Awful and tasteless food. Got chicken fajitas that arrived with no tortillas or traditional fajitas sides. So how are those fajitas??? Called the tasteless joint and was told by them. "That's how they come". Our other order was 2 cheese mole enchiladas. It came with cold blocks of cheese inside. I couldn't cut my 2 cold cheese bricks with my fork. The menu stated "topped with onions". But arrived with no onions. Also called this "Mexican" food place and recieved plenty of attitude from them. You guys mess up our order and you give us attitude, makes complete sense. If you want traditional Midwest bible belt Mexican food, order from this joint. As we are expanding our reach in trying different restaurants, we tried Del Valle based on the reviews on Yelp. Upon entering, you are greeted welcomingly by the staff. The facility is very clean. They bring you good chips and two flavors of salsa. We pretty much finished those while going through their extensive menu. Wow! If you are going there with no particular dish in mind, it will take you quite a while to figure out what you want. So many things sounded so good! We both decided on the Camaron con Tocino, which is shrimp wrapped in bacon and stuffed with cream cheese. It also come with your standard beans, rice, guacamole, and your choice of tortillas. Let me tell you, this platter is absolutely delicious! And huge! You can pretty much share it between two people. The price is very fair for the amount of food that you get. This is by far is the best Mexican food in Sonoma county. Me being a burrito connoisseur I was shocked at what this burrito did to my mouth. The meat melts in your mouth with the salsa that had the perfect spice. The chips are fresh with the perfect amount of salt. The waiters are always making sure you are taken cared of. Food tasted as good as most Mexican restaurants. I got a Carne Asada plate to go. I was very surprised by how little food I got. There to go boxes are small, and so my portion of beans and rice was like a small serving spoon size, with 2 very thin slices of meat, 3 flour tortias and a bag of chips for $16.00. Outstanding customer service.......the wait person remembered us from our prior visit, and asked if we wanted to order the same drinks as on our prior visit. This place is pretty new and really good! It's within walking distance of my house so I've been going quite often lately. I always get a burrito and it's good every time. The people are very friendly and the outdoor seating is covered so it keeps the sun out of your eyes. Not so good. Margaritas are wine margaritas., they don't serve real margaritas. Carne Asada was burnt, mole was so nasty sweet! The guacamole was so bland, no flavor. Formerly MiTierra Restaurant, and apparently under new ownership, this spot is AMAZING!!!! My family of six, four of them children, enjoyed many different menu items, all of which were incredible. This is the site of a number of excellent Mexican food restaurants. We read the reviews and came back over there. Everything was perfect. The space is plenty, with outdoor seating, and a comfortable inside on a very hot day. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. We didn't ask, it appears to be family run. The chips and salsa were delicious. The menu was huge. I settled on a sauté of fish, my husband got a combo plate with an enchilada and chili rellano.
