I went here upon the recommendation of a friend. He told me getting tacos at a gas station is a Texas thing, so here I was on my day off because, well, this place doesn't have dinner friendly hours. I went during the lunch hour and there was a good amount of people in line so that was a good sign. Aside from it being in a very busy and decorated gas station, the taco shop has the lucha libre theme on its corner of the gas station, which was cool. The menu mostly consists of tacos, burritos, and quesadillas. Most were street tacos and a few breakfast tacos as well. I got a regular carne asada taco and barbacoa taco, as well as chicken quesadilla. Along with a water that I purchased at the gas station counter, I ate my meal in the large table in the middle of the store. The tacos and quesadillas were just okay. The flavors were not too memorable and frankly it was a bit expensive for me. I'm guessing it is because of the area it is located where tacos aren't as abundant as say like East Plano. Overall, I wouldn't mind coming here again but I would probably try another taco! read more

From the fresh corn tortillas to the perfectly-cooked meats, this place ALWAYS delivers. The tacos are on the smaller side, and at $1.87 a taco, I can rack up quite the bill (I typically eat six by myself), but it's worth it. The woman behind the counter is always great, and she typically even remembers my order. If you go during lunch time, expect a wait. Everyone knows this is where to get the best tacos in town, so it gets packed. Don't let the fact that it's in a gas station fool you. P.S. The asada is tender, the avocado is perfectly ripe and fresh, the quesadilla Mexicana is grilled and you can TASTE the grill, yum! Finally...the El Maximo is PERFECT for breakfast (or anytime).
