Been to the New Location at the shops of Legacy 5 times already. The service alone is enough to write about. I am determined to try everything on the menu. I haven't had a bad dish yet! For starters the philly cheeseteak egg rolls are to die for! OMG.... DELICIOUS. And the crab cakes have more crab than breading like so many other places!! Secondly, ALL of the salads are amazing, just choose one and you will certainly be satisfied. Don't leave without trying their famous double small patty cheeseburger with their specialty sauce....BEST you have ever had. And I got the filet Mignon hamburger with sweet potato fries ( sooo delish). I washed it all down with a red sangria. Me and my husband went for Thanksgiving Dinner and there was a small menu to pick from and no substitute were allowed with the food. I have been to the location in Houston and its very high end and had a dress code. My husband called this location to see what the dress code was and he was told just clothes.....they are not as strick. I came here last night close to closing and I've told the bartender either her name is Samantha or Michelle . She told me like three times lol her name. But she makes the best side car Drinks! Had the most interesting dinner at a Del Frisco location. I believe it could be the wait staff. Asked for bread to start and was told you have to pay for it. Asked if my chipped steak could have no cheese but the chimmi church sauce like I've had several other times. Once again was told what ever sauce I ask for it's an additional charge. When the dinner came out it had the chimmi churi chicken sauce in a bowl with the chopped burger. Was told I put it in for your sauce but it went through with no additional chqrge. The person serving us did not take the time to refill our unsweet tea, had to ask the manager who also bussed our table. When the bill was brought to the table the guy just stood there staring at us. Uhm yes we will look the check over after this mediocre service. Considering we go there often enough I've decided this was just sad service. WOW! Great lunch experience today. Last week we were at Taco Diner across the street and looked up Del Frisco's on Yelp. Had some really good reviews and some not so good. From our experience today, it's a five star. The temp outside was 95 degrees around 1pm, but on the patio with the breeze and the two "Big Ass" fans going, it was perfect. We started with the Cheesesteak Egg Rolls that were recommended and they we perfect with the duck sauce and hot mustard. For our main lunch meals, we selected the Kale and Brussel Sprouts salad and the Chicken/ Avocado wrap with sweet potato fries. Wrapped up with layer lemon cake. Enjoyed the whole experience including the wonderful wait staff. We will be back soon. Give them a try and let me know your thoughts. How disappointing. This was a total fail for us. Booked a RESERVATION for my husband & I for his birthday and needless to say; it was bad. The bass was so small, rubbery & very salty. My husbands steak was ordered med rare and got well done. We waited for our waiter but he didn't come back another waiter came in to take over - she had no clue what was going on and we needed to create a play by play of everything we ordered and she continued to get it wrong. Frustrating. We were turned off by the 4th time she asked what were our sides ... 1st time coming here with a 10 person group. from the beginning, our table was missing multiple chairs when we were sat. When we finally sat down, our service was slow and the servers were inexperienced. Our servers were unable to describe the menu items when requested, nor able to talk about the market catch of the day. They weren't even able to talk about how the fish was cooked. We placed our orders, and when everything arrived, three of our party's plates had to be sent back due to how raw and undercooked the burgers and fish were. When their food came back, some of the sides were also missing from their plates. Our drinks were not being refilled, and no one was even apologetic for the returned food or incorrect orders. We understand that working with large parties can be hard and overwhelming and we try our best to facilitate an easy experience for our servers, but the whole night was one mistake after another. The Grille did not live up the the high standard set by the steakhouse. No one in our party will be returning. read more

I came here at lunch on a Sunday with several friends to celebrate a birthday. I was surprised the restaurant was not crowded, but we had a separate area for us so maybe I didn't notice. I've been to Del Frisco's Grille several times but have never ordered a salad and thought I would get something healthy and light. This wasn't healthy or light, but oh my God it was soooo delicious and I'd highly recommend it! I would definitely put this salad in the top category of salads. As I realized this was not a healthy salad I opted for freshly grated parmesan cheese too... They listened to how I requested my steak to be cooked and it was very flavorful and tender! The deviled eggs by themselves were a little bland, but eaten with the salad and steak made them a wonderful compliment. I thought this was a great selection for lunch because it wasn't too heavy yet it was filling. The party was drinking carafes of Mimosa, but I opted for the pineapple martini which was incredibly delicious. Be careful it will sneak up on you! For our meal it was the prime rib with crab meat. Shrimp and mac and cheese with lobster. Service was nice but again for the price it was not worth it. We only took the wine home and could have ordered from Roadhouse for similar taste. As I mentioned, we specifically made reservations for our anniversary and there was no mention of it or no question about celebrating something special. Needless to say we ate our food and went next door for coffee and dessert. I don't think we'll be going there again, especially when there's so many more options. read more

