience was uniformly horrible. For a large party, hospitality can make or break the night, and our server missed the mark at every single turn: * Argumentative & Dismissive: He actively argued with our host regarding an appetizer that had been ordered in advance. When asked about vegetarian substitutions for a sold-out pasta dish, he curtly replied, "Pasta with butter is all we can do"--despite the fact that we could clearly see a wide variety of fresh vegetables being used right on their pizzas. * Inattentive: Dirty dishes piled up on our table, and when we politely asked for them to be cleared, he claimed he needed to get help and walked away completely empty-handed. Our drink orders were rarely checked on or refilled. * Rude to Guests: He displayed visible attitude and put-off body language whenever anyone asked a simple question. This peaked when he was outright rude to one of the young women in our party who simply wanted to put her order in a bit early because she had to leave before the rest of the group. It is a real shame because the ingredients and the kitchen's output are genuinely good. However, between the hostile attitude and the lack of basic service standards, we unfortunately won't be rushing back.

Ali was an exceptional server. He paid attention to all the little details that turned a great meal into a memorable one. One of our favorite moments was when he noticed the two boys (both 12) tackling the huge bone-in ribeye. He jokingly told them that if they finished it, dessert was on him. They accepted the challenge, cleaned their plates, and Ali happily kept his promise!
