Prime NY Strip 16 oz Chateau Mashed Potatoes Grilled Asparagus Honey Butter Bread
    Tim G.

We dined at Del Frisco's in Seaport for a birthday and had a very good experience there. Seated right along the water, the views of the harbor are top notch. Our waiter was very friendly, accomodating, attentive, and professional. The bread starter was fantastic, rich and dripping with butter. The Chateau mashed potatoes were amazing and definitely the highlight of the evening. I give our experience a 4/5 only because our steaks were overcooked. But, still delicious.

I really hate giving bad reviews but this was unfortunately deserved. Food overall was not the best. It tasted all very average. The best dish was the crab cake. The steak barely had salt. The mashed potatoes had too much black pepper, that's all you tasted. It's odd because the food runner served mashed on everyone's plate as opposed to leaving on the table with the rest of the sides? Everything else very much mid. Let's rewind, As we sat down, there was a MOUSE by our table on the deck. Strike 1. Strike 2, drinks weren't the best. We had a great server who tried to bring us a new one but it still wasn't too great. Strike 3, we called ahead and asked if we could bring a cake. They said sure. We brought it, gave it to the staff. They brought it out for us with no silverware or plates. Thinking this was an honest mistake I went to ask for some and I was informed we couldn't cut or eat the cake in the restaurant due to health code issues? Hmmm...not sure how much health code issues were of importance with the mouse running around. But overall my experience was 0/10. Would not recommend.

Parking: lots of garages in waterfront Decor: typical for older steakhouses with dark paneling Food: very good bordering on excellent...if they only knew how to season a steak or prime rib Staff: a little slow on the drink refills Price: average for waterfront, dinner for 9 ppl just under a thousand

May 2025; romantic ambiance with upbeat music playing. The waitstaff provided excellent customer service. Food was good - the drinks will make the food taste even better. Great place to celebrate birthdays and graduations. Located in the shopping mall.

Del Frisco hit all the marks for me. I do not have a location near me but while looking at travel videos this steakhouse came across my feed. We decided to make a reservation for lunch as they have a great lunch deal for 38 bucks a person. The place is pretty empty at lunch so the dress code was a little less casual than dinner. Our server was great and gave us recommendations. We started with the crab cake recommendation and then we ordered the filet medallion lunch. Everything that came to our table was cooked perfectly and was delicious. I really liked the bread they served complimentary. This should be a standard for more upscale steakhouses. If you're looking for a lunch option and want to spend a few bucks more for quality I highly recommend.

Long time to wait for a table even in you call for reservations, but definitely worth it. They have long lists of wines for enthusiasts.

Has anyone been since Covid and sat outside? How was the service and ambience? Also, with rain expected this weekend, are there umbrellas or a tarp? thank You

When we went last weekend we sat outside. There were not umbrellas but the outside is totally shaded in the evening so it wasn’t needed. The service was Ok. I did write a review on yelp with our issues. The heaters are not working at the moment.…

Is here dog allowed? Thank you!

I would doubt it, its pretty formal.

Has anyone dined in the Harbor Room? Please tell me your thoughts! Was it a prime location in the restaurant? It looks opulent and inviting online!

Harborview room is private dining only. It is, to me, the prettiest dining spot in the city. You pay a set price for the room; that amount goes towards food and beverage consumption.

Given the choice, however, I now prefer the modern, polished, almost clubby feel of this location in the Seaport. The restaurant isn't particularly large, but it's a beautifully designed space. For larger groups, they have a few round tables that work especially well, including one that perfectly accommodated our party of seven. You can always count on a great dining experience at any of Chef Jamie Mammano's restaurants. His commitment to the highest quality chow, attentive service, fine wines, and an elegant atmosphere has made him one of Boston's most respected restaurateurs. Our meal here was spectacular. The cocktails were perfectly crafted, and it's hard to go wrong with anything on the menu. Standout starters included the Wagyu Beef Dumplings, Tuna Tartare, and the Dry-Aged Bolognese Lumache. For entrées, we shared several different cuts of steak, all expertly prepared and presented sliced for the table. The Beef Wellington is also fantastic here. The sides are uniformly excellent, but don't miss the Char-Roasted Heirloom Carrots with Honey and the Yukon Gold Potatoes. Desserts are equally impressive. Highly recommend both the Milk & Cookies and the Bananas Foster. I'd like to especially thank our waitress, who provided exceptional service and helped make the evening truly special. We were celebrating my son's graduation, and her warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail enhanced what was already a memorable occasion. I also appreciated the excellent service from their new sommelier. Mooo continues to set the standard for the modern Boston steakhouse experience. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