I've eaten here several dozen times. The prime steaks are fabulous, finished under a broiler for a tasty and crunchy outside and juicy and tender inside cooked perfectly to temperature every time. The meatloaf is incredible, with a savory finish that pairs well with the mashed potatoes and gravy that accompany it. Don't miss the cheeseburger - there are lots of tasty dishes on the menu, but the cheeseburger is also 5-Star served with shoestring fries that aren't overdone. The truffle Mac and Cheese is as deliciously decadent as it sounds, and the Chicken Lollipops are a great way to start off. All the desserts are amazing as well. The coconut cream pie is unbelievable, but so is the million-layer lemon cake which is served chilled. I love the Nutella bread pudding with a cappuccino if you have time for a leisurely finish to the meal. The service here is as good as the food. The management runs a tight ship and is top notch - always visible and busy tending to the floor or keeping the kitchen moving - which you can see from the dining room. We took Brett's recommendations all through out our meals and started with the VIPs for our cocktails. If you are familiar with Stoli Doli from The Capital Grill, then this will knock your socks off. It is not only infused with pineapples for two weeks and hand squeezed, they use CLEMENTINE Svedka Vodka. This is what we are making for our next party. We then ordered the Ahi Tacos, which came with creamy guac and spicy mayo sauce in wonton shells. Yummmmmm. You can also ask to substitute the wontons out for lettuce wraps if you want a healthier option. For our Maine entrees, we ordered the Green Hatch Chili Burger and the Lemon Parmesan Crusted Sole, and let me tell you- they were the bomb!! I mean, how can you go wrong with the 28 days aged house made burger patties of Chuck, brisket, and short ribs that come double stacked?? You can't. And the sole was so buttery, light, flakey, yet deliciously savory that came with a lump crab salad on top. I'm getting hungry just thinking about this.... Lastly, the Nutella bread pudding- it was just LIFE CHANGING. We have visited the Del Frisco's Grille several times. I really like their fish entrees but tonight I had the filet. I like mine medium rare. They had us cut through the middle to be sure it was cooked properly which I really like. The flavor was excellent and the piece of meat was excellent quality. I also had the baby zucchini and a bite of my husbands truffle Mac and cheese. The sides were great!! And our burrata salad was the stand out. I loved their pesto and olive oil dressing. The salad was perfectly balanced and the mozzarella was divine. I normally get the wedge here which is also excellent but I'm glad I mixed it up and tried something new. We had the molten chocolate cake for dessert - it should be "molten" since they just pour on the fudge sauce tableside. It tasted good but I would have rather the menu read closer to the actual dish. Also in the future I'll order it with the fudge sauce and raspberry sauce on the side. The chocolate cake with ice cream was great but those sauces just totally overpower it. This is my first experience at Del Frisco and I decided to go during DFW Restaurant Week for 3 course meals for $39 per person. Ambiance is definitely fine dining. My friend and I made reservations so we were immediately seated upon entrance. We looked over the regular dinner menu but we chose to go with the restaurant week menu which was the better options. We started with French 75 and it was perfect. The Gin wasn't dry due to the splash of lemonade and champagne. We started with the artichoke beignets and deviled eggs which they are known for. The beignets were perfect. The batter was light and fluffy and it was filled with artichoke and cheese. And it is a big serving, more than enough for 2-3 people. The deviled eggs were okay but I am not a fan of deviled eggs in general. They were a little dry, but the drizzled sauce was a great addition. For entree we had the filet mignon with mashed potatoes and grilled salmon with asparagus. The filet and potatoes were perfect. The waitress suggested garlic butter sauce as a pairing for it and it made something great turn amazing. The filet was cooked at the right temperature, easy to cut and melted in my mouth. The salmon was simply prepared but good as well with the lemon squeezed over it. I'm not exactly sure what the green sauce that it comes with but I preferred the salmon without it. It was overpowering and took away from the taste. Lastly, was dessert. I would not recommend Del Frisco for their desserts. I ordered the Nutella bread pudding and i couldn't taste the Nutella at all. It all tasted burnt and I took two bites and wasn't impressed. Next we had the peanut butter pie and it was just overkill with the sweetness. It had extra chocolate drizzle. That one was a one bite and done. Luckily we were full enough from appetizers and entrees to not care much about dessert. I will definitely come back, service and location was everything I imagined. At all times our water was filled. There was always 2 people bringing our food and cleaning the table for next course. My friends and I ate here on Easter and it was not a good experience. The food was not good at all and the Easter Ham with orange glaze was awful! Whoever came up with that recipe should be fired! Ham should never be glazed in orange juice or sauce, it was overpowering and it was not good. The service was subpar at best. Our waiter wore a mask half way and didn't have his nose covered, he was totally disinterested in serving our table and communicating with us on any personable level. The burgers here are probably the best I've ever had..and that's saying something. With the heavy price of $14 you're getting a double- pattied juicy flavorful burger with the cutest little ketchup bottle. I've gotten the regular fries the first time here, and they were pretty good..but the sweet potato fries won the gold. PERFECTLY crispy and they come out hot with seasoning oh my. I can't come back and not get this meal. I have been twice and the service has been superior both times. The staff is incredibly friendly and they seem so genuine. They definitely are knowledgeable on the menu items, and what would suit you best depending on your craving/wants. The prices are much more than I would like, but if you're feeling fancy or feeling like splurging this is your place. I've only been to this location once (I usually go to the Uptown location), but I'd say the two are pretty comparable. Myself and two others came here for brunch and tried to get in at a decent time to avoid crowds, but I was still surprised that there were only two other parties in the restaurant. And it didn't pick up while we were there. Initially, I'd give it 2.5 stars because the red velvet pancakes that the two other people at my table ordered were a huge miss. I get that red velvet and chocolate are super similar, but these pancakes should just be called chocolate overload or something because they were wayyyy too chocolatey. One person sent theirs back in exchange for a burger, and the other decided to try to make it work. The reason why I'm bumping up to four stars is because our server and manager were amazing and really wanted to make sure we were taken care of. They were happy to swap out the meals and apologetic even though they weren't at fault. Also, the cinnamon roll appetizer things are great. Order those. We arrived at 11am when they first opened and it was very nice and quiet. By noon, it was pretty full, so be sure to get there a little early if you are in a hurry for lunch. I ordered the brick chicken with asparagus, sweet potato fries, and a grille salad. The salad was fantastic, very fresh. Unfortunately, the chicken was very dry and tough. Next time, I will order a steak or something other than the chicken. My friend ordered the Grilled Salmon with broccolini, and a wedge salad.