The reservation process was easy and a group of 5 was easily accommodated on the day and time requested. We arrived together after a short walk from the office. Bonus points to Moooo for not only having complimentary coat check, but also safe bag storage knowing much of their clientele on a weeknight is in transit from the office to home. Please people, don't forget to tip the coat check girls, it is only the right thing to do. Seated at our table the restaurant was initially fairly empty, but filled up nicely while we are already enjoying cocktails, wine, and appetizers. The long bar followed by tables of various sizes filled the restaurant, but it never was too loud and there was plenty of space between tables that you did not feel like you were sitting on top of each other or listening to their conversation more then the person across from your own table. Like most fine dining experiences, the complimentary rolls were served warm and lathered in melted butter. Sinful!. We ordered several appetizers for the table to share including tuna tartare which was very tasty and recommended. I also recommend the Japanese wagyu beef dumplings which were both delicate and savory. Lastly, the calamari was crispy and hot with the right amount of heat from the lemon and herb aioli. To accompany the entrees we ordered the broccolini, Yukon gold potatoes and the highly recommended tater tots. The only issue we had was with the tots which we collectively thought were both slightly over cooked and tasted "different". Said another way, I have never had a tater tot that didn't leave me wanting to eat them one after another until they were all gone, but this one was more than enough and more than 3/4 of the serving was left for the bus-person. Three of us ordered the 8oz Omaha filet which were cooked to perfection and delicious. Why is there not a 12 oz offering like most steak houses? Literally mine looked like it was 4 oz on the large, stark white plate when served. Thankfully being cooked to a perfect medium rare and accompanies by a bordelaise sauce which is also a rarity to find offered, was a treat. The prime New York sirloin and prime ribeye were equally cooked perfectly and delicious. We passed on dessert or after dinner drinks, but certainly enjoyed our visit. I have eaten at the Beacon Hill location previously, but this was my first experience in the seaport, but it won't be my last.

The steaks were expertly prepared, the sides were very good, and the service was professional, attentive, and polished from start to finish. The wine list was also thoughtfully curated, with plenty of excellent choices. Unfortunately, the ambiance did not match the quality of the food or the prices. We measured the noise level throughout dinner at approximately 76-81 dB, making conversation difficult without raising our voices. For a restaurant where steaks range from around $76 to over $200 for Wagyu, I expected a more refined, relaxed atmosphere. I was also surprised by how casually many guests were dressed. I have no objection to casual attire in general, but at this price point I was expecting more of a special-occasion dining experience. Instead, many diners were wearing Bermuda shorts, T-shirts, and sneakers, which made the atmosphere feel more like a busy upscale neighborhood restaurant than a luxury steakhouse. If you're looking for outstanding food and excellent service, Mooo delivers. If you're looking for a quiet, elegant fine-dining experience where you can enjoy a conversation over dinner, you may be disappointed.

Our wait staff was incredibly attentive without ever being overbearing, and the whole experience was truly out of this world. I started with the Golden Tide, which was a delicious combination of pineapple and orgeat flavors. Refreshing, tropical, and a great way to kick things off. For appetizers, I ordered fresh raw oysters and the scallop ceviche, I honestly don't know much about choosing oysters, so my waitress basically gave me a mini oyster class and I was impressed by how knowledgeable she was! She explained the differences between oysters, including how some are creamy and briny while others are much saltier, almost like taking a bite straight out of the ocean. Such a cool experience and something I genuinely appreciated. And that scallop ceviche? Hands down, the BEST ceviche I've ever had. The scallops were incredible, and I loved that they served it with root vegetable chips instead of the typical tortilla chips. Sweet potato chips added such a unique flavor and texture. Absolutely delicious! For dinner, I had the sumac-crusted tuna with haricots and assorted vegetables, and it was fantastic. The tuna was flavorful, beautifully prepared, and paired perfectly with the vegetables. Between the food, the atmosphere, the energy, and especially the knowledgeable and attentive service, Row 34 delivered a dining experience that I'll definitely remember. The wait after check-in for a table only took 5 minutes. I ordered from the restaurant week's prix fixe menu ($55), opting for the clam chowder, bone-in Kona crusted dry aged NY strip (+$12), and flourless chocolate cake. The cup clam chowder seemed decent enough. The NY strip arrived textbook medium rare per my request - warm red center without grey bands. The accompanying shallot butter did not overpower the steak. The creamed spinach and mashed potatoes, as expected of a classic American steakhouse, deliciously tasted like butter with potato and spinach garnish. The interior is pretty stunning, with large paintings all over the walls. It felt like a European art museum turned restaurant which was a cool surprise. There are also some neat statues around, with a lot of the decor reminding me of Revolutionary times. The atmosphere is comfortable and classy, and I almost felt like smoking a cigar or something while I was in the booth haha Our server didn't rush us and we had plenty of time to choose from the wine selection. The basket of bread was terrific, all kinds in there which I appreciate. I had a piece that tasted like it had cheesy onion in there, which I haven't had before. I got a cabernet to start. My appetizer was a lovely, refreshing salad, mixed greens with kale, feta cheese, dried cherries, toasted almonds, orzo and walnut mustard vinaigrette. There were wonderful textures to enjoy and it's probably enough for two people. I also had the wonderful German Riesling white wine they had. I had to go all out for the entree, choosing the seared hand-carved tenderloin (two 4 oz. pieces) with two butter poached lobster tails! I haven't had lobster surf 'n turf in many years so it was fun to have again. The dinner was wonderful, with hearty medium rare steaks very juicy and bursting with flavor. The lobster tails were sublime, and well garnished. We also got garlic spinach and mashed potatoes to share which were perfect sides. Because someone sent an appetizer back, we got a really nice dessert of a chocolate cake and some kind of soft tan colored cake with a lovely crust underneath. The meal was phenomenal and I think everyone should experience at least once, especially if you're hankering for a great steak!
